Spray bottle with water will teach Kevin to stay off the counters. The water does not hurt them. It’ll only take one spray, 2 to 3 times, and then all you’ll have to do is show the water bottle to him and he’ll run. Great recipes!!

I use that Chive and Onion cream cheese everyday. I can actually eat it absolutely plain. I also dip my French fries in it, put it on pizza, in a baked potato (that’s really good). My point is that the Chive and Onion cream cheese is the bomb.

I saw at least 5 times he was in the food, she picks him up then puts him down and not once did she was her hands. I suspected her behavior when I first started watching her videos. Now I know the truth. I won't be watching any more. And will never knowingly eat her food. WASH YOUR HANDS!!!!!!

I use the grocery frozen burritos, sometimes beef & cornmeal taquitas. Make it often. Going to make the cinnamon roll casserole tonight for dessert! It's great. 😊
My daughter had that problem with her 2 kittens , so she bought a peddlestool covered with carpet with a small 7×7 square on top covered with carpet , she sets it away from the island and counters but to where he can see what you are doing , they jump on it and watch her , she said in the beginning that she would put things around the edges of the island and counters , so they couldn't jump there , and they learned to use the peddlestool to watch her , Kevin's cute 😉 P.S. the peddlestool is as tall as your island and counters
I am a retired chef and I live your cooking shows. However from one person who lives good food and loves to cook good food to another. I loved your beautifully put together appetizers and I know they are tasty. A friendly reminder please when you have animals please put them in another room and make sure they cannot get into the kitchen when you are preparing food. It is not only unsanitary but it is also unsafe for them when you are handling hot dishes. And always wash your hands! Great Great show!❤❤❤
Well, when you use the cat's bowl to cook, chances are the cat is going to want to see what's in the bowl. Do you not have a sink with running water to wash your hands after handling the cat ...not once... but 3 times. Note to self...never except an invitation to eat at Kristin's house!!

Just FYI- you need to wash your hands before returning to cooking after handling a pet or touching something that isn’t the food. It’s pure safety for you and whomever you may be serving. Because you contaminated, I believe it was the pizza pockets, you were making when the cat jumped up on the counter.
Love Velveeta and I usually do Velveeta with Rotel and Nally's chunky chili. I make this for family... friends parties, and everybody goes crazy for that dip! Just some corn chips on the side to scoop it up with.😁

There's lots of comments about the cat but a couple of things are missing about this topic. There's no excuse for it constantly being on your counter when you had someone else in the room to hold or remove it out of the kitchen. It's not just gross factor about your poor cooking hygiene habits. Cats are one of the worst carriers of diseases for humans. There's 13 in total.. one is..They carry urine and feces from their litter box at all times. Because of this they constantly carry a disease called Toxoplasmosis, which infects our brains, lungs making us extremely ill and can kill you. So the cat's hair in her food is the least of the worries.
A quick dip is 1-2 cans of no beans chili with one to two pkgs of cream cheese- put all into a bowl microwave the dish stir to mix up and serve with big scoops corn chips or whatever you like. Enjoy 😊
I make this but I put cream cheese on bottom of glass baking dish then chili on top of cream cheese then top with shredded cheese & put in 400° oven for 10-15 minutes until cheese is melted

Hey Kristin (amd friends)! I saw on previous videos you sometimes take recipe suggestions. I have to share my variation of the viral oreo cookie dump cake with you. I made it today and it is top tier. I call it peanut butter cookie cake: You need: 1 standard casserole 9 x 13 casserole dish 1 package tollhouse chocolate chip cookie dough mix 1 can of sweetened condensed milk 1 8 Oz container of cool whip About 6 spoon fulls of peanut butter. 1 package of yellow cake mix. 1 1/2 stick of butter. Preheat oven to 350. Grease the bottom of your dish with butter Add one layer of cookie dough mix to the bottom and pat down Cover that layer with the sweetened condensed milk Cover that with the 8 ounces of cool whip Dollop 6 spoonfuls of peanut butter over the cool whip Cover in your cake mix. Add butter pats to the top like a normal dump cake. Cook for anywhere from 40-50 minutes and enjoy!
Rachael....wait....you add cool whip to the cake before you put it in the oven?? Never heard of that, I only use cool whip as topping for already baked cakes or as filling for no bake cakes like the layered cookie refrigerater cakes.

Not being rude but clinical: cats with that much hair shed every time they move. When I was little, my gmother wouldn't let us go to any social gathering without making sure we understood that we could only eat what she brought. She could not be sure how others handled their kitchens or how they cooked. This is a great example why!!

I try and defend people when potluck time come up.. but come on , I’ve changed my mind .. she didn’t washer her hands.. I’ve had cats and now have dogs.. the cats never got on the counter while I was cooking.. my dogs get looked at funny if they walk in the kitchen while I’m cooking.. 🤢 😩🤦🏽♀️

My Mom and I make a Velveeta cheese dip. It has Velveeta , fried onions (as many as you like), tomatoes, peppers( if you like). Melt Velveeta in microwave Can put a little milk or cream in it. Sautéed onions on stove til translucent. Add a little pepper. Also sautéed in oil or ghee. Tomatoes use the canned or can use fresh and roast them in oven it's more flavor. Peppers can do same with roasting in oven. I don't use peppers but my mom does. You can put whatever spices you like. Garlic powder is good in it. You can also sautéed garlic. The fast way if you like salsa is put your favorite salsa into the melted Velveeta. I don't like salsa to much so I make my own lol.
If you put tin foil on your counters… especially at night when cats tend to roam… he will jump up on the foil and it will make a noise that will scare him but not hurt him. It should only take a time or two and he wont attempt it any more. They are smart!! Worth a try!! It worked for my daughter’s nosey rosey kitty!!
Exactly add in a brand new spray bottle with water in it. Spray him & tell him a very firm NO. Soon all you'll need to do is pick up the water bottle or a bottle & shake it. They'll disappear fast. Unless the cat loves water then you're screwed using the water bottle lol.

