Congratulations Jennifer! That's a fantastic result. I know how much hard work you will have put into achieving such an amazing result. I'm honoured to have been able to help in some small way. I wish you all the very best for the future. Jacky
Hi Ayat. Thanks for your comment. I'm sorry there haven't been many new videos lately. I'm working on an IELTS grammar course at the moment which is taking up all of my time when I'm not teaching. I should be able to get back to creating more video lessons in a few months. In the meantime, there are already over a hundred on my UA-cam channel for you to learn from. I wish you all the best with you IELTS preparation. Jacky
You know what jacky, I can understand your talking clearly as well as other youtubers. But why I can't understand everything while listening real ielts listening!!!
That's so frustrating for you. I guess we have slowed our speech down a little to help you understand. That, of course, isn't the aim of the IELTS examiners!! In the audios, people will be speaking at a normal pace. Listen to as much spoken English as you can. I give several sources on the Resources page of the website. I also add four listening activities to the website each month. I'm sure you've seen them posted on the Facebook page. They should also help you. You can find them all here: www.ieltsjacky.com/listening-ielts.html Hope this helps. Jacky

This is a real mystery. I have students visiting my website from every country in the world so I don't know why you can't access it. I'm very sorry about this. I have made videos on all my main lesson so you can at least learn from these. I wish you all the best with your IELTS preparation. Jacky
madam, some persons suggesting that giving more ideas in each body paragraph is better, but others opine that one idea for each body paragraph would be better. As a result, I am confused, so please provide best so please mention the best method for me.
It is better to fully develop one idea for each paragraph than to have several ideas that are not well-developed. If you can quickly think up and write about several ideas in the time allowed, with minimal errors, then that’s fine. If you find this difficult to do, stick with one idea for each main body paragraph unless the question specifically asks for more than one. My website www.ieltsjacky.com and UA-cam channel have lessons on each question type to help you. You will not gain extra marks for including many different ideas or writing a very long essay. Just make sure that you write enough to cover the word limit and that you fully answer the question. I hope this is helpful.
Mrs.Jacky In listening, If the given answer( as per the answer key) is "collected fees" & if I write" collected seasonal fees" as the answer, will it be marked wrong?
Hi Bindhu Liju. Sorry, I can't identify the answer you are referring to. If the instructions state that you can write 3 words for the answer, 'collected seasonal fees' would be fine. If only 2 words are allowed for the answer and you write 'collected seasonal fees', this will be marked wrong as your answer is over the words limit. Jacky
This is interesting. The last IELTS exam i did March this year, we were expected to write one word for the date and i was confused. Does that mean 02/19 is one word?
I am confused too. I can't think how you can write the date in one word. You're example of 02/19 is numbers not a word so I don't see how that can be right. Are you able to give me the exact wording of the question so that I can hopefully give you a better answer?
@@IELTSJacky it was in part one of IELTS listening and we were supposed to fill in one word for all the questions.i remember it was the last question for that conversation. In the conversation, the student said it's possible on 13th June, however, the question was (Date.........) . to fill in one word
