I just purchased my Sana 727 as a birthday present to myself and received it 7 days ago. I've probably already made a gallon and a half of juice, using carrots, celery, red bell peppers, romaine lettuce, cucumbers, ginger, and gala apples. I tried the higher speeds as a test, but now use the slowest speed for everything. It's easy to clean, and the juice is fantastic. I have a vacuum sealer and pumped the air out, but there was no air bubbling out of the liquid at all, unlike your demonstration with another juicer. I'm totally happy with this. I have had a Champion juicer for decades, but I'll be selling that now. I believe this is the best juicer on the market.
Back in 2008 I bought an omega VERT from your site and it still works till this day and it changed my life. My next juicer is going to be this one. Thank you so much for all you do!
I received the Sana 727 yesterday! I received it just 6 days after I ordered it from Discountjuicers! It is amazing! The packaging was perfect, then after opening the Red Sana 727 it is beautiful! Easy to clean and easy to put together! I'm so glad I returned the Solostar4 to Amazon and bought the Sana from John! It is so quiet on the 40rpm! I juiced as fast as I could get the vegetables cleaned. I juiced Carrots,Celery,Romaine,Apples,Ginger,Cucumber and they all juiced so easy, some were self feeding! So I'm a very happy juicer! It is definitely worth the $$! Thank you John Kohler!
So the Sana 727 arrived today. I am blown away with this juicer. I juice 1100g of celery daily in a vacuum blender which gave me 32 Oz of juice. The 727 gives me 30 Oz on the lowest speed. That is incredible for a single auger juicer! 😊 The dual hopper makes in easy to feed in leafy greens and berries etc and the variable speed motor is a great addition. You can choose the pace you want to go at. I will mostly use the lowest speed to get the highest yield and nutrition. The best juicer I've owned and I've owned an Omega NC800 Sana 808 and an Angel Juicer so that is saying a lot! 😊
Mark, thank YOU for the comparison of the Vac blender vs 727. Wow! I didnt know the difference was so slow. Sometimes I dont want to "vacuum juice" and strain, and I will use a juicer.
@@decathlete2000 The Angel will get a slightly higher yield but I prefer using the Sana 727. It's also about half the price. It's the best single auger horizontal juicer, but you could also just get an Omega NC900 which is a very nice juicer with a 15 year warranty.
Thank you John! Update: Thanks again for this review, John! I am enjoying my Sana 727 juicer, but was confused about which speed to use for celery. The owner's manual suggests juicing celery on speed 3. I prefer the slowest speed, but because of the manual instructions, I was confused about which speed was appropriate for celery. Seems it's a matter of personal preference. I'm with you...I'll juice celery on the slowest speed from now on! Your test results were extremely helpful to me :) Take care :)
Just bought this juicer last week after seeing John's comparison videos, and it is amazing. I came from using a centrifugal LaLanne Power Juicer Express the past 5 yrs. Juicing leafy greens in this thing is phenomenal, but it also juices hard vegetables amazingly too. Cleanup is insanely easy and quick. I will be saving money in the long run due to the yield I get with this. I juice mostly veggies, not much fruit. Thanks John for all the comparison videos, you helped me choose the right juicer for me.
I use both the Sana 727 and the Sana 848, the Sana 727 is one of the best for greens and the Sana 848 does so well with juicing celery fast, as well as grapefruit and the sorbet. I love my Sana 727 Supreme thanks to you!!! Yes celery juice is so energizing and so speedy in this amazing slow juicer! I am beyond the moon in love with it!!! I live fresh juice only so it is perfect for me many times a day!!!
I have a J2 and I am very happy with it having used a champion for over 40 years .... the J2 does not create foam at all I’ve done straight carrot juice and green drinks with apples or pineapple for flavor and it produces high quality foam free excellent tasting juice and I find it easy to clean once you get used to it
Hey John, I know people want you to do more tests with different produce and different juicers than is humanly possible, but would you consider trying straight pineapple in this thing at low and high speeds? Pineapple alone does not usually work very well in horizontal single auger machines, so it would be interesting to see how this beast handles the challenge.
While the sana 727 may be able to better handle pineapple than other single auger juicers, I would recommend a vertical juicer for pineapple. It is most important to select HARD and FIRM pineapple for best results.
Hi John- does the 727 yield considerably more juice than the 848? I will be doing a mixture of kale, celery, apples, cukes, carrots. Mainly super healthy stuff with a little fruit to sweeten it up. I REALLY want the better motor of the 727. But like the design, clean up and the fact that the 848 come with the vacuum container. I thought I was leaning toward the 848 cause of the nut butter idea but you have to add oil to your nuts. Not interested in adding extra fat to my nut butters. Basically if the 848 had the DC motor and I was told that the yield is super close, I would have purchased the 848 from you yesterday:) Comparison of the 848 vs 727? Thanks for your help! Also any coupon code’s available?
