I should leave without turning back even to see her sister (as she had the trust that her sister must be following her all the way long).... Lataji is a true artist. Saraswati ka aashirwaad h un pe.

I think LP used Bhairavi more effectively than any other music director including Shankar Jaikishan. How many Bhairavis sung by Lataji for this duo? Innumerable and most of them gems like this one.
Shankar jaikishan I think. No one else could use bhairvi better than SJ. Even LP always adored SJ and considered their idol.
@@HimanshuTripathi007 The usage of SJ of Bhairavi in classical compositions was fantastic. But LP used them in dance songs, love songs etc in very effective way and gave a different flavour to it. The above song which is a kind of folkish dance is beautiful usage especially in the antaras. Do not know if they copied it but it is pretty outstanding.
@@praghavan1973 You may watch many dance numbers created by SJ during 50s where they have used bhairvi to the large extent. Well it would be endleas arguements between us as Laxmi ji always said - ‘Maine jaikishan ji jaisa composer apni zindagi me nahi dekha’ … this statement says whole story of LP’s inspiration which they always looked towards SJ.

Superb. Latajis voice is just ethereal. The man playing the accordion is Arun Paudwal.(Anuradha Paudwals late husband) & the one who is conducting orchestra is Anil Mohile. Both of them worked together as music directors under the name Anil-Arun & composed many Marathi songs.
