There was really something to the emotional ferocity SMG4 put into that final blow against Mr. Puzzles. This was the being who:
-Corrupted SMG4 himself with a demonic keyboard he sent him, making him obsessed with creating the perfect video and causing him to lash out at his friends, and ending with the gang losing their old hangout, Peach’s castle, and Peach herself, to an eldritch abomination, effectively erasing their comfortable beginnings and forcing them to find a new place to call home
-Had them all trapped in a VR nightmare through equipment he gave One-Shot Wren, which led to Meggy being tormented psychologically when Wren murdered her over and over, just so he could have a worthy rival
-Caused Mario and Marty to become criminals by enticing them to steal SMG3’s secret notebook, which resulted in a heist to get it back decided by viewer votes
-And, of course, trapped them all into playing roles in productions of his own creation, brainwashing them in the process
Mr. Puzzles caused so much traumatic harm and suffering to SMG4 and his friends, and he saw it all as nothing but entertainment that he could direct. Even if he tried to claim he just wanted to make a good show, all he really cared about was being in control, no matter what it cost or who he hurt along the way…It’s small wonder, then, that SMG4 sent him flying like that, so that they’d hopefully never have to deal with him again.
I will say, though, he made for a very entertaining villain, and his song was incredibly catchy.
i hope we'll see him again, as for as much hate was put into that hit, smg4 could have easily have ended up exactly like Mr puzzles, the perfect show, so in a sense it'd be sad if we never see him again as, part of me sorta felt genuinely sad for him, sometimes dreams can become twisted and into nightmarish versions of what we first wanted, desperation turns people into monsters, and monsters make people desperate and the cycle continues
SMG4 is right to send Mr. Puzzles flying like that, this is basically retribution dor ALL the torture he put him and his gang for the sake of his sick desire for a "good TV show," and his villain song is one heck of a song! I recommend this in a future Top 10 Villain Songs (Non-Disney)

EXACTLY!!! IT’S LITERALLY SUCH A BOP
41:05 Yeah I’m really disappointed it was not Clench (which was my first guess too). Since Clench never showed up and Tari had regular control of both her arms (for the most part when Mr. Puzzles wasn’t moving her himself anyway). So I’m not sure what even the point of Clench’s introduction even was/is. Tari and Meggy didn’t even due much with the knowledge of channel 999 to help them get there. Meggy claimed to have an idea but then they only made it there because Bob and Bookins (mainly Bob) broke their shows letting them out and eventually the others.
Perhaps they're saving something for later.

Mr puzzles had a brief taste of a win which makes him the most successful villain out of all the specials and movie villains.

One thing I like to point out and saw on Twitter was SMG4 when shown his moments from the IGBP movie. Unlike Meggy, who was rather shaken up while putting on a brave face because all of those 'deaths' in the simulation from WS, SMG4 just looked away with a sad face. Even after everything ever since the movie, he still feels ashamed for what he put his friends and himself through ever since "SMG4... Are You Ok?". Not only was that episode what started his obsession with making the Perfect Video, but it was also the technical start of the whole Puzzlevision Saga. Not just an arc, a SAGA.
In both canon & non-canon videos, his drive and obsession to make said video grew bigger and bigger, having him push away everyone. And it all came to a head starting with "MAR10 Day" where when the Wi-Fi went down, he just SNAPPED. And the rest is history, the long 99-hour stream that led to the movie, the reason behind why SMG4 and even SMG3 during the YT Arc put themselves through the wringer, and how SMG4 accepted that not everything has to be "perfect". And that was only the precursor to events that would follow in the Saga...
And even now in Puzzlevision (movie), even though he's moved on, he still feels the weight of his actions instead of just forgetting that it happened. That's some character development with long-lasting continuity right there.

This film really was an experience. Even Gave me an idea for my AU even if wasn't related with the film. Besides, something funny that happenned is that my friends Smol Melony and Jed22EXE said that Mr. Puzzles was deseperated to obtain 5 stars while we have more than 100 in our wattpad stories.
I wonder which new surprises have Luke and the Glitch Team now that this guy was defeated.
Quite liked the movie. Feel like my favorite part are the parodies in a way of TV shows some even going all in. With this whole Puzzlevision stuff feel like it's the end of Mr Puzzles but it's something like he's just one villain and not even the biggest threat in this whole Puzzlevision story and this Puzzlevision story has a bigger threat than Mr Puzzles
Well kudos to Mr. Puzzles for having a banger Villian Song... And that's all he'll ever get from me.

He's been watching them and planning this for a little over a year; he is first shown as the tv adware virus that gives msg4 the keyboard in "its gotta be perfect"(proof of this being him is the music in the bg and the fact that the adware becomes the mr puzzles pizzeria logo in the scooby doo ripoff), although he is first seen physically in the ending of wotfi 2023 being unnamed at that time and if finally named in mario mysteries.
throughout that year he: Gave smg4 the cursed keyboard in Its gotta be perfect, gave wren that letter and might have helped with the simulation in western spaghetti and directed marty and mario to steal smg3's notebook. A cool thing that people noticed is that all of mr puzzles plans and things he is associated with are to do with perfection (those being perfect video, perfect world, perfect recipe and of course perfect show). There is also proof that he used to own the showgrounds and people have speculated that he purposefully destroyed peach's castle so they would be easier to control. Also given how the Tv used in the showgrounds was mr puzzles and it is shown that he can move around without making sound, Who knows what he could have been doing in smg4's castle.

