Glad Coy is letting some small youtubers on, very generous.
real
Very Mr. Beast of him
genuinely cannot stop thinking about how comfy tom's outfit looks. like not in a weird way, it just genuinely looks really comfortable.
he has rlly good style tbh
no one thought u meant it in a weird way until u clarified
i'm wearing pretty much the exact same thing right now, can confirm it is indeed comfortable.
how would that be weird haha 😭
@@rosy8772 listen, man, i'm just covering all my bases. i didn't want it to come off like "wow that outfit looks really comfy. *I want it.* "
Tom’s rebrand was probably one of the best ones I’ve ever seen like, he has changed and matured so much. I’ve watched him since his early years, and I can say I love being able to mature with Tom
ive seen so many awkward podcasts that this format is actually so genius, you guys just started rambling immediately and like the energy was just so chill from the start. awesome podcast :D
This is the genuinely the best podcast format I’ve ever watched Tommy on
Shut up....im talking
Makes sense, he's comfy on his own couch :)
Damn...and he has his own podcast......dude is getting roasted /j
have u seen shut up im talking
@@eleonqq yep! and i stand by what i said….lol
Coy has this certain chemistry with the people he talks to that I find fascinating. Not in a weird way, but rather just that he seems to click with people? Not sure how to describe it, but it makes me like humanity a little more.
He's only made episodes with his friends so far so that helps lol
He's authentic
@@ebush good thing im not only talking about couch surfing then (:
I literally am 27, do not really know who you or any of your guests are, but I really enjoy listening to these convos!
That’s nice! So far, I think, his guests are his friends
@ ohh okay! I know that this guy on this ep is a big UA-camr but I wasn’t sure about the others so far (and I haven’t seen Tommy’s channel yet though I will check it out now!) it’s nice to see such well spoken younger people ! They all seem very self aware and kind from what I’ve seen
@@Nagchampa765 from what I’ve seen, I agree!
@@Nagchampa765coy is a twitch streamer/youtuber and so are all his guests so far hope that helps a little
Same!
I really want people to listen to what Tommy was saying at the end about valuing your time, and replacing social media with activities and things that you actually care about, that are good for you long term, because it’s so so important. Since Covid I feel like so many of us have been trapped into HOURS wasted doomscrolling, watching brainrot, feeding into a cycle of quick dopamine that leaves you feeling overstimulated, unfocused and overall like shit. It’s lifechanging realizing how much more time and energy you have to do what you love (spending time with people, hobbies, etc.) and what you need (learning, projects etc.) when most of your brain isn’t filled up with an insane amount of information from social media that has literally been deteriorating your ability to function as a person. If anyone wants help with how to actually get out of that dopamine social media hole, I HIGHLY recommend Josh Czuba’s videos they’ve been helping me so much and I’ve actually been able to LIVE without feeling depressed and overwhelmed. You are in control of where you put your time and attention, put it in meaningful places!
tnx :)
0:11 he was put at gunpoint
“We love you Coy!” We all chant in unison
WE LOVE YOU COYY
WE LOVE YOU COYYYY
We love you coy!
We love you Coy!
We love you Coy!
The measure of a person is said to be the friends he keeps. Your friends have been engaging, serious and funny. Enjoying the conversations. Thank you.
One of the best podcasts I've ever listened to! The humor, the questions, the substance; everything about this conversation just feels so grounded
This is genuinely one of the most introspective and thoughtful conversations I’ve ever listened to
I think the whole conversation about the attachment to the stuff your producing is very interesting and refreshing to hear in these times, yeah UA-cam has changed, especially in the 7+ years I’ve been on the internet and I think it’s currently at a point where there is a clear split between the clickbait, fast paced formats and the video essay/ podcasts and longer formats.
Watching conversations like these is so much less ‘brain-rotting’ because it feels REAL and just like being in a room of people you’d choose to spend time with. Being raw and real about the topics is so enjoyable to me personally because it doesn’t feel like a headache where the only goal is to make the most money; it feels authentic.
