Hi thanks for the video. I had the same issue. After 20k rounds i started having primers flipping and the rotation was not smooth. So i tried ur solution of turning out the grub screw. Anyway i turned and turned a tested it and still did not solve the problem. Then i relooked at ur video and saw the part where u streched the spring for the indexing ball. That seems to have worked as i loaded another 100 rounds and it was back to normal. Just thought u did 2 things and maybe the spring was the issue all along. Anyway tx again for the video
Thanks for the video! I purchased a used 40s&w/10mm caliber conversion and noticed that the underside of the shell plate is not chamfered like on my newer conversions (at 1.00am this morning😂). I will be gently relieving some material with a domed dremmel bit to guide the primer cup into position. But first… coffee
Great video, in fact there are 2 adjustement srews, the one you show in de video and there is one on the primer feed unit, near the spring. You have to undo the spring then you see the other small adjustment screw. But there are not on the older moldels, only the more later ones.
My friend had some issues with his square deal b snapping and flipping the primers over. Another thing that needs to be checked is to measure from the bottom of the primer slide to the top of the primer cup. It should be 1.41” +- .003”. Not enough seems to be just as bad as too much.
@@arthurcarstens ey don't take it bad, if you think you're doing things great, then continue like that. It's just a friendly advice based on what I saw.
@@huracan200173 the point of the video is the existence of the adjustment screw and how it can help you, I run 1000x of rounds thru the press in a year, it gets dirty, I make sure that the key areas for operation is clean, I don't fret over some incidental dirt, sorry for my response, I apologize, have a great holiday season!!!

OK great thank you but what happens when you don’t have the adjustment screw
Now that is a good question, I would contact Dillion and they would send you one
Install it and go from there
Hope this helps
@@arthurcarstens Ok thank you
Mine does not have that adjustment screw. :(
Did you get the machine new or used?
@@arthurcarstens Used. Got it back in 2004.
@@mandibarcena6667 I would contact Dillion and request a replacement
They should get you one
Dude there's powder everywhere, you should clean it a little bit and stroke the handle easier.
appreciate your "expert" advice
