- Minecraft has been around for nearly 15 years. In that time, Mojang removed features that we will likely NEVER see again in a future Minecraft update! Here are all 436 banned Minecraft features, from removed blocks to illegal items that Mojang probably want you to forget about! This includes mobs from the 2023 Minecraft mob vote and the removed features from Minecraft Earth. Even the hedgehog in Minecraft and the chalkboard deleted block!
This is the definitive list of everything removed from Minecraft. Please let me know in the comments if I forgot anything! It’s 1 hour of Minecraft facts.

37:14 To be honest, the crafter was the best thing they added into the game so far. It was a surprise like the cherry trees and wood type.
mojang needs to add more animals. i have a whole list of which id love to see: monkeys (imagine seeing them swing around in jungles WITH bannanas), flamingos (it would be so cute), crabs (they should be able to pinch u if u hit it them), fish tank that can have fish and other sea animals (not an animal but something i strangely loved building a lot as a kid so it would be great if it was a real thing), red pandas, elaphants, hippos, crocodiles/alligators, whales, sharks, jellyfish (not actually sure if minecraft has them), butterflies, flies (more bugs), LIONS AND TIGERS, more bird species, different breed of dogs and cats perhaps, more bunny species, not an animal BUT they should add baths, so like u could smell in minecraft and it could attract the flies that i mentioned and then u would have to wash yourself to get rid of them (they cant give any harm though), SQUIRELLS,CHIPMUNKS,HAMSTERS,GUINNEA PIGS AND FERRETS (SO MINI AND CUTE), ALSO NOT AN ANIMAL BUT FOR CATS,DOGS AND OTHER PETS U CAN HAVE, THEY SHOULD ADD SOME PET BEDS FOR THEM (ALSO CAT FOOD/DOG FOOD IN BOWLS?), ladybugs, budgies, seals and sea lions (not sure if their the same thing), fennec foxes, geese, ducks, girrafes, kangaroos, HEDGEHOGS, zebras, geccos lizzards and chameleons, KOALAS, snakes, moose, MEERCATS, GORILLAS AND ORANGATANGS, lepards, panthers, otters and beevers, chicks, and finally, penguins. I COULD THINK OF MORE BUT THIS IS ENOUGH FOR NOW I REALLY HOPE I SEE ATLEAST ONE OF THESE SOON IN MINERAFT...

Old versions of Xbox 360 minecraft and PS3 had Luck potions!
They also had “invisible” which was a “cheat” where you were invisible without effects.
They also had in-game voice chat
I only got into minecraft within the past couple of years when I met some of my online friends, so everything I've learned about the game comes from them. They're minecraft veterans who grew up with the game while I never really had interest in it. I don't know anything about dungeons, but learning that it had hedgehogs devestated me. I'm a huge hedgehog lover, I even have one as a pet! I would give anything to have them in the game.
Actually, it does make sense for there to be nothing under the bedrock.
The void only exists due to the way Minecraft is generated. Preferably, as in Minetest and some other games, there is no bedrock. It pretty much generates infinitely deeper, and so there is no void and no bedrock to seal it off!

Well, under review for the auto crafting table, it was called "crafter" but you had to use redstone, also its in 1.21 snapshot
So glad for better Minecraft mod! I didn’t know any of these existed until now and I’ve only been playing better Minecraft now for about a month so it’s just really interesting to see that these were all actual ideas
Crafter has been added to 1.21 snapshots because of the pain of gold and other farms that have craftable items or idk ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

(also, nether reactor cores don't turn into update blocks under normal conditions.)

23:54, speaking of Hot Things, one day i thought about the idea of volcanic vents found deep underwater, just like real life, since we already have magma blocks that spawn in underwater caves, these volcanic heat vents would make sense. or a volcanic vent biome, maybe you could even find unique mobs there just like tube worms and other creatures found near them.
i get that furniture can be built with the current minecraft items but vertical slabs would mean so much to the community

it was less of a "no" as it was a disagreement because mojang wanted only parts of the mod added while the creator wanted every feature added
It does make sense that you can make honeycomb into wax candles and wax copper with it because the wax is in the honeycomb anyways.
25:57 is still exists if you remove a mod that adds a block in bedrock edition, but your probably going to get a different block with pink and black checkers usually.
No joke, I was running an superflat experimental 1.20 world and I saw those blocks along with terracotta, but after that it disappeared. I think what it was was the game trying to generate a trail ruins with the code in the files but realized it wasn't supposed to.
In case you don't know, the blocks were the update blocks that was talked about in the video.

My idea for why the chainmail-chain crafting thing is that chains take more iron that one ingots, but make worse armor.

The wildfire is a miniboss in the minecraft dungeons "flames of the nether" dlc, and does not have to be "glitched in"
This is a compilation of old clips as well as some new ones. At one point the wildfire needed to be glitched in.

I feel chain armor would be to expensive, since chains are worth more than an iron ingot, yet chainmail is weaker.
Adding a 'teacup' pig could seriously bad, considering they're not real, they're 'bred' by underfeeding a pig and keeping it kept in a tiny space until it gets deformed

If they added ducks to the game, they should make it so that they attack wolves. Ducks, specifically the males which are literally called drakes, have a tendency to chase and bite dogs. Roosters are also known to be quite the pester, but they can’t bite in the same way ducks do. Ducks are worse for egg farming because they refuse to conform to nest boxes, often laying eggs directly into mud. Their eggs require a lot of cleaning before they can be sold. So that could be an interesting thing to incorporate into the game, too

The chalk in the thumbnail, was never removed 😂 it’s just in the education version though, because they thought a chalkboard would be more useful in education uses.
