Inclusive Hydroponic Gardening with Adults with Developmental Disabilities Growing Beyond Soil

Special Kids Special Families (SKSF) is a non-profit 501c3 organization located in the Colorado Springs area. As a program of SKSF, Adult Services Building Connections is a skills and relational group program where clients developmental disabilities have the option to talk and learn about the subjects that they want in a hands-on way. Clients will interact with others through various themed activities relating to a discussion topic of the day encouraging socialization, communication, and the development of friendships.
