It had ALL the elements of how the Thundercats series were back in the days, only in a new and polished version. Artworks are new but very very good. SO WHY DAMMIT WHY :'( I want to see more of this :D

But at the same time, I really do miss the 2011 Thundercats series even till this day. Thanks for the fine work of what could have been to what it is now. I'll treasure this new theme song.

Just got finished watching Thundercats roar I thew up over 13 times and needed to watch this to clear my head also not sure why but this comment is number 666
Thundercats 2011 was one of my favorite reboots of an 80s cartoon along with the 2002 he-man, transformers prime, TMNT 2012, Voltron: legendary defender, and GI joe renegades.
@DarkwingDuck 1984, "You haven't watched the original in a long time I presume and never watched this." Seriously bro...you need to stick your head in the freezer it's gone bad. I've read some dumb comments on UA-cam and this is definitely in the top 10.
it really pisses me of that great shows like this and young justice get cancelled, yet piece of shit shows like adventure time and steven universe continue to air
I almost agreed with you, but then you said "shit shows like adventure time and steven universe" Those shows are amazing, and them (along with Gumball) are the only reason I still watch that dead channel. Would've been 100% with you had you said "shit shows like uncle grandpa and clarence" :/
Andrija Djordjevic People like to think Adventure Time is too silly, which it can be at times, but it's one of those shows that looks silly on the outside, but can have serious moments on the inside as well. Like how Finn is technically the last human left alive, and he wants to find his place, or how Marceline's relationship with her dad is a bit strained, and Ice King raised her but he doesn't remember doing so making her feel abandoned at times. And people also like to think that Steven Universe was only created to cater to LGBT people, to which I disagree. I think even if you're straight, you can enjoy the show. It also has it's silly and serious moments at times (the fandom however is terrible. I will admit that) The Amazing World of Gumball is just...really funny. Like, the comedy in that show doesn't feel forced to me. It's good to find a decent funny cartoon these days. I used to watch Regular Show a lot, but now I don't really care if it stays or goes. We Bare Bears is pretty good, too. Everything else on Cartoon Network is just bad...
The Optimist thank you i agree the old day one was way better then this one im sorry but if anyone ask me witch one of those i want back id say this the 1989 over this one im sorry but i would not choose that
sadly when most people talks about the classic shows , they only remember the opening ( me included ) like of Silver Hawks or Thundercats but happy to say this series was one of the few that the creators took seriously and trusted the audience to be smart and mature . It even had a very cute romantic sub plot that was much better than of in romantic shows.
No! it was not!!!, you have to watch it and then give an opinion, most ppl only remember the old Thundercats intro an compare, this 2011 had so much better story, it was so good!!

This show was so good. I was really upset to see it canceled. The ratings weren’t as good because they hardly advertised it and the time it aired was weird. The merchandise also wasn’t selling so they canned it. I have a feeling that if this series started on Netflix, it would’ve been a hit. Sure did Voltron a heck of a lot of justice.
I was very upset to hear this was cancelled. I liked it enough to watch it whenever it came on, even if it wasn't the greatest it looked very attractive.
The show intro is truly a lost art now. Too often the intro is shunned for content, but a great intro can get you excited to watch the show. Bravo for doing what the show creators could not or would not.
This right here: Flames!!!! Thats what I like to see. I would like for there to be a TV channel, not Cartoon Network or Boomerang, to show cartoons with intros like in this video for the 2010s. I still love the original, but this is one of the rare times when I don't outright hate the remake. They kept pretty true to the original.
Well that was awesome :-)
Thanks buddy!
about this intro you made... two words. BAD ASS!!!!! that is all.
That was epic, I was super impressed at how respectful it was to the original series intro. Nice job.
Well said. And you are 💯 correct.
I still hate that they cancelled this show :'(
This was the first remake of an old cartoon that is actually good...... no wait it was frikkin awesome. It had ALL the elements of how the Thundercats series were back in the days, only in a new and polished version. Artworks are new but very very good. SO WHY DAMMIT WHY :'(
I want to see more of this :D
Uh, the 2003 Ninja Turtles Cartoon? Transformers Armada? 2001's He-Man?
