Kittie was always welcomed from the get. I got into them bc my ex who was heavily into thrash, hardcore, grindcore, and me just into punk and metal in general, was super into them.

I’d give you two thumbs up if I could. One for featuring Kittie and one for your enthusiasm for Kittie!
I’m excited to get the new album!
Oh, yes! I’m waiting for that Karkaos album, too!

Great interview, love Kittie - glad they are getting attention again. They so deserve it!!! The new stuff is great and they have so many amazing songs from their back catalogue. 🙌🏻

I have been a fan since 'Spit' was released, to literally time stamp it I almost went to their show at Kitt's Korner that was filmed for their home video. I don't know how anyone can listen to 'Oracle' and think it's "nu-metal". I still don't know how to categorize it, some sort of groove death/doom. "Safe" and "Pink Lemonade" are straight doom! To me they were clearly NOT nu-metal long before 'Until the End'. And I think 'Oracle' is the best representation of Kittie until they really found themselves on 'In The Black' and 'I've Failed You'. I am really excited to seem them rolling again! And even though the 'Spit' songs no longer appeal to me, its cool to see them getting attention again and grabbing a new generation!

I want Mercedes and Morgan to sing more together. Both of their singing voices are hauntingly beautiful.
I want Jinjer to cover a Kittie song.

Oh, 90s Canadian rock! It’s totally what I’m listening to these days (and heavy female fronted Canadian metal). In fact, I’m watching this video in between listening to a playlist of Econoline Crush, 54-40, I Mother Earth, The Tea Party, Age of Electric, plus loads of less heavy stuff like Blue Rodeo, The Northern Pikes, The Grapes of Wrath, etc. How cool to hear these ladies talk about 90s Canadian rock so enthusiastically!

Kittie are awesome, I love to see bands from when we were young either come back after so long, or stick around, it's just awesome and wholesome.
You feel like you've grown up with the band ❤
....Coal Chamber, and now Kittie, oh man 😎

I never heard of Kittie until about a year ago. I can across an article on 10 metal bands that should have been more successful that they were. Each had a video and Brackish got me hooked. Love the band and looking forward to the new album.

I'd totally front a band full of female musicians! That honestly sounds dope.

I have been a fan since the beginning. I've never had the chance to see them live though until now. I'm going to Dallas in August to see their show this year.

As Morgan said, horror & scifi movies... So you're The Birthday Massacre forward? They're from Toronto & BIG into olde school horror. I saw them live open for Emilie Autumn. You ladies know Rhim, bring on that co-headliner ❤️😍🥰😮

Great interview. I saw them open for Sabbath and Pantera. They sounded great, and nobody booed them. Then they actually headlined a show and they were slick as hell too, right after Oracle came out. Props from Grand Rapids, MI

If I had to classify them, I’d say they are an Alternative Thrash Metal. But I just call them metal in general, Spit was the only nu-metal(ish) music of theirs.

Yes I agree 💯. I'd also go as far to say that each album pretty much has a different genre

"The most jaw-dropping artist you would love to work with? Joan Jett! She's the Queen of Rock, there's no argument there, she's right up along Prince as most influential musical artist. Just ask Miley Cyrus, she's a Joan Jett Fangirl. L😂❤😂
