But her previous discography is very long with good music as well, just less consistent and international, more ballads. But her previous discography is very long with good music as well, just less consistent and international, more ballads.

I don’t like Annalisa…she has a great voice and she is very gorgeous…but something in her latest songs sounds very fake and artificial to me…like someone has told her to try something different and more trendy in order to get success….and it came across very distant from her true self!

In my opinion, you definitely don't know enough to understand her evolution and path if your idea of her is this. Just think of the times when she wrote and sang in Elaphe guttata and the albums made from 2016 (all elettropop) That is when she started to have more freedom from the record company

Call me crazy, but nowadays I prefer a single raw, abrasive, perfectly imperfect, intense, out of the box and almost masculinely violent half chorus of Madame than 50 hits from Annalisa as she presents herself right now! She sounds to me like kind of an “Elodie I wannabe”, whithout the carnal and sexy vibe that Elodie naturally owns. And it is such a waste because in the end Annalisa has a better voice than Elodie, but the styling, the attitude, the genre of music and of female artist she probably wants to play now are so similar to Elodie but finally a lot less authentic and smooth! I am not wondering why nobody ask to do something similar to Madame: changing herself to please the masses, and I guess we both know it already! Madame is not the kind of artist to follow trends! She is her own trend, she is in charge of her art and that’s why artists, even male artists a lot older than her like Fabri Fibra crave collaborations with her, they ask for her lyrics, and young female musicians are so inspired by her (the section of La noia in which Angelina Mango does that rap-singing reminds a little of Madame’s style) . Angelina’s song is great, she is fresh and charismatic and that lyrics she has is genius. That lyric and composition won not only Sanremo but also the prize of criticism by the Sala Stampa Lucio Dalla and the Giancarlo Bigazzi Award for the best musical composition!
