Sunggyu- 1989 Dongwoo- 1990 Woohyun, Hoya, Sungyeol - 1991 Myungsoo - 1992 Sungjong- 1993 they aren't the same age, and since it's different years it's still a Hyung-dongsaeng relation.
what do you mean ' not really' YES really, the fact still stands that all except woohyun, hoya and yeol are different ages. traditionally in Korea, you befriend people born in the same year, otherwise you would address them more formally(or informally if they're younger and you're close enough) like with suffixes like Hyung or sshi, ah, ie etc. thats just the facts. whether or not they want to drop formalities is up to those people.

To me speaking informally means 'showing how close I am' . Hope u understood what I mean! ^^ =]
