A person who professes a belief in God is like a plant. If they are truly saved, they will continue to grow and to bring forth fruit. Their faith will continue on. This is because it is God who keeps us. Man by themselves are fickle. But what God has started, He will finish. He keeps us. He seals us with the Spirit of promise.
