Well that producer just so happens to be part of the Legendary producing duo known as Black Eyed Pilseung. Known for producing many kpop hits for groups like Twice, Apink, Sistar, Miss A and many other groups.

The love and support this producer is giving the girls is incredible. Especially when J suggested singing her chorus part an octave lower, he didn't even hesitate, and let her go right ahead and try it out! And you can tell in her voice that she loved how it sounded and was giving it her all, and he acknowledged it. That's exactly what they need as artists. You can tell she was so nervous to suggest the change but was met with nothing but care & respect, and treated like the talented musician she is.

I love that J was able to suggest changing the key and it ended up working, he loved and being the version they used. I also loved seeing the process of how they had to record more than once to get the sound they wanted. Behind the scenes is one of my favorite things to see from groups and artists, it's fun seeing what could've been and what they ended up going with. I'm so happy they started making recording behinds a thing in kpop, and I hope they'll continue to show more of the creative process

J is so versatile. She usually gets rap parts, but they gave her a part in the chorus. We usually know her for her low notes, but damn her high notes are really good too! Her range is great!
Her high notes were on point! I definitely understand why she wanted to lower her part after they changed the song and made it an octave higher. Stayc always sings live so it's better for J to feel more comfortable with her part.
But man, her high notes are great!

It’s so cool that the recordings of their songs seems to really be a collaborative process. I love the feedback going back and forth to come up with a song that sounds good and that would be comfortable to sing. J’s deeper voice in the final chorus is my favorite part of the song so it was really cool that it was her idea to sing it like that!! STAYC has some of the best vocals in the 4th gen I swear
I JUST COMMENTED SOMETHING LIKE THIS AB J'S PART! it's really cool to hear that it was her idea bc it complements well with how she started the song! she ended it so smooothly
that part really got me the goosebumps.. i love the first version too where sieun had her adlibs when J was singing at her original key.. but the second version really stayed in my mind..

@@WandaPutriLestari i think the reason is it's keep going high and higher which will not be good for them. they know ( the artist itself and the pd ) how to control their voice. we can't deny this is actually good but promotion is you know a long phase for idols so as stayc who's always singing live, it will be very hard to reach and to maintain. as you can see the guy ( pd ) is evaluating them very well which is good and never just let them do that because they think it's good. hoping for the release too like a special video or acoustic version but with this kind of settings. j's voice is such an art.

I think it's also because Stayc's arrangements in particular are so organic. I don't know if all groups assign parts like that, some feel very systematic as in a particular member gets boxed into a particular type of part and that's it.
the raw vocals are so beautiful sieun voice is gold and yoon adlibs is amazing, sumin parts was awesome, seeun totally so good, isa vocals and j was the best it's amazing how recording of beautiful monster is masterpiece

I like her voice the most in the group. It's very distinctive and pleasant on the high notes. Unlike Yoon, she hit a high note like she was screaming. The whole song is perfect except for Yoon's chorus. My mother was also annoyed when she heard that part.

That’s what I like about Rado producing songs… he doesn’t just gives part Willy-nilly. He doesn’t have a bias that he or the company wants to push. He simply records all of them and choose who fits what part best. That’s why all of Stayc’s music don’t have a focus- they all get some-what equal amount of lines & frame in the MV.
