Good morning Brian and the weather community. It has been confirmed that inland Guyana had constant heavy downpours which directly impacted the wildfires in those areas. The coastland is under constant overcast condition but very little rain. Will keep you posted on the situation on the coastland as it unfolds.

What was of note to me was, as the halo moved, there was what looked like a thinned line of cloud following it as if it was being pulled by the halo.