What is yield? Im purchasing mine TODAY thanks for the info I canceled my order on amazon so i can order through your website! Thanks again and I also shared your video with a friend
I juice mostly leafy greens. Probably 80% leafy greens and 20% fruits. I do like to batch juice but considering what I do juice, do you think I should get the new J2 or the 727?
For 80% leafy greens, I would go with the 727, as the Nama While it will juice them, it will create more foam than the 727 at 40 rpm. That being said, the Nama will be "easier" as you just load up the hopper and walk away. The 727 is more quiet. If you had a fruit dominated % then the J2 would be a better option, IMO.
John! I bought this juicer from you. It's great but I would consider another one for my 2nd location. Please explain if there is a real difference between 40 and 50 rpm? Do we 'cook' enzymes at 50 rpm?
Thank you John!! I just bought the Tribest for $399.00 because you gave it a great review. I haven’t received it yet-- how do you compare the new Sana to Tribest?
Hello John, another great review! Thank you. How does it compare to the current Nama? Also i’d really appreciate your opinion on choice of a commercial juicer brand, do you think good nature is the best? The way their juicers work sort of remind me of the “pure juicer.” Because of the high speed blending prep it requires i keep wondering if the quality of it’s juice qualifies to be called “cold pressed”
The Sana 727 and Nama J2 represent the latest juicing technology. (and are actually made in the Same Factory!) They each have their own sets of pros and cons. Clearly for wheatgrass I would not recommend the J2, but would recommend the 727. For fruits, I would say go with the J2, not the 727. It just depends. Stay tuned for my 727 vs j2 video that will be out within the next few months. On a commercial juicer, I prefer the www.discountjuicers.com/kuvingsmasterchef.html
Hey John, two things when I juiced celery with my Sana I did use the second speed and the pulp was wet, should I have used the first speed?. also Sana has a vacuum pump, can you show us how that works?
As I show in this video the slower speed will result in dryer pulp, and more juice. You can always try to run the pulp back thru the juicer a second time to get it rung out even dryer.
I've watched all of John's amazing videos that he has so far on Nama J2, Sana 727, and Kuvings REVO830. I've checked his website, the manufacturer websites and online reviews from people who've bought them. I'll be looking for videos from others too. But after a lot of research and thought, I'm saving for Sana 727 and I'm happy with that choice. Do your research so you pick the one you'll be happy with. John, I'll buy from you when I'm ready. I have to sell the juicer I have that I've never used ;-)
Wow. Very impressive juicer. Good thing I don't have any room in my kitchen for any more gadgets. My Omega NC 800 is still going strong after 5 years of ownership....I guess I'll think about selling it in a year or giving away to family and getting this. Red is also my favorite color. 😍 I'm interested to see how this juicer performs with tougher root vegetables and Wheatgrass
HAAA, I totally agree with you. I too have the Red Omega NC 800 for the past 5.5 years and love it. My friend just bought this Sana 727 and told her I sure hope I love hers too much, I can't afford $700 juicer right now!
I’ve juiced everything from carrots to beets and even did wheatgrass yesterday. Nothing got tangled up and it eats those tougher root veggies right up. I haven’t had to reverse or auto reverse this thing yet and I juice multiple times daily
@@froger3582 I’ve tried pineapple. It handles it pretty well. No leaky wet pulp like I’ve seen in other videos. Haven’t tried sorbets yet though but I’m sure it will handle frozen veggies no problem.
@@thall785 good to know, thx. I’ve been on the fence between this juicer and the NamaJ2. After watching this video and others, plus the warranty, I’ll be getting 727.
what slow horizontal juicer would be best for jucing coconut cream/milk ?? i had a vertical but i wna upgrade to some better, was thinking of Tribest SoloStar 4 slowjuicer or should i go to the higher classes of tribest ?
This juicer has a number of disadvantages: 1. the tip cannot cope with fiber, it is wound around the screw and it is often difficult to clean this because the manufacturer does not provide that this is necessary. 2. it is absolutely not suitable for celery, of course it is suitable, but it is pure torture. my juice therapy ends with endless washing of this machine, which turned my morning into agony. It’s a pity, it looks great, for this price you expect a little something different and yes, Sana’s customer service does not have the uniqueness that is being said, they simply do not answer emails! I don't recommend it at all.
