I was nearly going to buy a second hand Aquasmart today with the LCD screen but when I lifted the lid it had a full size agitator and not the low profile one. A little odd for a reputable shop to have the wrong agitator installed.
I believe that was an official model back in the day. It may have been a FabricSmart model, if I remember right those use the LCD control panel but with the classic agitator design.
Put a small flat screwdriver down the lid lock hole, push the mechanism inside all the way down and start the machine, then take out the screwdriver. Be gentle though and don't force anything, it should work without any hard force.
I’ve had 3 agitator smart drives (2 5.5kg prides one from 1998 one from 2007 and a 7kg washsmart form 2017) and I’m really stating to get sick of them (only the 2017 and 1998 are still going) they use ALOT of water and don’t clean the best so when my new one dies I might get a new aquasmart or a lg top loader
A little difficult to hear with your dryer(?) running in the background, but do you notice that it drains for ~10 seconds at 5:38? My US AquaSmart (with top-of-line LCD touchpanel) also does that. It drains a little more on a smaller load such as a set of twin-size sheets. Seems a bit of waste to fill to a specific high level ... there's no auto load-size sensing on the Sheets cycle ... then drain some of the water ... unless draining is a pseudo load-sensing process to get better contact of the load onto the impeller.
Yes. It's got the same Direct Drive motor. Fisher & Paykel invented DD motor for washers in 1990, and some years later Whirlpool collaborated with them to put in their WP/Maytag washers. Whirlpool makes Maytag btw.
@@callumlovestrainsandplanes2108 me too, I want the old direct drive motor sound back! If I ever buy one of these machines, I'll buy the older motor so I can still have that sound

Get a F&P front loader.
Overall I like it the best out of everything, despite some annoyances which can be overlooked.
Can you get this machine in the usa
Sort of as there are updated models now. Fisherpaykel dot com
It seems completely wierd that the detergent contains essential oils, when u try to wash it clothes to get the oil OUT of it.... *LOL*
Filma o painel da lavadora também.
It almost has the same sound as the maytag he washer

Dean's Washer Videos Didn’t LG collaborate with F&P too? Because from memory their stator designs are very similar to those of F&P’s.
Love the sound of the direct drive motor on this machine

A little to gentle for my taste.