@@benbarnett5743 Meggy was still inside Wren's simulation when he told his backstory, he could easily have shown her as well… but it really should have been explained (like a lot of things in that otherwise good movie)
@@Soufriere84 There's another possibility which may not be likely, but is worth thinking about. What's to say SMG4 was Mr Puzzles's first victim? We don't know how long Mr Puzzles has been targeting people and we know he specifically targets emotionally unstable people. Remember how Meggy went through a personal crisis during sunset paradise.
I like how you're one of the only reactors to truly understand the sheer potential of Mario, but GOD i wish the writers also understood that as well.
Kevin doesn't understand the potential of ANY of the characters he and Luke created except SMG's 4 & 3 (the latter probably only because I think James has a lot of say in how 3 gets portrayed)… and for some reason hiring more writers made it worse. Jury's also out on if Luke understands much of anything besides memes.

I believe Mr.Puzzles is not a single being, but a entity that exists as long as a Puzzlevision branded t.v exist he will be alive. This is because the liquid oozing out the t.v (Not at all Normal) and the “My head my rules” line

That victory felt easy. A little too easy if you ask me. I have a feeling Mr Puzzles is just lowering their guard so he can plan his next attack. I'm surprised that the crew weren't suspicious of how suspiciously easy his defeat was. With how built up he was, I doubt Mr Puzzles is gone for good.
While I do wish we got some answers as to how Meggy recognized his logo, glad to see Mr Puzzles get finished off in a fitting way. Honestly, he has now gained the new title of best villain the series. His whole character just radiates of realism induced horror as his goals aren't fantasy based at all
Well looks like Mr Puzzles will be back sometime in the near future though I do hope they take a break from him for awhile and bring him back in a surprising way. I got his ragdoll and holy hell is he tall
@@claytontessmer3566 I saw someone post a theory that the crew didn't actually leave the simulation but were gaslighted into thinking they did. He's intentionally gaslighting them into thinking they are now free from his terror. Mr Puzzles already finalized the episodes before Mario corrupted them, explaining why we see characters like Karen in the shows even though she was never targeted by Puzzles personally.
This ties in with another theory that Mr Puzzles was lying about why he wanted the crew. He didn't find their show to be stupid, but he knew that all of those characters were popular meaning they could help him make money by profiting off their adventures.
There's another fact I should mention. Remember how Mr Puzzles states that Puzzlevision is an in universe show made to satisfy his programming's audience. The question is, who could this audience be? Well, prepare for a deep analysis, because the audience he's referring to are US, the viewers. Ever since IGTBP, Puzzles has been hijacking the channel and inspecting us to see what we enjoy about these characters. That's why he brought them to the showgrounds was so he could put them in a place where they are unknowingly under his control. He's setting SMG4 and his crew up for danger because it's entertainment, specifically entertainment he knows the audience will consume. Mr Puzzles hired One Shot Wren and Marty to start of WS and WOTFI 2023 as specials for us to consume, not caring about how the characters were affected mentally. Mr Puzzles wanted to see why these characters resonate with us to see if we would like the specials. We loved these specials which allowed him to control the channel, but Mr Puzzles failed to understand the bigger reason we resonate with these characters.
If you thought it was over, the rabbit hole goes even deeper because I think the Mario we saw wasn't the real one. Rather, it is an imposter of Mario that Mr Puzzles made so no one would question his absence. Mr Puzzles based this Mario off of how he believed the crew viewed him; a wild unpredictable animal. The real Mario is still out there fighting off Mr Puzzles because he knows the war isn't over yet. This Mario in the movie is more of a clone Mr Puzzles made based on how the crew sees him. Sort an imperfect clone, but still capable of passing off as the real one.