John Do you know if in the Sana 727, it can be used with hard vegetables such as beets, carrots, sweet potatoes, etc. at speed 1 (40rpm) or it is a lot of punishment for the motor, because the manufacturer says that they should go at speed 3
The Juicer can be run at any speed you would like. When you do run at a lower RPM, you will need to SLOW down when feeding produce into the machine, or it will auto-reverse on you. This is a DC motor, so it should have PLENTY of torque to handle the roots at a lower rpm. That being said, for BEST results, Sana USA recommends using the juicer at the recommended speeds which is stated in the instruction manual. If you choose to use a different RPM, your results may vary.
I would like to purchase Sana Supreme Juicer 727 being that Black Friday is approaching will there be a discount code or for cyber Monday I don’t want to lose out on any discount?
Where do you find out how good the after sales service is by the seller/manufacturer.??? Does anyone have a ratings table of service. I am unable to get any feed back from OMEGA. ... They are asleep at the switch.
I do not presently. Champion is no longer making juicers at this point, and the champion uses 1950s juicing technology that is a bit outdated, but it still works. The Sana 727 at 40 rpm makes a significantly more nutritious juice in my opinion, as the champion will add more oxygen into the juice as it is juicing.
Hi John From the UK. I use my 727 to juice celery daily. It can sometimes clog with the long fibres getting wrapped around the cutting end piece depending on the quality of celery available. I have had to resort to cutting into small chunks. I would love to see a comparison between this and the MM900. Also when using the oil attachment, the machine goes into autoreverse or shut off which is a problem with this machine I think. Any advice on this would be welcomed. Thanks
I'm i the UK too and have been thinking of buying this juicer. I juice a lot of celery and to hear that the end piece gets clogged is worrying! That would be a deal breaker for me if this is the case. Maybe i'll go for the Nama J2 when it becomes available over here, i'm told early next year.
@@2711marcus most of the time the cutting of celery resolves the problem. And its still an amazing juicer with a great yield and easy to clean. The nama J2 is a vertical which would also require cutting. I had the VSJ843 which was also vertical but the cleaning time put me off it. The nama J2 also looks extremely high so there would be limited places for it to sit on my counter. I had the same problem with a Kuvings EVO820.
@@sunilparmar7012 Thank you for your reply. I think the point of the J2 is that it does the pre cutting for you but I take your point about the cleaning that is the one concern I have that I will get fed up of it 😄
@@2711marcus precutting isn't a big deal..it takes only a few seconds when you stack the celery together and it can be done whilst the juicer is processing the other stalks. Also i find cutting allows it to process the stalks faster. Cleaning needs to be done well otherwise it affects the performance of the machine if the screen isn't thoroughly cleaned. Cleaning the vertical juicer parts takes time and makes juicing less enjoyable for me. I think the motor on this machine is what sets it apart from the any other. Its a horizontal but can do varying speeds and can run without overheating which will be the best for longevity. I would go with this. If not this I would go with another horizontal such as an EUJ606 or 707. The 707 looks much nicer but the 606 has the end cap nozzle to maximise yield.
Would this replace your Omega VSJ tho - if so , Ill upgrade also Such a simple customer specific design too. Why cant I make my speed variable. such a great answer.
Each juicer has its own set of pros and cons. For some reasons I prefer a vertical, for others the Horizontal. I can say the Nama J2 and the Sana 727 are the two juicers that are at the peak of Single Auger Juicing Technology. I prefer the easy cleaning of the 727 over the nama. I am planning a comparison video :)
Which juicer works best for celery, cucumber, apples and leafy greens would you suggest the new j2 juicer from nama or the Sana 727 juicer and is the Sana juicer bpa free on the plastic parts im looking to upgrade my juicer I have now .
Each one has their own set of pros and cons. I prefer the 727 because the cleaning takes me 90 seconds. The J2 takes me about 5 minutes to clean. The 727 WILL be faster to make juice at the higher speed than the j2. the Sana 727 will also make a HIGHER quality juice with less foam/air when used at 40 rpm than the J2 that will add more air into the juice, IMO. Of course, the J2 makes juicing easy, so dont have to push the produce into the juicer. So it just depends on you. The 727 will be more quiet running than the J2. The 727 has a full 15 yr warranty on the entire machine, and the J2 has a 15 yr warranty on the motor, but only 2 years on the parts, although Nama says they will ensure their customers at satisfied after the 2 years, but there is nothing on paper to this extent. The J2 is also a much larger juicer. The 727 also has the option to make nut butter, frozen fruit sorbet and cold pressed oil with the optional oil extractor. The Nama J2 is only designed to make juice only. YES! 727 is bpa free.