Which leads on to the attachment to the content you create. It’s authentic because you’re doing it for the fact you want to do it. Just like Tom’s stand up, he’s enjoying it so it feels authentic. Coy, I’ve watched your videos since you were a much MUCH smaller creator and this expansion with the podcast is a massive step forward into the future of UA-cam I’d like to say. The world is shit but the light hearted banter of the podcast is so refreshing and real and that’s part of the appeal to it and for the people who watch/ listen.
In short, I think the more connected the creator is to the media they produce, the better the media is- it’s more authentic and personal and makes the viewer feel more connected to the content creator. It makes community and belonging as they feel like there’s a mutual understanding and its also personal which means they feel morally, they’re surrounded by people who has similar interests and values, so it does create a sense of community.
For the end of my essay (sorry guys didn’t mean for it to go on for so long) I just wanted to say thank you coy and also tom for everything you’ve given me over these last years I actually adore you guys and content it feels like I’ve grown alongside you and your content :,)
WOAH I WAS NOT EXPECTING TOMMYINNIT

How do you always manage to do this 😭
loved this episode! I was immersed in the entire conversation from start to finish; also could not stop laughing and felt weirdly inspired by the end of it, keep it up coy :)
thank you for inventing couches
I wasn't expecting the UK tour until the second season.
33:30 im gonna cry why did he perfctly describe me, dyed purple/pink hair, glasses, baggy jeans and are a girl
I DID NOT WATCH DREAM SMP PLS
Heyyyy ahaha
@al3459 this is devastating news I just dyed my hair black
Great podcast! I really enjoy getting to see and hear genuine conversation. Nothing scripted, no personas or character bits, just real people doing real talk. This was really enjoyable and now I need to go enjoy the previous episodes! Well done, sir.
I came across Coy only a few weeks ago, and tbh, I didn't even know Tommy before watching this. But the conversation was so interesting and entertaining, funny but deep, that I watched it in one go. I think what's making this so good is that Coy is genuinely interested in his guests/hosts, and they trust him to be open. I'm looking forward to the next episodes. And I'm interested if the format works when Coy gets out of the comfort zone of people he already knows and likes, to talk to "new" people. Btw: I'm a boomer and I get your humour most of the time ;)
everytime coy mentions NC and what its like there im like NO THATS JUST GREENVILLE!!! the cities are more normal i promiseee
right!!! i’m from nc too and i wish greenville didn’t give us such bad rep
Not the matt rife discourse 😩😩 im seathing
I remember watching tommy when he was 16 and i was also 16, i stopped watching around the time he turned 18 and rn im getting back into watching his stuff. I grew up as a person and he and his stuff also have grown up.❤
such a cool peak into a more personal side of u both! i loved this episode especially his advice. changes into adulthood is so difficult but your guys reflections make this stressful time seem so beautiful, thanks for sharing :)
I don't comment on social media but this podcast is so good. I'm really glad I decided to tune in, excited to see more of this podcast!!
Tommy did it better than jojo sims for rebranding into an adult
this podcast is quickly climbing up to be another one of my favs.
every episode is literally just listening to two people have a conversation. which arguably, yes, is what most podcasts are. but it's something about the setting; sitting on a couch with someone and talking. it reminds me of sitting on the couch at home and having the silliest but also most meaningful interactions i'll ever have in my life-with the people i love. or complete strangers! it's a time capsule of core memories. this is truly as you said: a breath of fresh air. hearing such similar humor, such a similar world-view, everything.
to see two people speak so passionately as well when they find THE topic too. brings me so much joy i feel like crying. i love how you both just give each other time to speak. it means so much to me to hear conversations where we're not just talking over each other. interruptions are accidental, not intentional. simply because you become so immersed in the topic. or simply because you're being attentive to the other, responsive to what they're saying. it's so so so wonderful. this is everything. thank you.
absolutely love this podcast, have been watching every single ep along the way and this content feels so refreshing. just real raw conversations about life experiences. please keep it up!!
