    I have known your name for a long time, but just came across this video. You are a hell of a good teacher. I am old and retaining information on this complex machine is not easy for seniors. My last machine was an Ace 400. Subscribed.

    I’m a big fan of you channel. I love to see how the machines behave in different conditions in your test scenarios.
    I’m using the Ledgend for more than a year now and I’m still trying to find my settings.
    This video is amazing!! This is a video that Nokta should have made :-)
    Thank you very much.
    Can’t wait to watch your next video about the Iron Filter. This is still a mystery to me.

    I got the new 1.16 beta uploaded, took it out and wasn't impressed. Then I saw this video and set mine up the same and I was shocked when I found some awesome nonferrous items in a hunted to death permission. And much deeper than I've been used to for a long time, you da man!

    Thanks for all the information you give on these machines. I just got the deus2 last week and your tutorial on it was a big help in getting it stable on my beach.

    Thanks for explaining the settings on the Legend. I've been intimidated and confused with all the settings and I appreciate how you break it all down and explain them. Oh and cool see through shirt effects in the video .😅

    Thanks so much for this tutorial, I'm still up in the air about getting the Legend or the triple score , swaying towards the legend because of more settings. Going to watch your video now on the triple score 👍

    I’ve been frustrated with my legend. Two days and six hours on the time clock with it. Not one piece of silver. I’m gonna try some of your settings. Thank you for the informative video!

      @@calabashdiggeradventures I wanted to report back after I got to get out today. I used the legend for the last two days bringing my machine hours to two days, 14 hours (62 hours). Using the LG 15 coil (6” puck double d). I’m running version 1.17. Using field mode, M1, sensitivity 25, “F” discrimination pattern. After adjusting the stability and iron filter per your suggestion, I was able to pick out a 1918 mercury dime at 5” in a bean field where a house and store used to be. Thanks for breaking the curse for me and thanks the informational video!

    Appreciate the info Calabash. Been using my Legend over a year now and found some great stuff. At this point I’ve settled on Iron filter of 4 and Stability of 1-2 site pending. Definitely going to try what you are recommending in the video to see what that unveils for me. I live in southern VA and generally am fight mild/moderate to sometimes hot red clay in my area. Again thanks for your knowledge buddy.

    I use recovery speed 4 or 5 usually. And recently, have been using M2 or M3 with good results. I like 5 tones but sometimes I will use 60. Seems at 60 tones, there is much to sort thru from a good or bad target tone as they are close together in part of the spectrum. But probably if I dedicate more time to it, I would get a grasp on it. The information on this video is great. Look forward to more.

    I'm liking these theory videos better then the test garden videos, there's a guy selling a legend tips manual on Facebook for $15, not expensive so I'm thinking of getting one to see what's in it, if you sold something like that I'd probably get it I like have stuff in text on paper to read in bed

    The beach mode is deeper and more stable in my soil than either the park or field programs, And I live nowhere near the beach. However. It wasn’t like this before the last update. I can only run my sensitivity at 20 or below now in park and field in m1 and m2 it’s so chatty that it is completely unusable but in single frequencies i can run sensitivity wide open and it’s quiet as a mouse. The beach mode is not like this. I can run multi dry or multi wet wide open and it’s also quiet and way deeper than park and field even when it is set up the exact same as park and field. There is definitely a stability issue in park and field with the 1.15 update. Also noise cancellation did not help one little bit. And my test field is out on my deer hunting land which is 2 miles from the closest power lines.

      Hmmm hope the update will be out soon..

    • @MrBottlecapBill
      @MrBottlecapBill 2 місяці тому +2

      Beach modes have a higher pre-set discrimination level that may be knocking out the chatter or the beach mode frequency set is just better in your area. I can run them all wide open in my area 98% of the time no problem. Multi IS often noisier than single though due to emi.....on all machines. The Legend does need the new multi update however, it's been a bit off.

    • @VaDirtfishing
      @VaDirtfishing 2 місяці тому +3

      Multi frequency is way overrated. On any metal detector. Way more than people will admit. I stuck with the 1.11. I live in central va. My soil is hot red va clay. I can run multi and I can run non multi with with the sens way up. Unless I'm right under power lines. The 1.15 update was useless. 1.11 is by far the best. 15 the tones don't even sound the same. Do yourself a favor and go back to 1.11. You will see a huge difference
