I really needed this message. I recently didn't go to my sister's wedding because the family views me as weird and brainwashed by one of my parents. I chose not to go because my siblings treat me like crap and say they "love me" when actions speak louder. They probably hate me more but I choose myself and peace over their feelings.

I will block them for my sanity then unblock and we talk it through but it lasts for 1-3 months before their true colors come out again and they launch personal attacks and lies onto me if I don’t do what they want me to do, if I disagree, or choose not to attend a family event etc. They never respectfully disagree, they throw shots and digs in a vindictive and hateful way. I end up blocking again and the cycle continues. The last straw occurred 6 months ago when my sister didn’t tell me she was getting married. Instead I found out with a random wedding invite my sister emailed me with my future wedding venue attached. Yes she and my mother stole my exact wedding venue that I previously shared with them both (my wedding got delayed due to a death in my husbands family) and acted like that’s totally normal for a sibling to book her sister’s wedding venue for herself and have a rushed wedding to steal the venue and get married there first. I cut them off permanently.

As I was listening, I realized I used to be able to describe myself like this - a very lively & carefree spirit, which people noticed and often gravitated toward, & would say similar statements like you mentioned - but over the years I've become much more introverted and to myself. I've definitely "dimmed myself down" intentionally in recent years and keep to myself now. I don't know if that's how/where I am supposed to be right now, but hearing this made me sad that I don't express my fun-spirited self as much - and a lot of that is due to holding myself back in fear of the envious behavior/discomfort of others, which I have experienced in past- & still do without trying. At this point, and I hate to say it, it feels "safer" to keep to myself, but maybe that's just my season.

This has been happening to me lately at work. I work as a kitchen expo helping take the food out to customers. Lately, whenever I walk downstairs with the tray of food, as soon as I enter all of my coworkers are staring at me. Sometimes customers too but mostly coworkers I think because a lot of them are jealous, intimidated by me, or simply just can’t help themselves I guess. It makes me really unsettled. if ya’ll gonna be this rude than you could at least pretend to smile instead of staring me down like a deer in the headlights every time. 😂 and then my narcs family keeps inviting hangout even tho they know we aren’t talking atm. It’s awkward. I feel like they only want me over because of the presence I bring but then when I actually do hangout I get weird looks, passive aggressive comments, and made to feel like they don’t like me all that much. So lately I’ve been denying a lot of people and pulling my energy back. Feels good cause I’m so exhausted and I don’t have the energy to give anymore

Man, mine is the opposite I only give love and joy out and I’m always non judge mental but… everyone is always talking down on me, talking behind my back, throwing subliminal’s, talking death over myself, making jokes about my assassination and death, three people even quit because of my light being too bright; One guy just quit out of nowhere and my coworkers were talking about my light being too bright. My boss left because my light was becoming very annoying… but I stay to myself and work very very hard stay very positive and encouraging everyone around me.
Oh my gosh I relate to a T!! Like the words came right outta my mouth. I’ve been spiritually attacked so hard since the day I stepped foot in my new job. A lot of envy, jealousy, strange looks, snide remarks and all the above you mentioned. I literally barely talk to anyone unless I absolutely have to or if I’m having a really good day because my energy levels are high. I’m dealing with a situation outside of work that has also drained the life out of me. I’m isolating so hard to protect myself because it’s coming from angles. Today I left halfway through a shift because I’m so mentally and emotionally exhausted and I need rest. People at my job are dropping like flies. One guy who was pretty toxic and I think was secretly tryna get me to quit ended up getting fired. Another few supervisors were also let go. A couple employees have dropped off so I feel like so much has changed since I got here and it seems like the people that are left still don’t like me no matter how polite or kind I am and no matter how much I try to do my work and stay to myself.

