I got 129 with no chip, Darwin and salah my only ones with no returns.
Was so close to captaining eze, but got the fear.
Who would have thought Braithwaite would be my 2nd best player.

I started playing fpl for the first time this year I missed the first week , and yesterday I scored 156 pts that moved me from 3 ml to 1.4 ml Never give up guys 😃

Had Fernandes as Captain then moved it to Mateta then saw " expert videos " and FOMO kicked in and I put it on Salah. Once again Ive screwed myself. Only positive, I have over 100pts with Foden left to play and yes Salah already transferred out for Son !!
Same thing happened to me last gameweek. I had the armband on Palmer all week, then switched to Haaland at the last moment listening to experts.
But I learned my lessons. This week all experts captained Salah, so I captained Mateta.
Andy, at some point can you discuss the benefits of waiting till game week 36 to play the wild card ( I have 5 Chelsea/Spurs) for GW35. Thanks Don

Not owning Mateta or having him on a FH has hurt. Only positive I can take is Branthwaite will come off the bench for Haaland later tonight. Considering bringing in Bruno & Isak in this game week. Might need to wait till following GW to bring in a Newcastle defender for the injured Udogie. Then again, just saw the section on sticking with Saka has had me reconsider the Bruno move as he’d be the player I bring in for Saka.
Love the mistake at the end ... and the suggestion to deduct stars for your slip of the tongue.
Great advice as usual!! Already dumped Salah for Gordon, never had Nuñez, never buying Jackson, but Fernandes suddenly looks like a great pick for the run in.
Question - Johnson for 2 fixtures this week or Gordon for one? I'm finding it hard to split them. I like the extra fixture but they aren't the best and Gordon has Sheff Utd at home...
since there is a lot of money to go around I think buying schar is a good option because he is more nailed than burn and has a high goal threat

Despite him missing loads of chances recently I still understand why people are going for Jackson. One thing I don’t see people talk about though is that Nkunku is back in light training so is there not the possibility of him being back by GW 37 and taking minutes off Jackson?

Hey Andy, Im not sure if anyone has mentioned it yet but Gw34 was a much better week to FH than 29. 😉🤣 (just jokes mate, but the FPL gods are certainly cruel sometimes).
Good points on Salah. My kneejerk reaction is screaming to bin him immediately after captaining him in myFH team where he was 1 of only 2 plauers not returning big time! but I have so many injured players coming back after my FH then Im pretty sure there are more important things to fix this week.....unfortunately......

I'm sticking with Saka! Arsenal will try to win the league. Other Double GW players not close or have hard matches! Like i'm not even planning to own Son in my WC for only 2 good matches. Other in-form mids can certainly exceed his pts.

@@LetsTalkFPL LOL :) Fair point. Spot on haha. Not sure about N. Jackson's returns, if Palmer is out or the end of season fatigue gets him, NJ will never get a ball from midfield. On the other note, Bruno being in form might be a good feeder for Hojlund and they have one double coming up as well.

I triple captained Salah this week. I think they kinda suck
It depends who you pick tbf… if you had the liverpool triple up of Salah, Luis Diaz and Darwin instead of the palace triple up of Eze, Olise and Mateta… completely changes the whole week.
That’s why FH34 overall was a success and much better than FH29 because non free hitters had to carry Darwin for weeks and not have many palace or Everton players for gw34
Liverpool double sucked. Got 122 points with 3 Pool players .
Salah, Darwin, Sarabia, Solanke, Henderson, VVD, Robbo, luis Diaz (no I didn't have all of them). They are good when they have 2 good fixtures and have good form. Just like single GW players. Which is why i am not looking forward to the chelsea and spurs doubles.

Jackson will start every game. Unless he gets injured. Chelsea have no back up striker (apart from Washington) option unless we play Palmer up top

Wouldn't go near Jackson at all. Last two performances have made it so evident. Same with Darwin.

Saka has been ticking over well enough in most GWs, but yeah Salah has fell off a cliff since Afcon really
Maguire has more attacking threat than Dalot.
I know GW34 has been slightly jammy, but I will never understand the logic people had for FH29 over FH34, the upside to FH'ing 29 was extremely limited
I'll talk about this tomorrow but basically "slightly" jammy is probably underplaying it a bit. And also - plenty of FH29 have done fine, it all comes down to which picks you went for at the end of the day.

Mateta scored more than most gwk 29 scores. He scored 25% of his seasons stats in gwk 34. Pickford is now 10 points ahead of Raya!!! Scored nearly 20% of his seasons points in gwk 34. Arguably the craziest gwk in FPL history. Nearly every differential with a massive haul. Slightly jammy doesn't cover it!!!!! But well played 👏🏻
I fh in 29, although it went terrible (15 pts) it allowed me to do better on the weeks leading upto and after it.
Got 129 without a chip this week (damn salah captain) and worked out my score would have actually been lower if I had used a fh this week.
Also I didn't have players fron chelsea and spurs dissapointing me since 29 that most fh 34 teams would have sensibly had.
The only loss really is I didn't have isak over that period.
Now to wc.
The advice was good. From memory Andy put it in my head to wildcard back in gw27-28, got the most of it to field the dgw 28 and field a team gw29. I'm currently 20k OR rank following this FH. Andy gave the advice and didn't listen to his own advice. I've been making transfers since then based on 37 dgw fixtures
Some people just couldn't manage to get a decent number of playing players in 29. I have calculated that I have lost around 25 points, which would have been 0 if I hadn't been an idiot and just taken the -4 for Haaland to Mateta. Also, FH34 players got quite lucky in both GW 29 and 34.

i think this is the end of Salah being a premium. i don't see him as "done", he will still be a good option next szn, but nowhere near valuable like he used to be.

Mateta was not a differential lol. Not even close. Most engaged managers used their FH and most of those had him. Some none FH users had him too. Bad take.
After that performance vs arsenal, surely Jackson is dropped
He played pretty well overall I thought, not so much in front of goal.....not sure who they'd drop him for either.
