Yeah Charles Collet is one dedicated beast! Most of that footage is from 2003-2004 for his Cliché video parts in "Bon Appétit" and "Freedom Fries". I always enjoyed shooting with him, not for the slams, but because he is a serious ripper, and he does it with style.... I shot so many epic photographs with him, some of my very best!!!!
I love how this video shows the trails this guy went through to make every single trick. It really makes you want to see him land it that much more! I want to see more videos like this! Dudes battling for the trick, slamming over and over again just to make it that one time. It is so cool and amazing to watch because that is what skateboarding is.

It seems like his shoes were very ill fitting for most of the filming sessions which I think contributed a lot to him not getting good feedback as to where his feet were in relation to his board. His toes didn't look snug at all. Plus his trucks seemed pretty tight as well. Tight trucks + ill fitting shoes = pain. Crazy ass balls on a shit ton of heavy obstacles though. Major props.