I'm usually quite oblivious to how people react toward me when I'm around. I'm always really focused on what I'm doing and living my own life. As far as speaking amazing things or knowing things about people is concerned you are talking about the gift of prophecy. I am a prophet and often speak and or do prophetic things without knowing it. Sometimes God will tell me things to say but sometimes words just flow out of my mouth and I find out from the person I'm speaking to that my words are prophetic. When I’m out an about it’s only for work my customers love my presence but then I go home and just want to be a hermit. I spend most of my time talking to my customers that are mostly elderly. I love older people.
THIS COULD MAKE ME CRY because I know this from others saying it. I don't even notice people looking at me when I walk in a room but constantly told the room stops. It testies to my heart that is sincere to just make people better. I'm sick of being hated on for this but I am also starting to be more assertive that this is a gift and I do not have to feel like I'm being prideful because I recognize it is a gift and shoot I am a gift. I don't have to be humble to make others feel better about me shining. It sounds so cocky but I am so not cocky. I like building people, I like encouraging them in their walk, I like to make rooms better, I love God and people, I feel this everyday all day and it is hard to navigate. I am allowing God to keep me in isolation as I get an understanding of how I need to move and around who. I need not dim my light and my sincere desire is that they see Christ and not me. It is NOT my energy I feel it is the Holy Spirit inside me that causes me to have sooooo much energy and make things better. I also did therapy for 3 years because this gift (not understood) already had me get out of a narcissistic marriage of 16 years. He drained and almost killed my spirit but could not. I am considering being a life coach to actually use this gift for greater good and to do what I enjoy. I need to continue to work on boundaries and not going beyond how God intended me to use this gift. This was so cool to hear like when we do those personality tests. I believe it. I used to befriend the wrong people because I was raised by narcissists. Once I became fed up and moved on they’d always chase. I never went back. The one time I did it was obvious they hadn’t changed at all

I really needed this message. I recently didn't go to my sister's wedding because the family views me as weird and brainwashed by one of my parents. I chose not to go because my siblings treat me like crap and say they "love me" when actions speak louder. They probably hate me more but I choose myself and peace over their feelings.

I will block them for my sanity then unblock and we talk it through but it lasts for 1-3 months before their true colors come out again and they launch personal attacks and lies onto me if I don’t do what they want me to do, if I disagree, or choose not to attend a family event etc. They never respectfully disagree, they throw shots and digs in a vindictive and hateful way. I end up blocking again and the cycle continues. The last straw occurred 6 months ago when my sister didn’t tell me she was getting married. Instead I found out with a random wedding invite my sister emailed me with my future wedding venue attached. Yes she and my mother stole my exact wedding venue that I previously shared with them both (my wedding got delayed due to a death in my husbands family) and acted like that’s totally normal for a sibling to book her sister’s wedding venue for herself and have a rushed wedding to steal the venue and get married there first. I cut them off permanently.

As I was listening, I realized I used to be able to describe myself like this - a very lively & carefree spirit, which people noticed and often gravitated toward, & would say similar statements like you mentioned - but over the years I've become much more introverted and to myself. I've definitely "dimmed myself down" intentionally in recent years and keep to myself now. I don't know if that's how/where I am supposed to be right now, but hearing this made me sad that I don't express my fun-spirited self as much - and a lot of that is due to holding myself back in fear of the envious behavior/discomfort of others, which I have experienced in past- & still do without trying. At this point, and I hate to say it, it feels "safer" to keep to myself, but maybe that's just my season.

This has been happening to me lately at work. I work as a kitchen expo helping take the food out to customers. Lately, whenever I walk downstairs with the tray of food, as soon as I enter all of my coworkers are staring at me. Sometimes customers too but mostly coworkers I think because a lot of them are jealous, intimidated by me, or simply just can’t help themselves I guess. It makes me really unsettled. if ya’ll gonna be this rude than you could at least pretend to smile instead of staring me down like a deer in the headlights every time. 😂 and then my narcs family keeps inviting hangout even tho they know we aren’t talking atm. It’s awkward. I feel like they only want me over because of the presence I bring but then when I actually do hangout I get weird looks, passive aggressive comments, and made to feel like they don’t like me all that much. So lately I’ve been denying a lot of people and pulling my energy back. Feels good cause I’m so exhausted and I don’t have the energy to give anymore

