i just got two baby girl ferrets, daisy and delilah :) im currently potty training them and they are doing so good i so happy. ive watched lots of ur vids before getting them and it helped a lot, so thank u!!
G,Day from Australia we got our boy now 12 months old from a guy who bred them the shelters had no ferrets he was the runt took alot of work but he is worth it
If you get a ferret, (adopt a ferret) from a shelter, then most likely, aren’t they from a pet store, or Marshall farms? Because not everyone knows about getting ferrets from breeders?
99% of ferrets from shelters are originally from a mill like Marshall farms BUT when you get them from a shelter, your money goes to the shelter and not to the mill. Where the money goes is what's important.
I really wanted a ferret sOOO BAD. Overtime I realized I wont be able to give them the life they need. I did a ton of research but I’m still in school and I don’t have a job yet. I realized I’m better off with a cat or something! Maybe when I have money and I have my own home I’ll get a ferret. I always watch your videos since they’re entertaining and informative! If I ever want a ferret later in life I know where to adopt :)
1. I’ve been researching for a year and a half and my best friend has 2 ferrets 2. I would be able to free roam for around 7 hours 3. I have a lot of spare time (time when I shouldn’t be playing video games…) 4. In 2 year :) I hope… 5. I was gonna get 1, but now I’m thinking about getting 2 6. My fam think they’re very cute, but they’re convinced they are horrible bitting (I will have to bite train) cat, snake things 7. I will adopt 8. I will get one around the age of 3-5 9. My neighbour will look after them if I go to a foreign country 10. I have always loved ferrets I really think they would fit into my life style as I really think I can provide a good life for my ferret/ferrets
I'm getting a ferret and I decided to get one from a licensed breeder. They simply do not have the health issues that mill ferrets do and can live 2 or 3 times as long as a mill ferret, they are a long term commitment like a cat or dog. Plus, I have to wait for a baby to actually be produced, so I have about a year to prepare for my ferret(s)!
@@FriendlyNeighborhoodFerrets it was super hard! There's only a handful of breeders listed in the entire US, some of which are no longer even active. Then some won't adopt to anyone under 21, etc. I'm definitely glad breeders have such high standards for their ferrets but I wish it was more expansive like the "ferret scene" in Europe where all their ferrets come from breeders!
Me who sleeps with my ferret, eats my food next to her and she wrestles with my fingers. I am not saying its ok to have one ferret and I am getting another ferret just saying i spend every second of every day with my ferret.
Also,am I the obly one who thought at first that Kenya went on a vent about eating raw chicken wings in her toy video before realising it's about keeping them alone ... I got a good laugh out of that at least 😂
My family says absolutely no ferrets, but at least I can watch this and dream. Unfortunately no one breeds ferrets where I live so Petco is the only place to get them. I can’t drive so traveling out of state to get some wouldn’t be an option even if I could get some.
I am fully aware that ferrets should only be washed 1-2 times a year but when you first get them is it safe to wash them no matter where there from....or is that not necessary? xx
hello this was very helpful as I am getting a ferret this week Saturday and it is Tuesday, my little Hershey and rolo I only want the best for so i have made sure to tick off every box, thank you so much i only want these fury friends the best
Kenya I have a question my parents are divorced and so I spent half the week at my dads house and the other half at my mom‘s house do you think it will be a good idea to get ferrets Because I’ve already made a plan and they get the amount of free time they need care they need and everything like that. I was just wondering if you think it’s a good idea or if I should wait till I move out.🙂
It's honestly really hard for me to give you a yes or no answer to this because there are a lot of other factors. My biggest concern would be taking their supplies back and forth between your parents houses. It would be hard to pack all of their stuff up and lug it to the other house twice a week. To avoid that, you'd have to spend double as much money buying supplies for them to have at both houses. To me, it seems like more trouble than it's worth. If I were in your shoes, I'd wait until I moved out, but again it really depends on your individual situation and how much work you're willing to put into it. I don't think it's impossible to make it work, but waiting might make your life easier.
Is waiting a month or so to get a second ferret ok? Also I’m planning on getting a ferret soon and I need name ideas, please suggest some. (I was thinking “noodle”)

You definitely need more than one ferret.

So long as you're eventually getting a buddy, I think it's fine. I had Luna alone for about 3 months before I found Nova and adopted her 😊
Your ferrets are so cute
