Northeast india exist? bruh yeah! itt is gem of our country, and inortheast is becoming popular which i really want (i'm from uttarakhand) , and if we talk about foriegners then they most of them only thinks India is like other countries with 1 type of everything india is universe itself, different cultures in different sides of india but connected with same roots, different looks but all are indian and the ancient culture of india is on top, desert,snow,rainforest,beautiful nature, own union teritories , and as well as slums too. india have slums but not ONLY SLUMS, and that's what foreigners dont want to understand because their media shows only negative sides

Had Northeast India got a neighbor like Thailand instead of Myanmar then it would have been a different place. There would have been lost cost airlines between Bangkok and Chiang Mai to Kohima, Aizawl, Guwahati, Bagdogra etc. Many foreigners who would have got bored with Pattaya, Phuket and Bangkok would have gone to Aizawl, Kohima, Gangtok and Shillong to experience cool weather and friendly English speaking people.
India would have got an easy access to ASEAN markets, Tata, Mahindra, TVS, Bajaj and Hero would have been popular in Thailand. Many 7-11s would have existed in North East India and Treeview TV company also would have reached India.
But unfortunately, it's not 😆

I feel happy that my parents took me in so many north eastern states for vacations. Even my father got transferred in Gangtok and Tezpur, so I have lived much of my childhood in North East. NE is really a work of art, since I was too young when I was in Assam, I don't remember much about Assam, but Sikkim is the best place that I have ever been to in India. The people, the paintings on wall, discipline. God how much I wish to live in Gangtok again. I witnessed my first and only snowfall in Arunachal Pradesh. Even many dk that Sikkim & Arunachal has cold desert. North Sikkim has so many beautiful spots! Gurudongmar lake is really a breathtaking site ngl. I wouldn't have known that India has the 3rd world's highest peak if I hadn't been to NE, and luckily its view was visible in summers and winters from my home :). NE is really underrated.

Actually, Thai appearance closely resembles with Odisha, a eastern state south of West Bengal. It seems just the next state, if there was no sea in between. North east people have Asian looks like you - Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Tripura, Sikkim and Assam.
Thai are physically diverse so they can look like people from Odisha, Northeast India or other parts of Southeast Asia. Southern Thai can look like Odisha people but most Thai look like Northeast Indians or other Southeast Asians. Most Northeast Indians have Southeast Asian features.
True. The north east and south thai very much look like odisha. If we look at their features..

Hey Didi north east also called as 7sisters Aasam, Meghalay, Tripura, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram. From childhood we learnt about this in studies.
Also on Door Darshan weather report every day they’d say their names specifically for the NE. After cable came in, it all died out

Some asians think we south asians are not Asians. Not only the north east indians are asians, but all indians are asians. some of us may have darker skin, but we are all part of asia.
