I don't understand why anyone would give you a negative. Your video is probably the best one I've seen and you explaining what your doing in detail. Must be Hilary supporters. Keep up the great videos. Thanks for your video
I have had the pleasure from learning from Cody and LeRee. They are amazing folk and great teachers. If you ever have an opportunity to hunt with them or attend guide school/camp cook school, you will be happy. Thanks for the video guys..... I still hope to do a mountain lion hunt with you within the next few years. Keep up the good work.
By far the best video I have seen on this subject. everyone wants to know about that little knife too, so please let us all know what it is and advise the company that sales will go up when you do.
Good job! The only thing I would add to your process is to wear surgical gloves when gutting, skinning and quartering. Not only does it keep your hands clean but should you cut your self while working on the animal no nasties will get to you. Thanks for sharing the video.
Couple thoughts. One, I was taught this in person before camera videos and the only ones I’ve shared it with are my sons. And the experience has been genuinely enjoyable with a Traditional feel without the guilt that we were adding to depopulation of herds. Because we knew it was special because it was so few people hunting. We never saw anyone. near it. That was 30 years ago. And today with the UA-cam showing every Tom dick and harry and city slickers how to dress animals there are a few side affects. First of all we have stores selling more hunting gear then necessary with obvious impact on the environment. Especially from all the atv’s crawling our countryside’s. That never used to be. It’s unreal. Our area used to have a couple our small trails but now the atv’s are carving up the landscape. And there are other impacts as well but likely the greatest impact is to the herds. They’re smaller. Bulls are smaller. Anyhow, just my two cents worth. I like UA-cam. But man oh man it sure is gotten extreme in its influence on our wildlife and environment. Maybe our government need to charge UA-cam an environmental impact fee.
Looks like the bladder was busted @4:02 with the reciprocating saw. I don't like cutting out the pelvic bone for that reason. I normally rim out the rectum with my knife and do blunt dissection mostly with my fingers until the rectum and bladder are all free. Then It all come out with the heart and lungs.
best instructional video I've seen yet. quick easy and clean! great job and great video...investing in a sawzall.....beats a hack saw for sure.// Thanks again

That is about as fast a gutting job as I've ever seen. Well done! Age restricted? Guess UA-cam management doesn't want the young lads to learn...
