I'd say my favorite thing about gunpla so far has been the community, closely followed by the cost. As someone who has previously been into other hobbies such as LEGO, Gunpla costs virtually *nothing* until you start looking into tools for custom work, which is the next endeavor I plan to take. Almost everybody is super chill and willing to help with whatever question you have, be it describing the different Grades and their meanings, to complex topics like airbrushing.

Thank you! Gunpla can be expensive, but certainly not the most expensive hobby I've tried. You're right when you say that it does get pricier when you get into higher grade tools, but you don't see Lego builds as impressive as a customized Gunpla 😂
As for the G Self Ver Ka, your guess is as good as mine, but Hajime Katoki is starting to run out of other protagonist suits 👀
What I love about gunpla is the community.
I seen so many people always helping each other get better and improve. I seen, to be frank, some horrendous builds, and the comments on the post are all encouraging!
It's absolutely amazing to see. It's even inspired me to go back to school and take business. I want to open a gunpla shop where I am as there is none around.
I also want to start up workshops in elementaries once covid lets up some and more vaccines get out. I want to being the joy of gunpla to youth and bring more people into this wonderful family!

Congratulations! Gunpla just brings me back to my childhood. To that moment when I watched my first ever Gundam series (Wing) and where the love began. I always remember the times where I removed the parts from the runners barehanded! I didn't even know back then they were called runners. It makes me cringe now but still hilarious. Second. What I love about Gunpla, is the sense of accomplishment when a kit is finished. Not just the fact that it’s all built, but seeing where you improved since the last build, and areas you can improve on the next. I’ve said for years I was going to start building, finally got a chance, and it’s easily the most relaxing, most exciting, and, most rewarding hobby I’ve ever had. #amillagiveaway

My favorite thing is getting over perfectionism. Mistakes happen in building, in my case a lot, but there's no such thing as ruining a project. Mistakes can be fixed, or modified into making it your own. Glue, plates, paint, all sorts of ways to apply the "happy little accidents", as Bob Ross would say. It's a very nice thing to see in a real, practical way, and something that grows outside the hobby into my everyday life.#amillagiveaway
Agreed, any mistake can be fixed if you're willing to put the effort into it! Sometimes, that effort can mean thinking of a story of how the kit was battle damaged 😛
One thing I really appreciate is the thought that goes into some of the newer models. When I was building the ZZ Ver Ka. for example, I was amazed at all the engineering that went into building the core fighters and various pieces, allowing it to transform. It's really fun to be building something and not just know exactly what it is (having never built it before). #amillagiveaway

First of congrats on 1000 subs. You are actually one of the UA-camrs who got me into Gunpla a couple of months ago. Congrats on your first 1000! Knowledge is a very important thing to be share with everyone. And that's what i like about your video. What i love about about Gunpla is that, it is not just a simple robot toy like what everyone think it is. It is more than that, The artwork on the box, the runner, cutting it off the runner, build it and customisation is basically unlimited. And nothing beats the satisfaction after you completed the kit yourself! So basically, Gunpla has no limit and more importantly, it is a hobby that everyone can enjoy no matter how old you are. What I like in building gunpla is how amazing the parts come together to give form to a mecha. Specially the delicate details on it. Always wanted to attempt atleast one kit in my lifetime as a massive fan of all things Gundam. Honestly, my favorite thing about Gunpla is doing it with friends. Its hard to stay motivated when I'm doing it alone but when we all sit together at the big table and all work on our own things together and having fun while doing it, its much more rewarding when its done. Hey, I found this channel a while back ago and I have to give you props for just how professional everything feels about it! I think the thing that I love about Gunpla the most are the subtle ways you can be creative when working on a kit. Sure there are the obvious things like repainting and kit-bashing, but I love how the little details like how someone fine-lines a kit, or poses the finished model can help capture some of the spirit of the creator. I usually beat myself up a little too hard when it comes to other forms of creative expression, but gundam is right up my alley as something I can enjoy, even with the little imperfections. #AMILLAGIVEAWAY

what i love about gunpla is the rather easy entry into the hobby and then before you know it you have several kits built but not anywhere to put them but you are still buying kits knowing the fact that you don't have any space for them #amillagiveaway

