Sheldon never realized that he treats his friends pretty badly a lot, now it finally took him this long to realize that he’s been taking them for granted.

Tbh I’m glad that everyone finally called him out after 12 years. He’s been callous, selfish, condescending, and disrespectful to everyone since the beginning. He deserves to know what he’s done to others.
@@evanstewart2534 200% with you on this. The call out on him is the reason this episode is easily the best TBBT ep for me. When Leonard can't stand the disrespect anymore and call him a "selfish jerk" i literally clapped.
The fact that Amy says that she also tolerates Sheldon sometimes because he never means to hurt makes me wonder if Amy would've left Sheldon again, but forever, if he refused to ever stop living with Leonard and Penny would never live with Amy when they're married.
Which is why, Sheldon and the show writers are lucky Sheldon decided to live with Amy and leave Leonard and Penny to live alone, because if he didn't... who knows if Amy would've permanently ditched Sheldon?

and took sheldon 12 years to even realize that he keeps hurting people when he doesnt mean to and keeps forgetting common social courtesies that leads him to hurt people when he doesnt mean to. what a genius with an eidetic memory.

I was looking for this. Sheldon was the punching bag the whole show so everybody else could feel good, no matter how underhanded in their own right. Sheldon is expendable. Here Amy says people tolerate him like he's not a person. Who can tolerate that? I wish this show was never created I so completely relate to the Sheldon character and watch in the show and in comments how easily everybody accepts Sheldon as the thing to hate. Girls and self-deprecating guys get a pass but pride in male intelligence is treated like a myth and an evil conspiracy. My mother would love this. Thank god she's in Hell now along with my father.
