Nuzlocke rules:
Fainted Pokemon must be permanently boxed
Only the first encounter on any given route may be caught (dupes clause)
All pokemon must be nicknamed
Hardcore Rules:
No items in battle (only held)
No overleveling the next gym leader

4:29 You can actually use Thief to steal the sitrus from the snorlax that blocks your path near the berry farm. It doesn't change the situation in the gym but that extra health might be a game changer in a future run

@@thefoodyscarecrow7391 I found that out purely because I really like the berry farming in XY and wanted far, far, far too many sitrus berries for my playthrough. I think I had like 800ish before I even got to the next town

If you find a Trevenant on Route 20, you can dupes clause your encounters to get Pumpkaboo on Route 16.

That battle frontier comment hit me deep on a level previously unknown. Good run, definitely didn't expect it to be as hard as it was, but in retrospect and seeing the run it made sense. Respect for only using your Mega on the champion fight. Almost didn't click because of Mega Gengar in the thumbnail and thinking it would be trivial.

I like to watch these videos while I'm playing Sword. I think the next time I play through the story, I'm gonna put in the over level rule. I've spent way too much time in the wild area and I was way over leveled for Gordie. Made him cry in his locker room for sure lol
