What material are you mixing to create the mud? I have a large piece of OSB primed with a KILZ veneer primer. I want to create a stucco appearance on it before I stick a wooden world map to it.
Hi, I’ve used just a drywall mud compound. For your application I’m not sue what would be the best idea, you could try drywall all purpose, sprinkle it on, wait for it to dry and then you’d have to prime and paint it. I’m just not sure if it would stick to a wood based product… as wood expands and contracts a lot Maybe test an area before you commit to the full thing! Good luck!

Hmm...I was looking at how to skim coat an interior stucco wall. I was assuming you skim coated over the stucco but looks like that is not what the video was about. @@zackcrafted
I haven't saw any stucco wall, coz covered with boards. Here we are, this is plain walls yet. When with stucco a situation much more difficulty. I don't use metal tools because they have a weight and could brings obstacles when making smooth formation, besides I use plastic tools. (*_*) (Like 27; Comm 8; View 3.9K)
Never saw an interior stucco wall here. Disappointed. Was told the apartment we are in are stucco walls. NEVER had any like these. Terrible at holding heat, awful at releasing it.
Thanks I didn't know you can sking coat stuco with drywall mud 👍🙏
Thank you! Some nice tips in there.