@@claytontessmer3566 There's a theory I have that Mr Puzzles might have been lying about his backstory due to how smarmy he acted when reciting it and that he never explains why he was lonely.
To me, I don't think he was lonely because he bullied, but rather, he WAS a bully in his youth. This is prevalent in how he treats the crew too where he acts like a typical schoolyard bully. He acts all smug when he has the upper hand, flaunts his power in the crew's faces, treats everyone like shit, throws tantrums when things don't go his way, and will retreat once his victims get the upper hand. Also, for someone who claims to want to make a good show for everyone, Mr Puzzles has a big issue of plagiarizing already existing shows and barely doing anything new. Don't even give me the whole "he's respecting by plagiarizing" because outright has and never will be considered respect. Loners actively avoid plagiarism because they wouldn't have anyone to back up with when people call them out. On top of that, Mr Puzzles calls SMG4's show the stupidest thing he's seen even though his shows are LITERALLY the same thing as SMG4's bloopers, but with tv shows instead of games.
Notice too that Mr Puzzles only says "I just wanted to make a good show" AFTER he loses his power. He was saying that out of remorse, but as a pathetic attempt to pull out the victim card which didn't work cause SMG4 was rightfully angry. Mr Puzzles is basically what you'd call a Hollywood hack. He acts all pathetic and weak when he's not in a position of power, but once he is in a position of higher power, he does a 180 and acts like a tyrant, bullying those who dare to go against him
I even believe in the theory that MR Puzzles had a hand in the Lawsuit arc. For starters, there are just so many plotholes in that storyline. If Lawyer Kong and Nintendo knew about SMG4's channel, why did they wait 10 years to take action?I think Mr Puzzles told them about SMG4's channel and said that if they could take down his channel, he would be open to collaborating with the crew.
As for other parts though, look at the letter Nintendo supposedly sent to SMG4. It's delivered by being swiped under his door rather than through a mailbox. It's very likely Nintendo never sent that letter, but Mr Puzzles did to make it look like SMG4 was in trouble.
Let's also look at Lawyer Kong's character. Something just told me that he was either not acting out of his own volition or he was working for someone other than Nintendo. For starters, there are times where he breaks character for no reason. Initially, Lawyer Kong is presented as this stern lawyer who has little to no sense of humor and hates memes with a passion. However, in one episode, he says a your mom joke which goes against what he said about his goals since your mom is technically a meme. That's not getting into his defeat which even the crew were weirded out by. It's weird how Lawyer Kong just gives up after WOTFI 2022. I think the defeat was intentionally anticlimatic as the crew gave the adware what he wanted; a good show.
The biggest part though is the fire wall. Remember how I mentioned the weirdness of Francis seemingly gaining an island and machine in one week with it being unlikely that he did it all by himself? There's a similar scenario in the lawsuit arc. You expect me to think that Lawyer Kong constructed a wall that not is not only indestructible, but capable of rewriting people's memories, all by himself? Not even Zero could do something like this and I doubt Nintendo made the wall either.

He technically was if being Tari's arm counts as being in an episode but him talking yeah a bit suprised he didn't say a word in the movie
This movie felt like an anticlimactic way to end Puzzlevision.
It just didn’t feel like a movie compared to stuff like Revelations, it’s gotta be perfect and western spaghetti.

@@nighton8223 Nah, the smarmy way he talked indicates to me was lying. Plus, for someone who wants to make a "Good show for everyone", Mr Puzzles doesn't have originality as he tends to rehash already existing tv shows with few modifications.
On top of that, if he wanted the crew to star in his shows, why couldn't he just go to them directly for auditions?

I liked the movie but I have two complaints
1. You didn't have to kill puzzles like that (He'd better make a return in like a year or so)
and 2. all that buildup of Mario being the one to save everyone, all those hints of him being the key to stopping puzzles, all the excitement I had over Mario FINALLY being the one to save the crew And stop the villain instead of just saving the crew for an episode and having the entire crew beat the villain..... and what does he do in puzzlevision.
He gets some hits in on puzzles, pisses about for 5 minutes, saves the crew for 2 minutes, AND DOESNT EVEN SHOW UP FOR THE FINAL BATTLE.
ALL THAT BUILDUP AND HE'S SOMEHOW EVEN LESS OF A HERO THAN IN THE OTHER ARCS

Even if Mario is supposed to be the only one to escape and his friends only hope, he really does nothing, in fact, he doesn't even do the final blow to defeat Mr Puzzles, which would make more sense as the only reason Mario was hunting him is because he didn't let Mario watch TV, SMG4 really didn't have a reason to do the final blow
2. This movie has an excessive amount of comedy and memes, the movie is supposed to be serious as the SMG4 gang (except Mario) was trapped in Mr Puzzles simulation, there was no time for "Pingas" and "I'm coming for that ass, boi", sure, the last movies did the same, but this one is just too much
3. Mr Puzzles isn't taken very seriously, like, 15:13 BRUH, YOU ARE POWERFUL ENOUGH TO STOP MARIO'S RAMPAGE , *WHY ARE YOU RUNNING LIKE A LITTLE GIRL?!?* And don't even get me started on 46:42, BRUH, SMG4 *HAD* TO PUT AN IMAGE OF AN BABY CRYING!?! This treatment not only makes Mr Puzzles look like another weaker Eldritch SMG0, but also makes his role a joke, if they are going to throw jokes on him, AT LEAST MAKE HIM PART OF THE CREW OR JUST DON'T MAKE HIM THE ANTAGONIST

Even the Rapper Bob arc is more enjoyable to watch than this as Bob is supposed to not be taken that serious, in fact, THIS COULD BE EVEN *BETTER* if it was an WOTFI

@@Strawberric well, yeah, It's gotta be perfect and Western spaghetti does have funny moments, but not all the time, unlike this movie, seriously, this feels more like a compilation than an actual SMG4 movie