1krani Well in my opinion compared to the new thundercats i think those are bad. Altough 2003 ninja turtles was oke, but still not as good as thundercats for me ;)
Soeredj Chhatta How many seasons of Ninja Turtles did you watch? Because there's a reason it's my favorite animated show.
1krani i think i stopped end of season 2 or halfway season 3 i think. Not sure. I think i saw more but can't remember.
Soeredj Chhatta Well, the reason I like it is because it constantly sets up more stories and plotlines that can spawn from something as peripheral as the design of the elevator in the Lair, and then other weird elements further along can connect back to it until we have this giant web of intrigue.
A very worthy and modern take on the original intro. 👏🏻 👏🏻👏🏻
Original it´s better, but this is actually very good!.
Braden Rich Yes it is.
I didn't watch this remake, but as long time fan of the 80s version I can say that this opening is perfect! They capture the spirit of the 80s version and made something just as good. Excellent job!
Esto es una obra de arte que lastima que no lo vi en la tele .Ay alguien del 2020
I will forever be salty this only got 1 season.
This intro is acceptably hype to be the intro for the new thundercats
too bad it got cancelled, I would like a thundercats live action movie
Wow thanks man, this intro takes me back to a time where Saturday Morning cartoons was groundbreakingly awesome. You really captured the true nostalgia in this video. But at the same time, I really do miss the 2011 Thundercats series even till this day. Thanks for the fine work of what could have been to what it is now. I'll treasure this new theme song.
When you make an intro so good that people mistake it as the real one.
Fr
you know, its been ten years since this came out and Im STILL pissed it got cancelled. This show was becoming more formidable with every passing episode, and so was the lore.
I came from the future!! This reboot is better than what you are going to have!!! The new reboot for 2019 looks worse!!! Go back! *GO BACK!!!*
the original Thundercats show was good when I was a kid but this one in 2011 was awesome I can't believe it got cancelled that really sucks to just give up on this rebooted Thundercats show in 2011
I will never forgive them for canceling the awesome reboot. I hope in another universe, it got the several seasons it deserved.
I forgot how hype this theme was. You can almost feel the power from this theme like when you were a kid.
And people complained about the animation style in that one, huh?
RPIXELN little did they know it would get a lot worse
Thundercats is and forever will be one of the most underrated shows ever
Thunder, Thunder, Thunder, Thundercats Ho!
watched this over 10 times now :) cant get enough of the amazing intro!
That redesigned Cheetara tho... grrrrr...
Better than the Roar encarnation
I thought I was alone on this. Seriously, she looks like a lesbian...
I didn't knew the lesbians had an specific looking
Maybe someobe is confusing empowering with lesbian
@@zanir2387 There is what they call the stereotypical "lesbian haircut". Which is what chitara has in roar
Original and Remake version awesome!!
Roar version R.I.P.
I miss this show
Sooo awesome!!!
Just got finished watching Thundercats roar I thew up over 13 times and needed to watch this to clear my head also not sure why but this comment is number 666
This would have sold it for me. I completely neglected to watch this remake but thanks to this might give it a chance!
Fuck!! Why this show got cancelled?!! It s just, it s not fair! Every good show needs a contunity!!
Well done. Almost as good as the original.
Thundercats 2011 was one of my favorite reboots of an 80s cartoon along with the 2002 he-man, transformers prime, TMNT 2012, Voltron: legendary defender, and GI joe renegades.
I swear.....my old school Thundercats would beat the shit out of this new school shit.
Hell yea
AMEN
it rocked better at the beginning at least XD i mean , the music feels more tamed...
Your old school sucked, kid.
Unshaved Stuff if u don't have old school in your life then ur nobody
Growing up watching the original, let me say this: The remake its a real improvement!!!!
Nice mix and editing :)
So why was this one canceled ?
Shit toy sales, no joke
We need more of this show..
why watch the new one when you grew up watching the original! Not bad but it will never be like the original
That's a good thing. I've seen BOTH versions and the original one was so damn cheesey and corny it made me cringe at times. plus, Snarf.
