OMG that chunky discbound is glorious!
I love that you figured out what works best for you in your life right now. Many of us struggle with it or just cannot seem to make something stick. Thanks for sharing and love what you have set up!
KSJ,
Thank you for your comment as well taking time to watch! ❤
I like that you have a weekly list of things you clean. I need to start a daily so that I am not feeling overwhelmed on Saturday.
Being a Planner person is a journey. I have tried them all. I come to realize planners are like friends some are only there for a season.
Watched until the end. Loved the setup. I’m moving from rings to discs for work because it’s so much easier to move the pages around. I don’t like slitting my pages for rings so this just will work out better for me.
Hi Theresa,
Moving to disc was the best decision I've made. It has been a game changer in my planning routine. Super customizable. Thanks for watching! ❤
I love both❤️. So, gorgeous! The chunky is outstanding!
I found what I like- I like Day Designer by Blue Sky planner. I think it's the best daily planner and pretty cheap
I love this! I agree. The happy planner punch works for their discs, but not the levenger punched ones like janes agenda and plum paper. Thanks for sharing! This was helpful!
Thank you for sharing! Love your setup
Hey Jacqulin,
Thanks for watching! ❤
18:37 wow, this is the beast
Put his diaper on backwards if he is taking it off. It works!
🥰🥰🥰🥰 I love a chunky discbound
I'm thinking of doing this, but punching for my franklin covey classic binders...thanks for the ideas! I would love to see a more detailed meal planning video. I really like your process.
Hi Marie,
Thanks so much for all the feedback! I'm glad you found it helpful 🤗I can definitely try and do a more detailed video on how I meal plan, in a future video. Once again thanks so much for watching! ❤
7:22 if you live in the US, it's not a problem to get the happy planner cheaply on sale, especially now, after the new year
16:47 and here is another reason to get the disc planner cheaper
Glad I found your channel from Philofaxy. I am using WilliamHannah and I am super happy. Plum Planner does look really nice and its amazong how well you use that system to your needs. I can only echo the same using anything fixed and set - like Hobo and others. Changing and moving papers, todos etc is so important for my work/personal life as well. Subbed. Also would appreciate if you could include links to products you are showing off. Just for a reference. Thx.
Hi Mike,
I'm glad that you enjoyed the content. It's a little hard to share specific links to the inserts I'm using as they are customized, however you can view sample layouts on the Plum Planner website. One of the things I really enjoy about the Plum planner is that it's tailored to fit your needs. I highly recommend just browsing the website because there are way more options to explore. For a bit of guidance my exact layouts are:
Weekly: A5 Vertical Priorities
Daily: A5 12 Month Daily
Here's a link to the site, I hope this helps www.plumpaper.com/
Thanks so much for watching!
Your handwriting is BEAUTIFUL 😊
Thank you!
Great video
Thanks for watching!
44:23 I like your system. I want the same thing in the A6 size. On discs. On the regular paper. Not TR. Probably I could buy the daily A6 planner and cut it out or print it
Thanks for sharing -- great job! Did I miss it? Where is the meal planner from? I couldn't figure it out -- thanks again for your
video -- super helpful!
Hi Mrs. Smith, I forgot to also mention that the meal planner is also Plum Planner. Thanks for watching ❤
Commenting late, but WOW, that was helpful. Thanks!
I'm glad you found it helpful 🤗 ❤
I don't know why I never considered the quality of the disc's! 💡don't we all go back & forth w/our planning systems once in a while? 😬 Have you seen Dawn, the Minimal Mom's simple meal planning vid? I think she came up with a great system. Happy planning to us all 🤩
I switched from the Hobonichi to a disc bound weekly plum paper in July. My disc's are from Jane's Agenda and I don't have any problems. But you just gave me a great idea to add the daily to my system. Right now I'm using the daily duo but not loving having 2 books. Thanks and do what works best for you. ❤ Not sure why you spent so much?
Hi nichelleedwards1962,
The price reflects all of the different add ons plus the books that I've included in my purchase. In total I have 5 books (wellness, recipes, notes, daily, weekly) along with add ons to the weekly ( budget sheets after every month) and meal planner, as well customizations to both weekly and daily (left all boxes blank). Then, I added covers and discs along with accessories. I essentially franken planned my system into one book. That's why I spent so much, I know I never mentioned that, so sorry. That price definitely jumps fast. Thank you so much for watching! ❤️
@@LifeWithMJB Oh now I see. I only purchased the weekly pages with one add on. I didn’t get their discs because they were to high. I will definitely keep watching.
Your handwriting is so unique. I love it.
Thank you Jahayra ❤️
I like the shorter stem disc punch, but I kind of think the plum paper insert paper is so silky and light that it’s not ideal for disc punching overall. Love your beautiful pages!
Hi Desktop Adventures, thank you for your feedback, I agree about the Plum Paper being really smooth and thinner than that of the happy planner. I honestly think it has something to do with the punch and maybe disc. 🤷♀️ Idk lol but thank you for watching! ❤
@@LifeWithMJB It’s fun to experiment anyway! Maybe matching the punch and disc width will work the best no matter the paper. I agree that it’s worth getting preprinted dated pages in this stage of life! ❤️
Hold on❤❤❤❤
Tfs...good to hear your rationale for changing up. 1 note: your opening video page should have stationEry instead of stationAry
Thanks for pointing that out! I edit these on my phone so word prediction always fills in the blanks and I'm obviously not checking enough lol 😆 but thank you for watching!
Hi doll, I was just wondering where you got your beautiful cover. I have no sound right if you said. Thanx so much
Hi Sarah!
The orange floral cover is from an Etsy shop, Paperboundcreations. This particular cover she doesn't have anymore, however she does come out with new collections often and has a wide range of fun covers to choose from. Thanks so much for watching! ❤
@@LifeWithMJB ❤
@@LifeWithMJB ❤thank you.
May have been asked but where is your cover from for your discs?
Hi Ashley,
My cover came from a shop on Etsy called Paperboundcreations.
What pens do you use in the plum paper planner? I'm having trouble finding pens that don't smear.
Hey Just a plain mom,
The pens that I've used that haven't given me any issues or major issues that is, are the pilot precise V5 RT pens in (0.5mm) I also just use regular ballpoint pens. The bic exact pens in (0.7mm) write really smooth on the paper Bic in general has some good pen products that do well with this smooth paper 🤷♀️ lol outside of that I haven't used many pens that are gel. Not sure if you've seen this video, but there is a UA-camr who has a lot of helpful info on the plum planner including pen test etc. Here's the link. Hope that helps. Thanks for watching!! ❤

Really wish that there were time stamps for each planner
Hi Gabriella,
I know that it would be beneficial for viewers, but I do film a lot of this content on my phone, and editing is not always easy. I'm more than happy to provide the details of each add-on if that helps you.

FYI your title screen in the beginning has a typo: it’s spelled “stationery.” 😉
“Stationary” means “not moving.”
Hi, yeah it was fixed in my future videos. Thanks for watching! ❤️