@@huitrecouture Well, if Omega actually lived up to their warranty promises, probably no one would look at this. I know many people who threw away brand new Omegas because no one at the company will answer their calls for warranty issues.
@@MrJ.31 how long have u had ut kuvjngs? I'm looking to buy a juicer but I'm so confused. First John stated he love the vsj843 n it' is his favorite. Now he will say another thing. Confused bad I am.
@@tanshievlogs about 2 years. I personally love it cause it always gives me really good yield, has a great warranty, and is pretty fast with both juicing and cleanup. I really can't complain at all about my experience with it. I've had a chance to use a few juicers from Tribest, Omega, and Hurom and for me the Kuvings was my preference. It really depends on what you want from the juicer and what you mostly plan on juicing. The Kuvings, Hurom and Omega vertical juicers do a good job with pretty much everything overall, especially if you're adding fruits to the mix but if you are mostly doing a leafy juice it won't give you as much yield as a horizontal juicer, but again I've found that the horizontal juicers don't yield as much as verticals with mostly fruit juices. Cleanup is easy for the most part on both of those types of units. Twin gear juices like an Angel or the Tribest Greenstars typically make the highest juice yields overall plus you can make things like pasta with them as well. The only downside with those is that the cleanup takes a little bit longer. The parts were easy and quick but cleaning some of the tight spaces with hands as big as mine was not a picnic. Tribest, Kuvings, and Omega all offer at least 10 year warranties on all parts plus the unit so the coverage is good. Honestly IMO you can't go wrong with a juicer from any of those brands. If you want a good overall experience then look at the Kuvings or Omega vertical juicers, if you want the highest amount of juice yield and alot of versatility and the cleanup doesn't bother you then check out the Tribest Greenstars, and if you want a juicer that does the best job at primarily leafy greens while not taking up much headspace then check out the single gear horizontal juicers like the Tribest Solostar 4 and Omega NC800/900. You really can't go wrong with any of them. Hope that helps

If you have watched his videos for years, then you should already know his position on the Angel juicer. Bottom line, Angel has no interest in providing customer support in the United States.
The $999 price is for the kit with the optional oil extractor. The juicer is less expensive without it. That being said, you get what you pay for, and as I exclaim first thing in this video, this juicer is not for everyone. It's for people that want to have the best and latest technology with unlimited run time and easy cleaning.
The j2 saves “some” time on your prep. You will spend more time cleaning on the j2. The j2 also pumps more air into the juice. Air equals oxidation and flavor loss. However. The best juicer for “you” is the juicer you will use.
Its not virtually the same. The MM900 is also a single auger juicer like the Sana 727, but that is where the similarities end.. The MM900 is made in China, the Sana 727 in S. Korea. The 727 has a motor that cost 3x more than the MM900 and has no run time limit. The MM900 has a 30 minute usage time limit. The 727 has a unique anti-jam feature so it will automatically reverse should you overload the juicer. The MM900 requires you to manually press the reverse and then forward button. The 727 has a unique cutting blade that presses out the produce a 2nd time before it is ejected, the MM900 relies on a higher pressure green silicone gasket that will generate more heat in the pulp and juice and cause more oxidation of the juice. I am planning a MM900 vs Sana 727 so I can better explain the difference.

I thought I was leaning toward the 848 cause of the nut butter idea but you have to add oil to your nuts. Not interested in adding extra fat to my nut butters. Basically if the 848 had the DC motor and I was told that the yield is super close, I would have purchased the 848 from you yesterday:)
Comparison of the 848 vs 727?
Thanks for your help! Also any coupon code’s available?
What is yield? Im purchasing mine TODAY thanks for the info I canceled my order on amazon so i can order through your website! Thanks again and I also shared your video with a friend
I juice mostly leafy greens. Probably 80% leafy greens and 20% fruits. I do like to batch juice but considering what I do juice, do you think I should get the new J2 or the 727?
This exactly what I've been contemplating
For 80% leafy greens, I would go with the 727, as the Nama While it will juice them, it will create more foam than the 727 at 40 rpm. That being said, the Nama will be "easier" as you just load up the hopper and walk away. The 727 is more quiet. If you had a fruit dominated % then the J2 would be a better option, IMO.
John! I bought this juicer from you. It's great but I would consider another one for my 2nd location. Please explain if there is a real difference between 40 and 50 rpm? Do we 'cook' enzymes at 50 rpm?
I am interested in buying the Sana 727 juicer. How can I get I get the discount. I love your presentation.
Good job John.
awesome video. SOLD! thanks John.
