Hey Beauties!
Here is my first look using the Polar Ice palette form Chantecaille. I filmed this as a GRWM instead of a voice over makeup tutorial so please let me know which you prefer down below in the comments. This is my favorite look of yours! You look so pretty and luminous! Good job with a GRWM! I also liked your freckles shining through when you used one coat of the foundation, although I do understand you wanting more coverage.
Thank you Tricia! It was such a fun look to create :) I usually use one coat during the day, or if I'm using something else I go for a light weight foundation. For some reason, I feel like I should always use full coverage when I film, which now that I think of it seems ridiculous lol. I should embrace my freckles more on camera too! Erin, right at the beginning of the video, when you just started working on your eyes, I thought it would be so pretty to do a more sheer coverage with a lighter foundation - those freckles look so pretty with such light color look😀
And the color scheme & frosty shimmers really work for you! I love the light pinkish highlighter (what was I thinking buying a bunch of gold ones last year?!!😆)

Thank you Victoria! He’s starting to feel better finally (thank goodness). I’m going to try a few looks with light foundations coming up! I’m usually so self conscious about my freckles but it’s about time to embrace them lol I love the gold highlighters from last year! But I’m with you, now there are so many cool toned and pink highlighters coming out and it’s so overwhelming! Xx

Thank you so much Connie! I use shade 10, it’s not really luminous although you could mix in liquid illuminator which I’ll do sometimes. It’s a really soft finish which is what I love most :) xx

I think you did a great job on this video. Do not apologize for getting tongue tied we are not judging at least not me. I ordered the palette as well as 2 lipsticks and 2 polishes. Can I wear the Happy cheek gelee with the Citrine lipstick? Will that work? Thank you. Yup at 64 I am going to be rocking this shimmer look, watch out.
Yes, absolutely! I love that combination! The happy cheek gelee is so lightweight and natural you can wear it with anything :) You are going to look gorgeous in your new goodies! ANd thank you... I realize most people are reasonable lol and we are always our worst critics but you'd be surprised at the stuff that gets pointed out lol xx

It wears beautifully! It’s not a ton of shimmer.. but a few pieces definitely will drop on the cheeks :) it’s still an incredible palette! Xx

Well Nicole what a fabulous video, so nice to see it so natural and still informative. I was with you every step of the way, just one very tiny critism, I do wish you'd have also done your eyebrows an eyeliner on the video instead of going off video to do them, but it won't put me off from watching, hope the hubby gets well soon x
Ps so prefer to see the videos like this rather than talk overs, think these are a lot more friendly to watch too. X

It's definitely a pricey palette, there will be similar ones since the shades are what's trendy right now for less :) You can definitely achieve the look without breaking the bank! xx
