    Let me just say you are beautiful your hair is gorgeous. And anyone who feels the need to be distracted by your hair and can't hear the words coming out of your mouth can just kick rocks and go somewhere else. Don't you dare explain yourself to people who feel entitled behind a keyboard to tell you how to do you

    Hi I really appreciate your reviews and channel. Can you or have you done a video on clean soapy Middle Eastern Fragrance. I can't seem to find anything on the subject. Many Thanks 😊

      I'm glad to hear you enjoy my videos, thank you for watching dear! 🤗🌹 I don't know many fragrances in this scent genre but I would recommend you to look up 'Misk al Tahara' - it smells clean- soapy- musky- powdery (baby powder like scent) it smells like you just stepped outside of the shower and you're clean. It's not really an oil but it has a denser thicker consistency and you apply it on your slightly damp skin and it lasts so well. You can wear it on its own or you can even use it as a base to layer other clean freshies or fruity freshies on top of to amplify the longevity. If you're based in the US or Canada look up Musk al Tahara from Ibn al Jebouri, their version is the only one I've tried myself but the longevity is amazing. Few other fragrances that smell clean - Musk Mood by Lattafa (this smells like clean freshly washed & dried clothes), Roses Greedy by Montale (this smells like rose scented soap with powdery musky nuances). Out of my mind I can't think of anything else at the moment but if I remember more I'll add to the comment later. 💫

    I am a man that watches your videos. Can you just add if the fragrances you review are unisex. About this one is it to feminine for a man?

    • @mishellame
      @mishellame 7 місяців тому +1

      This is a very feminine fragrance, and for me, best worn by a younger person. She did a spot on review. It is a pretty sweet perfume and not that a man can't wear it, but it is definitelly not unisex. Hope this helps :)

    • @AFragrantGlance
      @AFragrantGlance  7 місяців тому

      I find it feminine leaning bacause of the smell, unless you really love the smell of pear with caramel and musk it might be too sweet for your taste, it doesn't have any woodsy/darker facets to give it a unisex edge. Thank you for watching! ❤️

    I'm going to order a vial...but...I don't know about where you live, but in most temperate areas of the world...which excludes the tropics and the tundra...pears ripen at about the same time as apples...in the autumn. There's biologically NOTHING about pears that says "summer"!!!

    • @AFragrantGlance

      Glad you got that off your chest 😂

    • @joannathesinger770
      @joannathesinger770 7 місяців тому

      @@AFragrantGlance Me too. I'm a certified master gardener, and I know three or four things about fruit orchards, including pears, which CLEARLY you do NOT!!! After listening to you yammer on about the "summeriness" of pears when pears NEVER ripen in the summer was just more than I could take and I had to call you out on it!!!

    • @AFragrantGlance
      @AFragrantGlance  7 місяців тому +10

      @joannathesinger770 Joanna here on this channel we're talking about fragrances, not gardening. I didn't say I eat pears in spring or summer, I said I associate this fragrance with spring summer, just like I associate all fruity fragrances with warm weather fragrances. What about all the fruits that don't grow in a country and the fragrances made around those accord? What season should I associate them with? 😂
      I don't know much about you but after reading your comment I can sense you're either too well rested or too bored, but either ways if you get so worked up over my thoughts on the fragrance you should look a bit inwards because this clearly goes way beyond your diploma in gardening and pears.

    I love that you have different perfumes then most the other reviewers that i am following. I debated not saying anything but i have actually been considering not following these videos anymore and maybe others struggle with this as well so maybe a little constructive criticism is better then saying nothing and just unsubscribing. For some reason the constant hair flipping gets to me to the point i just end the video. It seems so trivial and I have been trying to ignore it but I genuinely want to know about the perfume in your video but find myself skipping them and something as simple as putting your hair back might save you loosing out on some viewer loss. Otherwise love your videos.

      Thank you for watching Jason, I appreciate your feedback as well and I will think about it! ✨️ Truth is, this is something so natural for me & I do it in my day to day life but I can see why it can be bothering to some considering how close the camera is. I'll try to keep this in mind for future videos.

      @rebeca_1111_danConstructive criticism is
      providing feedback that will
      help someone improve their
      work. It is not an attempt to
      tear the other person down
      but to point out ways in which
      he/she can improve.
      Constructive criticism
      appreciates what is being
      done right and points out
      those areas which are lacking.

      @rebeca_1111_danIf you have long hair, be sure it is out of the way so it won’t cover your face. Flipping hair out of your face is very distracting, so it is wise to secure it with clips, gel, or some other method. This is from principles of public speaking.

      @rebeca_1111_dan This is actually an excerpt from Principles of public speaking. It is actually teaching people the art/science of how your nonverbal actions effect how your presentation is received by the viewer. I wholeheartedly agree that no one should be rude.

      @rebeca_1111_dan I'm sorry for whatever is going on in your life that is making you so angry. Hopefully things get better for you soon. No anger/rudeness on my part was ever extended. As a teacher I would assume that at times you offer suggestions to students for using techniques brought forth from professionals that studied in such areas as public speaking and that we should value those degrees just as much. As a teacher I'm sure everytime you teach a child about alternative ways of doing things that no personal attacks are intended while trying to help them think or behave in a way that schools/teachers have decided was the best.

    Hi, pear is probably not my scent so I guess there won't be any tests. However, I am curious if you have tried LATTAFA KASHAF. This supposedly smells like La Capitale Xerjoff which smells like Mula Mula, at least it is compared that way. I wonder if there is musk in Mula Mula similar to that in Erba Pura? because I can't stand this smell

    • @AFragrantGlance
      @AFragrantGlance  6 місяців тому

      Thank you for watching dear! 🤗🌹 I haven't tried Kashaf but I will look into it, I love the DNA of La Capitale and Mula Mula. To my nose Mula Mula doesn't have that style of musk, it's easy to wear if you enjoy fruity fragrances with a sweet thick caramel base. Mula Mula and Erba Pura go in very different directions to my nose, but still if you know you have a sensitivity to that style of musk better test it prior if you have the chance, or test Modjo from Tweens Paris to get a feel of the scent DNA, it's a tad brighter than Mula Mula but scent wise they smell extremely similar.

    Your review is spot on. I got a semple of this perfume and when sprayed it it was a burst of pear! I am in my 40's and I definitelly see someone younger wearing it, that is the vibe of the smell. True, very simple fragrance and although not my cup of tee, especially in the opening, it actually has a nice drydown. Sweet summer perfume.

    • @mishellame
      @mishellame 7 місяців тому

      @@mauri1400 no, it is a very sweet girly sent. I can’t see a man wearing it to be honest. I mean, anyone can wear whatever they want, but this one doesn’t lean musculine in any part of the parfume olfactory.

    This perfume smells exactly like Ariana Grande's sweet like candy in the dry down. There's almost no difference, especially in the air. I'm so annoyed that I bought it. Because I already have Ariana Grande's sweet like candy. It's just a sweet fruity perfume. There isn't anything particularly special about the DNA. There isn't anything particularly wonderful about it and quite frankly I'm off the hype train for these perfumes.
