I can see your arguement, but you can't forget that Peter literally holds back every time he leaves the house- in fear that his full strength can kill somebody. It's not until he's enraged that he stops holding back and using the strength that he always has had. He just needs a push at times, and that push was when his loved ones were threatened.,
@@MilesJ. it wasn’t stated that he holds back, it was only stated with superior spider-man when doc oc took control of his body and punched someone’s jaw almost off. It was only implied for him, not for LA as well.
That’s not really a difference, yes his website weren’t able to support the weight, but he himself was struggling to hold it with his own strength, plus in the actual scene itself, you can hear Peter grunting slightly while holding the train cart. And also, by that same logic, Peter’s webs wouldn’t have been able to stop the train in the second movie.
@@Logan-b4fI get your point, but also, the individual web parts would’ve also snapped during the immense pressure of being pulled, similar to how the webs snapped from the train cart. It wouldn’t have mattered that Peter had to use more webs, the webs were put under more immense pressure and they would’ve slowly snapped apart off the buildings he webbed.
@@Revenant_82 and if you watch the train scene in spiderman 2 back they do snap quite a few times! Also holding something in place is different then holding something in motion it’s like tug of war if you pull another moving object it’s more likely to pull the object towards you in the direction of your movement Like how the walls get ripped off in spiderman 2 when he’s stopping the train!
How is Peter weak if he beat him up?! goblin even started praying mercy! Goblin also got absolutely destroyed by angered Tom's Spidey, and yet Tobey could stop him from killing Goblin. I don't think Peter is weak, i think he was just holding back and wasn't on a killer mind. Correct me if im wrong
@@Isokka. goblin only showed mercy to try and trick Peter into thinking that goblin took control over his mind, also I said this is 2002 spider-man, not Tom Holland. And as the video stated, Peter only got the upper hand because of his anger of Goblin taunting Peter and saying stuff about MJ. And also, Goblin faced a bloodlusted Tom since he killed Aunt May, and Tom also said “I just wanna kill you myself”, letting his anger take over and get the upper hand.
@Revenant_82 he wasn't trying to trick Peter into thinking the goblin took over his mind because that was true. He tried to trick him into thinking it was Norman talking to him to make him think Norman had taken back control of himself. He was playing on the fact that Peter knew and respected Norman.
Bdo talking facts

@ accept Peter had to shoot multiple webs to stop the train in Spiderman 2 and he only had one web in Spiderman 1
