Nice to see a channel and person who actually knows the players he’s seeing in packs. So many influencers could honestly not tell you who Deangelo hall or Mike singletary are. Only in it for the big hits to influence others to buy the product. This stuff does look amazing but hard to get over the logos not being on the helmets or cards. Thanks Andy for being one of the only channels on UA-cam who gets this hobby
Hard to believe chrome basketball and composite football were designed by the same company. I love the greats auto checklist. Nostalgic for me. Great to see so many greats with ink. Give me Hester over some no name offensive lineman in panini any day!
I picked up 1 mega box of composite yesterday to check it out. I pulled a researgence 9/150 Bryce Young autograph in 2nd pack. I'm going to buy a hobby or more megas today
Good great product but in the end its still unlicensed. Its almost bootleg stuff. Would u rather want a cj stroud, brady signed/unsigned unlicensed or licensed card? Say in comments
I gotta disagree with the bootleg claim here. None of the players signed while under NFLPA deals. These are all retired players or rookie QBs who had deals and signatures penned before they were drafted. The NFL doesn't own these men's likeness' in perpetuity. Not every photo of every player ever taken was done so by an NFL Films photographer. In a free market, you have the right to compete, and there's no infringement of trademark
Yes, this product looks fun to open -- but, back in 2017 and 2018 for MLB products Panini released some amazing looking cards. None of Panini products appreciated like Topps cards for Judge, Ohtani, Soto or Acuna. Yes, there is definitely Value to unlicensed sets -- yet, the licensed cards do better over time if the Players perform well on the field. I know everyone on the Checklist for the most part for this set...I don't collect them without the NFL logos because it's not how I remember them. 🤓🏈
Hey Acme Great Video! 👍 As much as I don't like the non licensing products I have to say this one im a little more lenient on. Congrats on your hits! That Hester is sweet. He was an animal on returns
@@AcmePacks yeah, I’ve heard that. Has he ever had an actual signature or has he always signed “ AR” I think It’s kind of a rip off when players do that.
I entered the drawing but wasn't selected. Very good set but not too mad cause of all the old players in it. Would have been nice if they put current vets in it
They are definitely great looking cards. I’m wondering where the value is going to be long term, but value aside it looks like a really fun rip. I’m convinced enough to have picked up a hanger and mega on target this morning.
I like the football. Seems way better than panini for your buck. Get the top rookie qbs and guys from back in the day. Very nostalgic product. Thanks for the rip! Go Pack Go!🍻🧀
Not a huge fan in general still, wish Topps had just waited until they got the licence (obviously which they would never do because of $$$). I do dig the Midnights though. Nice Hester and Ant(-sized signature)thony Richardson!
I will say the football cards look way better than the basketball ones. And for me it depends on the Angle of this pictures cause some look better than others
Not a fan of any unlicensed cards, including these. However, it does get me excited for when Topps takes over the NFL license! Seems that we'll get more value compared to the grossly overpriced and underwhelming Panini products.
Ngl I think for the most part the haters kept the same energy, I feel like I actually seen more negativity compared to other unlicensed products, but I still enjoy it
@@Rob-kl1uz they dont have a deal with the NFLPA because panini still owns that. But they have Stroud, levis, young, and richardson autos so at least all of the big qbs
The simple answer why people should care is the price isn't justified for cards that are GUARANTEED to plummet before the year ends. That being from an investor or hobbyist point of view. The same way people aren't spending hundreds/thousands collecting 1990's Fleer should be the same reason people shouldn't buy this. If this set isn't worth pulling out of an attic to look at or show off 30 years from now, then what is it good for?
Topps Composite football is a decent product your hobby box was pretty decent your breakers delight was an awesome box I like all the different sets in one product and the designs are really good it's worth taking a chance on for an unlicensed product it's fun to open Great video Andy
Today I bought a box from my LCS for $425, my birthday is in 2 days and this was my first ever hobby box I’ve ever purchase, I was hoping that would carry some luck into the box as all I’ve ever opened is retail but the rookie qb autos being in here and otherwise you get legends and not a defensive linemen rookie who you’ve never heard of like in panini. My autos were a Ricky Williams patch auto /75 3 color patch, Cj2k Chris Johnson purple speckle auto /199, Anthony Munoz blue refractor auto /150, I think my expectations were too high from seeing how frequent the rookie qb autos seem to get pulled, my best numbered was a Anthony Richardson Topps finest color match /199 . Oh well could’ve been worse I guess but hard to feel satisfied. I guess I see why I rip retail 😂 doesn’t hurt as bad at $20-30 a box but at least guaranteed autos and certain value back in hobby.
@@AcmePacks after I opened my box, I skimmed through other breaks and videos of these being opened and im feeling much better about my box now, seeing a lot of regular base autos pulled and I got all 3 numbered and one was a 3 color patch auto, thank you for the sentiment i appreciate it. Think was just disappointed in the moment to not get a rookie auto, but if they were in every box they wouldn’t be valued right? Always next time, appreciate your vids and reviews as well!
I only buy for PC and never to sell. I want my cards to have my favorite team on them. Players come and go. The team is what I'm a fan of. So as a "true collector", I disagree with your statement. Honestly only people I see truly hyping up unlicensed, are the people who break or sell lol. IMO who cares just buy what you like and quit worrying about what other people like.
The cards are very well designed. They do a fairly good job in hiding that this is an unlicensed product. It's much better than the t-shirt and shorts autograph cards from Upper Deck. 😆

Right, it’s sickening how many of these influencers have no idea about nfl history
He called Stephen Davis.. Stefan Davis... soo
Can't agree more. Acme is extremely underrated.
And he takes his time and respects the cards! Doesn’t just fly through for the hits.
I do what i can! I appreciate all of the kind words!
What a time to pull the Hester! Congrats! This is definitely my favorite set of the year.
Can’t wait till Topps gets full licensing
Dear god no, their card quality and design in literal garbage compared to Panini the license won't help that.
The timing of Hester is incredible I just seen him on the sidelines yesterday!
Decent pulls! Beautiful cards!!!

I love these cards.
Good stuff man! I actually hit a Hester black cosmic /10 in mine. Glad he did a bunch of on-card autos in this one!

your hand would get tired too if youve signed a million cards lol.

AR's "signature" is criminal. Athletes should be paid for a full name, not initials unless their name has initials in it

I judge the career potential of a player based on their auto and as a colts fan that worries me
AR’s earlier auto’s had a semi-legit signature. About halfway through he just switched up to AR which I find hilarious