I wonder if there any problems with juice entering the motor via the connection to the auger? Would the gasket/seal need periodic replacement?
Thank you John!! I just bought the Tribest for $399.00 because you gave it a great review. I haven’t received it yet-- how do you compare the new Sana to Tribest?
can i extract olive oil with the sana 727 ?
How to order Sana 727 from Canada?
I have to sell the juicer I have that I've never used ;-)
Thanks Julie. I am glad I can make videos where I compare the different machines so you can determine the best juicer for you and your needs.
Wow. Very impressive juicer. Good thing I don't have any room in my kitchen for any more gadgets. My Omega NC 800 is still going strong after 5 years of ownership....I guess I'll think about selling it in a year or giving away to family and getting this. Red is also my favorite color. 😍
I'm interested to see how this juicer performs with tougher root vegetables and Wheatgrass
@@thall785 thinking of getting the 727 as well. Have you tried pineapple yet? Or fruit sorbet?
@@froger3582 I’ve tried pineapple. It handles it pretty well. No leaky wet pulp like I’ve seen in other videos. Haven’t tried sorbets yet though but I’m sure it will handle frozen veggies no problem.
@@thall785 good to know, thx. I’ve been on the fence between this juicer and the NamaJ2. After watching this video and others, plus the warranty, I’ll be getting 727.

Hi John...I'm looking for a juicer that's high end on the nutritional yield. Is this one up there in nutrient output?
Thank you sir
what slow horizontal juicer would be best for jucing coconut cream/milk ?? i had a vertical but i wna upgrade to some better, was thinking of Tribest SoloStar 4 slowjuicer or should i go to the higher classes of tribest ?
Request for Sana versus Solostar 4 !
Which type of juicer is best for juicing cucumber? My lil cheap aicok horizontal juicer leaves the pulp really wet.
don't recommend it at all.
What juicer would you recommend for wheatgrass
I would recommend a single horizonal juicer for juicing wheatgrass. The Sana 727 would be great for juicing wheatgrass.
Discounts only for America? What about Europe an UK?
John
Do you know if in the Sana 727, it can be used with hard vegetables such as beets, carrots, sweet potatoes, etc. at speed 1 (40rpm) or it is a lot of punishment for the motor, because the manufacturer says that they should go at speed 3
Very stylish looking juicer 😊 I wonder if it gets a similar yield to the Omega MM900.
will compare the mm900 and 727 in an upcoming video
I would like to purchase Sana Supreme Juicer 727 being that Black Friday is approaching will there be a discount code or for cyber Monday I don’t want to lose out on any discount?
Great review, would have been better if you’ve shown other sample to juice besides celery…
Do you do any discounts on juicers during Black Friday ?
Where do you find out how good the after sales service is by the seller/manufacturer.??? Does anyone have a ratings table of service. I am unable to get any feed back from OMEGA. ... They are asleep at the switch.
I can say Sana USA has the best customer service from my observations and customer feedback. I can say from feedback, Omega is near the bottom.
Hi John, do you have video comparing Champion juicer 2000 and the Sana 727 Supreme? I'd like to see it. Thank you,
Champion is dead .. nobody is buying champion Juicers
Thanks John =)
Hi John
From the UK.
@@sunilparmar7012 Thank you Sunil :)
Damn, can you get the end cap without the metal grinder? Those parts oxidize, I'm not looking to add metals into my juice :(
Not at this time. The juicing screen has some stainless steel in it already even if you did not have the stainless cutter at the end.
Does it work for Wheatgrass?
Yes, the 727 can easily juice wheatgrass
Would this replace your Omega VSJ tho - if so , Ill upgrade also
Such a simple customer specific design too.
NEVER ... I was lucky I was able to sell it to someone for the same price
Can you juice ginger?
yes, the 727 makes it saw dust dry ua-cam.com/video/urwO7qFUwBs/v-deo.html
Kuvings and good?
To me Kuvings is fantastic. The Elite C7000 has never given me any issues and consistently gives good results
@@MrJ.31 how long have u had ut kuvjngs? I'm looking to buy a juicer but I'm so confused. First John stated he love the vsj843 n it' is his favorite. Now he will say another thing. Confused bad I am.
@@tanshievlogs do what he said and buy the Omega VSJ, replace only the spinning brush with the one from OMEGA SANA EUJ-808
I have the Evo 820, and extremely satisfyied with it. If you have any precise question, please ask.

Omega mm900 HDS slow horizontal juicer is virtually the same with similar auger and screen, for less money. I find it is excellent for celery.
Lol. Not the same!
sana 727 the worst shape in the world. im shure dont by it
