😅😅 actually I have explained it in this lecture that this is a case of thermal energy with finite mass. So as the temperature at which the heat is being supplied will change continuously so engine efficiency (1-T2/T1) will change .

Actually I got confused as it says it works as a reversible engine and for any reversible engine between temp limits efficiency will be a constant, I went as per that..for which irreversibility will be zero as we will directly get W max.

actually even though you would have seen questions in which there it is written reversible engine but we cannot calculate efficiency by using 1-T2/T1 especially in T-S diagram problems.
Because even though engine is reversible but the heat addition and rejection temperature changes continuously so though we may use this formula but we will have to treat T2 and T1 as variables