57:16 Excuse me but did Mr Simons just tell us to "come"? 😂
55:52 is such an amazing way to put that it makes so much sense wow
after that one mcc i needed to see more of tommy and coy, i love this!
Hey Coy I just wanna say this series is really great. I turned 19 a month ago and feel sorta in the same spot you’re in. These are the kind of fears I believe are normal for us to be feeling at this age, but this podcast makes everything feel a little less lonely. I hope we both find what we are looking for
0:42 wise words
love love love this format of interview/podcast, feels so warm n cozy, plus i loved the rapport you two have - the vibes are immaculate!!!! i really enjoyed this video :))
this one hit hard, really love what you're doing with this podcast coy
this has to be one of the best couch surfing eps yet, genuinely coy! just such a great convo
Actually auch a good interview i loved how genuine the questions and the answer were just really loved it
38:51 Everything on the internet is sooo online
Bro toms got such a comfy couch wth
This podcast is probably one of my favorites, I always love to see how you and your guest’s personalities bounce off each other and it just always seems like it’s a good time. I always find myself rewatching the old episodes because of all the advice that gets sprinkled about or just to laugh at the ridiculous jokes, genuinely you’re doing a good job with this whole podcast coy!!!
Coy I just wanna say i love this, you give me the motivation to start a channel and be me and I genuinely am so proud of the work you have done
this whole video i was waiting for one of them to go over and fix the bottom right picture frame so it wouldn't be crooked and it never happened
3:4?? IT'S 4:3 HOW DARE
That video about rating places with 0 reviews was what introduced me to your content, and I def agreed with the people who said it was the beat video on youtube at the time. I've also been watching tommy since 2020 and i must say this podcast has been an awesome convo to listen to. Idk why im typing out this whole comment like an uncle checking in once a year but i just want to say that you're content, personality, and perspective are very grounded and inspirational and i think that is why people find you so refreshing and fun to watch. I hope you have an amazing 2025⭐️
IM NOT KIDDING I HAD A DREAM OF SEEING THIS VIDEO WITH COUCH SURFING WITH TOMMY AND THOUGHT IT WAS REAL A FEW WEEKS AGO. WAS IT A DREAM OR A VISION

i needed a new podcast to get into since a lot of my favorites have ended and i think this has easily become one of my new favorites!!!
so so respectfully, the whole vibe here, even down to the way tom is sitting, reminds me of hanging out w/ my straight guy friends (miss them)
this feels so homely and comfortable, genuinely one of the nicest podcasts i've ever listened in on!! big ups couch surfing
I’m so glad all my favourite UA-camrs are all friends and connected to one another 🙏

Duke of DSMP! Founder of Lmanberg!
I felt so old when I was 28 Now I'm 37 and I barely remember my age most of the time. I just have a really happy life Even though I'm mostly broke. But I feel young And like I can take on the whole empire myself.. lol
You & me both!
Another great episode! Was great to hear Tom's story and what he wants to do next! Keep up these great podcasts!
this podcast is maybe one of the only ones i've been able to listen to for an hour straight love your yt coy and love this pod!
How kind of coy to invite a small UA-camr like tommyinnit onto his podcast!
Yes it is. He does have a good heart. Although, as I understand it, Tommy is giving him free accomodation. And also, I suppose Coy needs new guests, and new material to entertain his viewers. So one could say it is a symbiotic relationship ...
I'm so glad tommy has found a new passion in his life! hope he enjoys it as best as he can
Love the podcasts! It seems like you're enjoying making this type of content, which is the most important thing. Also, it's so nice that you talked about the bts of making content. We, as consumers, often see only the product as you said and create a bit of heroic image of influencers, which is putting pressure on both the creators and viewers. The creators need to sustain their image, while viewers only see that perfect side of content creators. ❤
I need to watch this again fully sober lol. Like the last 30 mins feels so effing meaningful
You should do stand up coy. Two of the funniest people on the internet right now doing comedy sounds like a dream tbh
genuinely this is my favorite podcast it makes me so happy when you post and the format is so relaxed and just so nice so thank you for this ig:)
tommys style>>>>
Commenting because you told me to: This was a great episode! I've never watched this Tommy fella but he seems like a really cool dude. I enjoyed the conversation. I think you're a great interviewer. I think this comment is long enough.