Personally, my favorite thing about Gunpla is that assembling the kits helps me keep my anxiety under control. It forces me to slow down when my mind is racing like crazy, and gives me a set end goal that I can work towards at a steady pace. While I am in treatment for it and it works, it isn’t 100% effective all the time. This hobby has given me a supplemental means to aid in my mental health treatment, and I’m so glad I found it when I did. #amillagiveaway

What I love gunpla? Simply the fact that after a long day of stress from work and school, this is the hobby that helps in shutting out the noise from the outside world, even if for short spurts of time. I marvel at the engineering part of the kits. It is awesome how those different parts come together and turn into a very articulate model. And i like that i dont have to paint these model kits. I like to paint miniatures like 40k, busts etc., but sometimes i need a longer break from that and beeing able to build model kits that dont need to be painted is just great :)

I think the main thing that I like about gunpla is that it's been a hobby to build them for so long. When I was younger, I started building them to keep me out of trouble. Now that I'm 49, I picked the hobby back up to help deal with the stress of the pandemic. It keeps my hands nimble, and my mind focused. What makes gunpla great in my opinion is that every build is unique. By every build I really mean every build is unique, whether it's the same kit for the 2nd time or 5th, each kit always has an air of being special as each new kit is built with improved methods the builder learns from his past builds. Its these lessons that gives a builder their unique build style, uniqueness each gunpla builders should take pride in.

I don't know if Gunpla refers to only building or all Gundam related like the series, so I'll just go with with both. As a fairly new builder but have always loved robots/transformers etc, instead of cars like most kids my age at the time liked, Gundam is like the love of my life that I always knew but never payed attention to lol. I love how relaxing it can be building them and I love the to appreciate the final result, pose my kits, take pictures and just marvel at their magnificence.
About the series now, I love the characters, their melo-dramas, the conflicts that they experience, the romance! For me that's a big part cause it makes them feel more real and it resonates to me even more. Aside from the obvious that we all like, seeing the big fights and cool Gundams, I love more the story between those that pilot them. Shoutout to SEED/DESTINY btw. #amillagiveaway
I grew up on Transformers too, and Gunpla definitely satisfies the nostalgia there. The different anime series’ are pretty great, and I feel like you don’t appreciate the plot as much until you’re older haha

This is a great question but basically i love it all. i love it from the min i buy a kit to putting it together and painting and customize it until its finish. As for why I like gunpla, been a fan of them since childhood with the Wing series, had most if not all the cassettes, I even have a pretty big (near the 1/48 scale) toy Wing Gundam.

What I love about gunpla is that it helps me ease my mind from stress whenever I am building one. Also, In my opinion is one of the best hobbies that an anime fan could have. #amillagiveaway

What I like about Gunpla?
For first they look amazing, fitting most if not all my favorite aspects in general robots (proportions/design/internal engineering).
All of the gunpla I bought and built were from shows I watched so there's that, I really liked seeing them in the shows so I wanted them physically.
I'm also Big fan of the Gundam Build Fighters series (mostly GBF and Try) so just the idea of having the Gunplas fight each other is a dream that, who knows, might even happen in the future in some form.
As an aside I'd like to ask your opinion on the 1/100 Zero Gravity Judge (the almost but not quite gundam), it's a bit pricey but it looks spectacular.
They are amazing, and being able to build one of your favorite mobile suits in an anime is very satisfying!
The Judge is a bit pricey, but it's, in a sense, like a Hi-Resolution model, which are almost the same price. The build experience was actually really fun! Imagine doing a resin conversion kit without worrying about paint or wearing a respirator for the resin--it has just as much detail!
My fav part of building gunpla is definitely the satisfying clicks when you put the pieces all together. #AMILLAGIVEAWAY

*GUNDAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAM!* I like building, I like robots, I really like building robots! Been a passion of mine since I was little.
Even if it wasn't a gunpla, one of my favorite toys as a child was a small deathscythe hell action-figure (damashi? Idk).
When I found it again later on, it was also when I decided to get my first kit: a MG deathscythe hell (good memories and cringey errors/rookie mistakes on that build).