I tried foil on the counters and it didn't work. It did help around my larger house plant pots to stop them from digging. Let me know if you figure it out. Great appetizers.

Just FYI- you need to wash your hands before returning to cooking after handling a pet or touching something that isn’t the food. It’s pure safety for you and whomever you may be serving. Because you contaminated, I believe it was the pizza pockets, you were making when the cat jumped up on the counter.
Love Velveeta and I usually do Velveeta with Rotel and Nally's chunky chili. I make this for family... friends parties, and everybody goes crazy for that dip! Just some corn chips on the side to scoop it up with.😁

There's lots of comments about the cat but a couple of things are missing about this topic. There's no excuse for it constantly being on your counter when you had someone else in the room to hold or remove it out of the kitchen. It's not just gross factor about your poor cooking hygiene habits. Cats are one of the worst carriers of diseases for humans. There's 13 in total.. one is..They carry urine and feces from their litter box at all times. Because of this they constantly carry a disease called Toxoplasmosis, which infects our brains, lungs making us extremely ill and can kill you. So the cat's hair in her food is the least of the worries.

A quick dip is 1-2 cans of no beans chili with one to two pkgs of cream cheese- put all into a bowl microwave the dish stir to mix up and serve with big scoops corn chips or whatever you like. Enjoy 😊
I make this but I put cream cheese on bottom of glass baking dish then chili on top of cream cheese then top with shredded cheese & put in 400° oven for 10-15 minutes until cheese is melted
It’s seems like it would be easier to layer the last dip and then cook it.

Hey Kristin (amd friends)! I saw on previous videos you sometimes take recipe suggestions. I have to share my variation of the viral oreo cookie dump cake with you. I made it today and it is top tier. I call it peanut butter cookie cake:
You need:
1 standard casserole 9 x 13 casserole dish
1 package tollhouse chocolate chip cookie dough mix
1 can of sweetened condensed milk
1 8 Oz container of cool whip
About 6 spoon fulls of peanut butter.
1 package of yellow cake mix.
1 1/2 stick of butter.
Preheat oven to 350.
Grease the bottom of your dish with butter
Add one layer of cookie dough mix to the bottom and pat down
Cover that layer with the sweetened condensed milk
Cover that with the 8 ounces of cool whip
Dollop 6 spoonfuls of peanut butter over the cool whip
Cover in your cake mix.
Add butter pats to the top like a normal dump cake.
Cook for anywhere from 40-50 minutes and enjoy!

Rachael....wait....you add cool whip to the cake before you put it in the oven?? Never heard of that, I only use cool whip as topping for already baked cakes or as filling for no bake cakes like the layered cookie refrigerater cakes.

Yes, u can definitely cook your own chicken and buy real cheese that is not processed.

I trained my cats with a spray bottle that shoots a stream of water. I could literally get them off the counters or table from across the room.
Good for you, because cats on the counter top is a turn off, especially when preparing meals.

Not being rude but clinical: cats with that much hair shed every time they move. When I was little, my gmother wouldn't let us go to any social gathering without making sure we understood that we could only eat what she brought. She could not be sure how others handled their kitchens or how they cooked. This is a great example why!!

Keep a water spray bottle and spray him every time he jumps up on the counter. It works and won't hurt him. I use it on my dogs to.

Lay aluminum foil on your counters. You can reuse it. They don't usually like their paws on foil.
My Mom and I make a Velveeta cheese dip. It has Velveeta , fried onions (as many as you like), tomatoes, peppers( if you like).
Melt Velveeta in microwave
Can put a little milk or cream in it.
Sautéed onions on stove til translucent. Add a little pepper. Also sautéed in oil or ghee.
Tomatoes use the canned or can use fresh and roast them in oven it's more flavor.
Peppers can do same with roasting in oven. I don't use peppers but my mom does.
You can put whatever spices you like. Garlic powder is good in it. You can also sautéed garlic.
The fast way if you like salsa is put your favorite salsa into the melted Velveeta.
I don't like salsa to much so I make my own lol.
The tator tot recipe looks so delicious 😋
If you put tin foil on your counters… especially at night when cats tend to roam… he will jump up on the foil and it will make a noise that will scare him but not hurt him. It should only take a time or two and he wont attempt it any more. They are smart!!

Exactly add in a brand new spray bottle with water in it. Spray him & tell him a very firm NO. Soon all you'll need to do is pick up the water bottle or a bottle & shake it. They'll disappear fast. Unless the cat loves water then you're screwed using the water bottle lol.

I tried foil on the counters and it didn't work. It did help around my larger house plant pots to stop them from digging.