One of the most enjoyable podcast episode I've found from most podcasts. I don't think thisll be your peak, but I really enjoyed the calm rambling vibe and not too crazy energy. Fit perfectly with drawing in my sketchbook :D
such a wonderful episode today. you guys are such strong and introspective speakers. please never stop!
Thank you for this. Tommy is my favorite UA-camr and I’m so glad he’s finally getting some recognition
Is this satire because he peaked about 4 years ago mate
@@aishi_zzyeah but then he fell off a bit and I think the person who ur replying to is referring to Tommy as his newer rebranded version
He is not as popular as what he once was and he’s picking up again I think
@@aishi_zzit is. I am referring to piso giving tommy recognition even though tommy is a much much bigger content creator than piso.
33:48 this is true as fuck at the LA tommyinnit live show I looked so out of place as a straight man with no dyed hair
Bro same here I’m a chick but I look like a pretty basic btc 😭
this is genuinely a phenomenal pod
why dose his sofa genuinely look like the comfyest thing ever
That was another successful conversation. Well done, Coy, for hosting it. You two seem to have a good rapor with each other. Did one of you say that Tommy reached 10 million subscribers? Amazing!
Well done. Conversation is an art.
incredible episode as per usual. i really enjoy watching these while i scan papers for my work, helps the hours pass a bit faster :D
best episode this far! such a deep and mindful conversation between two artists
it's so good I'm clipping it and sending it to my mom
this podcast was so amazing and inspiring!! it’s the first one i’ve listened to and i can’t wait to keep up with the rest!! 😋
You're a great interviewer.
this is a really nice video i love how put together and just thought out this conversation was. just feels very genuine i like it a lot
I really enjoy this podcast! ty coy
Thanks for another episode coy!
Im so happy i watched this, i really needed this conversation in my life right now.
17:46 was that a “you have 30 minutes reference” 😭
I was thinking the same thing 💀
This is the first video I've seen from you and this channel, and it's honestly such a nice idea and video format. I really enjoyed listening to it, it somehow felt comfortable or something. Great video!
My couch is really not stable enough for someone to sleep on it.
The hair is just gorgeous
So excited to watch!
i was so waiting for harry to just show up and interrupt somewhere😭
I dont think they lived together when this was recorded
31:20 COY FOUND THE HORSESHOE THEORY FOR REAL 😭
im here by accident this early but anyhow
TIME TO WATCH THIS!!!!!1
I had NO IDEA wtf dreamsmp was and I had to watch videos on it to understand this podcast and truly appreciate the gravity of wtf I’m watching. This is so cool
But also I’m still so confused lmao
For context I’m a 25 year old UA-cam viewer veteran I’d say (ew) like I watched Dan and Phil as they dropped, I followed all of the onision drama bc I was originally a fan at 15 and he replied to my comments, cyr, Shane Dawson, smosh, the BRIT CREW oh my god Tyler Oakley and Troye Sivan and Casper and Alfie anD CHARLIE IS SO COOL LIKE
This is just a stream of consciousness rip
KICKTHEPJ AND CRABSTICKZ 🫣🤩
wow coy piso incredible work for charity! filming with destitute youtubers to show them there's still hope ❤
I fucking love this podcast and this is the first episode I've watched
Wonderful podcast - Couch Surfing is the best! 👍
This was great, I really loved getting some insight since I also want to pursue art and one of the best ways to do it is through social media, but yeah its so easy to get caught up in the "must reach success" mindset that its easy to lose sight of whats important
I’m really enjoying your podcast coy!
Jeeze, if Tom ever wants to make a career change he should go into therapy or motivational speaking. That advice segment was honestly really insightful.
Tom's worst date is frying me- 29:15
the small comment section is so jarring
This video had been up for 3 hours...
Great podcast, loved it! (keep up the good work 😊)
