I love the homage paid to Jayz from using his legendary beat. "I got 99 Problems", "each time I came I saw I conquered", "best rapper alive", "empire state of mind" are all references to Jayz songs featuring artists like Eminem,Alicia Keyes, or Linkin Park.
"Rock fell out of the sky" is a reference to JayZs label, Roc a Fella Records. There's probably more I missed, but these were the ones that came to mind. Whoever is writing these lyrics know their shit. Cocona killed this.
The other ones I noticed:
-'Then put it on repeat like an encore', referencing the song Encore, then saying 'Put it on repeat, encore' is fire.
-Mentioning blueprint, like Jay-Z's album
-Also, C to the Izzo N to the Izzay = Izzo (H.O.V.A)
It's a complete and utter homage to Jay Z and the references are expertly intertwined within the bars. The flow is on point and she is going to be a superstar. She's only 18.
She has been writing her letters since elementary school.
Don't forget the Legendary Blueprint Album and also the iconic C to the Izzo and N to the Izzay reference on Hov's H.O.V.A

Ok honestly.... XG is insane and I mean their skills, their delivery, their verses, their attitude. They are really displaying how good Jpop is. And they put the chills in any Kpop group because they didnt come to play, they came to drop the mic!!! Harvey Mesmerized me, Maya shook me, Cocona shows us who is boss, now.... I am eagerly awaiting what Jurin will do! My guess, speed and charisma! Jurin can do anything and I have a feeling my jaw will drop.