Man, mine is the opposite I only give love and joy out and I’m always non judge mental but… everyone is always talking down on me, talking behind my back, throwing subliminal’s, talking death over myself, making jokes about my assassination and death, three people even quit because of my light being too bright; One guy just quit out of nowhere and my coworkers were talking about my light being too bright. My boss left because my light was becoming very annoying… but I stay to myself and work very very hard stay very positive and encouraging everyone around me.
Oh my gosh I relate to a T!! Like the words came right outta my mouth. I’ve been spiritually attacked so hard since the day I stepped foot in my new job. A lot of envy, jealousy, strange looks, snide remarks and all the above you mentioned. I literally barely talk to anyone unless I absolutely have to or if I’m having a really good day because my energy levels are high. I’m dealing with a situation outside of work that has also drained the life out of me. I’m isolating so hard to protect myself because it’s coming from angles. Today I left halfway through a shift because I’m so mentally and emotionally exhausted and I need rest. People at my job are dropping like flies. One guy who was pretty toxic and I think was secretly tryna get me to quit ended up getting fired. Another few supervisors were also let go. A couple employees have dropped off so I feel like so much has changed since I got here and it seems like the people that are left still don’t like me no matter how polite or kind I am and no matter how much I try to do my work and stay to myself.

I agree. These points are all valid. It can make relationships very interesting. People and strangers can be quick to open up to me especially when they normally don’t talk. People like ourselves have to be protective of our energy because energy vampires can drain you and your time. What tends to scare me is people become close to me before I’m that close to them

I'm usually quite oblivious to how people react toward me when I'm around. I'm always really focused on what I'm doing and living my own life. As far as speaking amazing things or knowing things about people is concerned you are talking about the gift of prophecy. I am a prophet and often speak and or do prophetic things without knowing it. Sometimes God will tell me things to say but sometimes words just flow out of my mouth and I find out from the person I'm speaking to that my words are prophetic. I've only ever been in a short handful of rooms where my energy actually didn't dictate the room. However, the presence is still felt.

Interesting. I’m not necessarily high energy, as I’m more calm, quiet, and composed, but I know my presence is felt. What’s even crazier, is that my absence is felt even more as my presence is usually taken for granted. I move on easier than the others. My source of strength is from Christ, and no one else, and that usually offends people because I have zero dependence on them. This is why I actively try to avoid attention and find a balance between the solitude I need and socialising (which I also need to some degree). That said I can draw bad attention so I need to be cautious. It is a fine line sometimes.

When I’m out an about it’s only for work my customers love my presence but then I go home and just want to be a hermit. I spend most of my time talking to my customers that are mostly elderly. I love older people.

THIS COULD MAKE ME CRY because I know this from others saying it. I don't even notice people looking at me when I walk in a room but constantly told the room stops. It testies to my heart that is sincere to just make people better. I'm sick of being hated on for this but I am also starting to be more assertive that this is a gift and I do not have to feel like I'm being prideful because I recognize it is a gift and shoot I am a gift. I don't have to be humble to make others feel better about me shining. It sounds so cocky but I am so not cocky. I like building people, I like encouraging them in their walk, I like to make rooms better, I love God and people, I feel this everyday all day and it is hard to navigate. I am allowing God to keep me in isolation as I get an understanding of how I need to move and around who. I need not dim my light and my sincere desire is that they see Christ and not me. It is NOT my energy I feel it is the Holy Spirit inside me that causes me to have sooooo much energy and make things better. I also did therapy for 3 years because this gift (not understood) already had me get out of a narcissistic marriage of 16 years. He drained and almost killed my spirit but could not. I am considering being a life coach to actually use this gift for greater good and to do what I enjoy. True. Can we also speak about how many claim to be “chosen” but are more about material wealth and gain and success? I don’t know but I’ve come across a couple of videos where people claim to be chosen but honestly I get the vibe that they aren’t.. they just seem to be about gaining material wealth and success.. I don’t think that’s what chosen ones are about or came here to do.
