March 2021, I was down with COVID-19 and I was on death's door. This song put me to sleep every day and somehow I knew I would wake up the next day. Thank you Wanjiru for writing this song.

@@adriannebatakanwa6904 The song Manasses referenced is an old but forever timely Kikuyu song that says loosely translated " Lord I would like you to know that I am glad because of you.." I am kamba lady ...but I love this song. It gives me hope in life.glory be to God
I was battling spiritual battles n trough worshipping this song, Jesus set me free
When my husband rested on 16th Dec 2022, the Pastor who came to comfort us at home on 18th sang this song. I sang along with him with tears freely flowing and at the end of the song in the midst of my pain and loss l had peace that l have a defender in my God.
Today almost 2yrs later l have been in battles as a widow BUT GOD has been my defender. God has fought my battles and done great miracles full of might for l and my children.
To God be all glory for giving Carol this song that has encouraged many across nations!
I Love 💕 this song, I heard it from my roommate back then when was a university student 🎉🎉 dispite the fact that i hear less of Kikuyu, it's has been a blessing ❤to me🎉❤

Chorus says
Above all else You are Lord
You do wonders You are almighty
And that is why my heart is full of joy
Because I know you are the one who fights on my behalf.
That's direct translation
Basically song speaks of God as our warrior. Who satisfies our soul

Its May 15, 2024. I am here to listen to this song. Munduiiriri/ my defender. A song I have listened to time and again, a song I have sang and every time I hear it, it sounds new. This song not only gives me hope, but there is a way it allows total submission to God's power. This is one song I feel was inspired by the Holy Spirit of God. May it continue to heal the hurting souls to the glory and honour of God

March 2021, I was down with COVID-19 and I was on death's door. This song put me to sleep every day and somehow I knew I would wake up the next day. I won the battle over that sickness with the help of this song because God reminded me that all things work together for good to those who love God and are called according to His purpose. Thank you Wanjiru for writing this song.
I am blessed by this song in 2024. Thank you so much.❤🤗👏👏🙏
Feeling blessed by this song in 2022.......we sang this song tonight with my family.
Thank you my dear wife for leading me together with our lovely daughter for a word of prayer.
Keep winning mammie.......
I don't understand the language but fully blessed with the song thank you
You know you are blessed when your song rivals “ Nií níngwenda Ngai úmenyage” during Church worship service. That means it’ll endure for generations yet unborn.
Oh yes nice worship song ever
English please
@@adriannebatakanwa6904 The song Manasses referenced is an old but forever timely Kikuyu song that says loosely translated " Lord I would like you to know that I am glad because of you.." It is a powerful song about God's provision and also thanking God because everything we have, from our clothes, food and everything we have, we owe it all to God and can never thank Him enough.