Nothing beats the original bro
Francisco Zamora Is that what you think in this case or in general?
DeathGodRiku what I think in general
***** Are you sure? From what I recall of the original series, it took place on an ancient Earth I thought.
The remake was actually good and they did a good job of recreating the opening
NO. THE ORIGINAL FOREVER.!!!
@DarkwingDuck 1984, "You haven't watched the original in a long time I presume and never watched this." Seriously bro...you need to stick your head in the freezer it's gone bad. I've read some dumb comments on UA-cam and this is definitely in the top 10.
Koolavinine and your point to say that is...?
if this show had this type of intro instead of a 10 second bumper i would've been hyped even more.
it really pisses me of that great shows like this and young justice get cancelled, yet piece of shit shows like adventure time and steven universe continue to air
+Andrija Djordjevic Out of curiosity, what are the last 2 shows like?
I almost agreed with you, but then you said "shit shows like adventure time and steven universe"
Those shows are amazing, and them (along with Gumball) are the only reason I still watch that dead channel. Would've been 100% with you had you said "shit shows like uncle grandpa and clarence" :/
i just dont get the praise that these shows get all the fucking time
Andrija Djordjevic
People like to think Adventure Time is too silly, which it can be at times, but it's one of those shows that looks silly on the outside, but can have serious moments on the inside as well.
I will admit that)
The Amazing World of Gumball is just...really funny.
Hoo boy.
Need more shows like this again👍
Why couldn’t we have this instead of that terrible abomination!!
This series was awesome, definitely did the original justice
The old ones or original was better.
no, this is the one show where the remake was so much better
The Optimist thank you i agree the old day one was way better then this one im sorry but if anyone ask me witch one of those i want back id say this the 1989 over this one im sorry but i would not choose that
sadly when most people talks about the classic shows , they only remember the opening ( me included ) like of Silver Hawks or Thundercats but happy to say this series was one of the few that the creators took seriously and trusted the audience to be smart and mature .
It even had a very cute romantic sub plot that was much better than of in romantic shows.
Classic example of an invalid opinion but hey, to each his own.
No! it was not!!!, you have to watch it and then give an opinion, most ppl only remember the old Thundercats intro an compare, this 2011 had so much better story, it was so good!!
All I can say in response to Thundercats Roar is for Dr. Netflix to bring back THIS Thundercats or hell the original would be sufficient!
Dude this is some ridiculously awesome guitar playing. I created a youtube account which pissed me off a great deal just to say how awesome this is. Love it!
This show deserves a Netflix continuation.
Cheetara 😍😍😍 both the 80s and 2011.
The remake was so gawdamn cool.
The reboot theme tune is amazing.
Thanks for the lovely comment!
Imagine how stressful it was for the team in charge of the intro? The original show's content is pure '80s cheese, but its intro was LEGENDARY!
I was very upset to hear this was cancelled. I liked it enough to watch it whenever it came on, even if it wasn't the greatest it looked very attractive.
Born in 84 and grew up on the original but this is a good update. Now better but good lol
The show intro is truly a lost art now. Too often the intro is shunned for content, but a great intro can get you excited to watch the show. Bravo for doing what the show creators could not or would not.
Excellent job. My childhood thanks you.
You really have sight beyond sight my friend! You did, with honor, what the creators could never have done! You are on the loose! Congratulations!
No la pude ver completa pero que bueno que conservaron el opening original en esta nueva version!!
One of the very few remakes that are absolutely great.
Awesome
Damn I loved this show when I was a kid😍😍
This right here: Flames!!!! Thats what I like to see. I would like for there to be a TV channel, not Cartoon Network or Boomerang, to show cartoons with intros like in this video for the 2010s.
All the low budget cartoons that Cartoon Network are airing. Keep em' on Cartoon Network. I don't even care. The Cartoon Network I knew is nothing but a memory now. I don't know much about CalArts style but eh. I'm just stating my opinion.
Wow. This proves they made a mistake by not having an intro sequence. Excellent work.
You may have taken my father’s life… but you will NOT TAKE HIS SWORD!!!
