Hi Olly the Leyland 245 would run the tedder to operate the pto clutch just use the hand lever and use the foot clutch for changing gear release the hand clutch slowly and when the reels are turning increase the engine revs to the desired speed select a forward gear and off you go
Wow Ollie that is a good purchase my family has two of those Tedder rakes that we run in a old Ford 3000 and that has been the best and most reliable price of kit we bought
Good to hear you like the 360. I've just picked one up myself for this season's hay, not used it yet. I believe the black gate goes on the right hand side of the machine when you're tedding, so you can adjust it to prevent the grass being chucked into the hedge when doing the headlands. You then put it on the left like in the video, for guiding it into the swath when the side curtain is down. Handy rhyme to know for haybobs is 'Down and out for tedding out, up and in for rowing in' - relating to the wheel position, and the tines... luckily there's a sticker explaining it instead!!
Olly I just finished watching Clarksons Farm and I have got to say I really feel about the UK farmers. We do have a lot of paperwork here in Macedonia as well but the sheer amount of paperwork needed in the UK is impossible to comprehend. I don't understand why does a farm need do have a accident book, if someone knows why this is can you clear it up for me.
It’s a shame, however there’s some really good apps now to help farmers so all you need to do when you’re out on the farm is fill in information on your phone which makes life a lot easier ;)
Great video Olly. Great piece of kit. Just finished watching all the episodes of Clarkson On The Farm it was fantastic made me laugh in parts. Keep up the great work buddy
You can get a free trial for 7 days which is more than enough to watch it, there's 8 episodes about 50 minutes long. If you have the time you can even binge it in one day.
Hi Olly, thanks for making this video when i see one of your videos come up it really makes me smile. I think it has got to be the Hilux because the land rover (i cant remember what type) was to new to get a second hand one😀 Have a great rest of your day everyone! Edit: I forgot you looked at a ranger, it is probably that because it is slightly older, and i would have recommended it to.
we have an older version of this tedder. you need 2 grey flags at the back so it makes swats in the middle of the machine. and in the front of the machine you have a red flag you need to put that upside down.
@@OllysFarmLtd you can also use just one flag on the back like it is set up in the video I have seen some people take rows one up and one down and put them both into one swat
Well it's funny to see Kuhn still market the good old Vicon Strela after all these years. Mediocre implement at best. Can do both. Good at nothing🤣 They bought an old Vicon/PZ factory including the technology in Holland. Still making these things, the balers and the (great) drum mowers years later.
Hello Olly was wondering if you sell boilersuits??? as i would be interested in buying one? Also what a fantastic video, keep up the good work and keep the videos coming. Martin from Nottingham
Great to see the Deere back in action Olly! I’m currently holidaying in St. Ives and enjoying a proper Cornish pasty and cider haha!! Have you been to a deer farm before? Quite a unique farm to visit in my opinion
That machine will make a great job of rowing up, why buy two machines for just a few days of the year, not doing hundreds of acres. Video rowing up please.
Great video, very interesting 👍

Hi Ollie I am a contract I refuse to bail behind a hay bobs because they make tiney rows and lump it up they are a absolt wast of time
We have the kuhn rake and tedder and the faster you go the better it spreads it alot nicer and doesn't leave all lumpie
You need a 70hp tractor for your small kit. We have a Kuhn 4 rotor tedder and a fellas single rotor rake which works well but that set up is not bad.
Wow Ollie that is a good purchase my family has two of those Tedder rakes that we run in a old Ford 3000 and that has been the best and most reliable price of kit we bought
loving the Jeremy Clarkson farm series and your channel Olly 👍

Are you happy with the Kuhn 360 Haybob?
@@johnfleming3308 yes, takes a bit of getting used to for use and setting up, but works well enough for a ‘do all’ machine.
Lovely old job
The 135 would be a lovely tractor for the hay Turner
Your gonna fall out of love with that haybob very quickly

I’m obsessed with it
The gate that is on the left side is when your rowing and if you have it on the right thats to know what swath your on in the field
I have been watching Clarkson’s farm I think I might have to demo a Lamborghini tractor 🤣
Haha, Deutz underneath ;)
@@OllysFarmLtd yes
as always the videos make me smile olly keep it up
Would love to watch it , sadly I don't have Amazon prime video

The Tedder I used to use (in my youth) had two “flags”. With them wide it would spread and then drawn together would row up ready for bailing 👍🏻
This is the new version of the old PZ zweegers... We used those machines littery 50 years ago😂😂
Old ways are the best ways sometimes:)
@@OllysFarmLtd they r a good job
The t5 is perfect for your lifestyle block, stop being so defence of those John deers it’s to big for your farm !

Your contractor is going to hate you rowing up with a hay bob 🤦♂️🤣
U should have just got a old pz haybob , it would have cost a lot cheaper. Videos are great quality, keep it up 👍
Olly you do the headlands right hand around so you are getting it out from the hedge 🚜🚜👍👍🇬🇧🇬🇧🏴🏴👌👌👩🌾🦌🐄👩🌾👩🌾
Great stuff olly you need a lot of kit now a days to farm
Looks very similar to mine, the gard should be should be on both sides. You have to turn the tines to the lower hole.
If you want a topper for the Leyland I'd suggest an old votex 9ft or 6ft absolutely bombproof and very simple
Great video Ollie you could of used the 135 on tedder if it was back very nice
we have an older version of this tedder. you need 2 grey flags at the back so it makes swats in the middle of the machine. and in the front of the machine you have a red flag you need to put that upside down.
Great thanks, I’ll do that today ;)
We used to have thepz 360 you change the gearbox so they both spin the same way and rake out to one side
@@OllysFarmLtd i can send you a picture on instagram how we do it if you want?
@@OllysFarmLtd you can also use just one flag on the back like it is set up in the video I have seen some people take rows one up and one down and put them both into one swat
When you get the 135 back you should put the Fleming topper on it
Get an old 4610 ford or mf 165 be perfect tool for both the tedder and the Fleming topper
And that haytedder be perfect for that 135
I love the vids keep up the good work. (:
It is hilarious 🤣
Interesting how many haybobs are there in the UK, here in Europe we mostly use separate tedders and windrowers
Didn’t know they were still used quite a bit ngl😂-I don’t know anyone in my area that uses a haybob mainly beacause they’re too small
@@gruffsco7695 yeah, I have seen none in Europe, there seem to be more on small UK farms, but yeah, it's small.. Atleast you have 2in1 :D

We were going to make hay but decided to do silage instead as our crop was so thick and heavy

Are you baling the hay or the contracts
Nice video
Hi Oli are you selling the Leyland... And how much aswell ?? Great vid like the new implement
135 could pull that when it comes back
Good idea, would suit it well ;)
It has got to be a Hilux, right? 😅
