This and Modern Combat were so much Fun. I started playing them when my Blue-Ray drive crapped out on me but kept playing for a long time after repairing my ps3. 10/10

We need to create a community to bring back this game to life on PC
We should also find people who can reverse-engineering the game. But sadly, the game is not as popular as Battlefield 2 for modding.

EA just announced that this game, along with Bad Company 1/2 and mirrors edge will be delisted April 28th, servers will go offline December 8th 2023.
I'm on Xbox and the last time I played 1943 would be back in 2019 some months after the 10th anniversary, servers were actually pretty full for the most part, I expect a ton of people will jump back on near those dates now. I know I will.

i played the demo on xbox 360 i would just run around the shooting range solo i cant remember if there were bots/real people or not on the demo

I just found your video! I used to play this game all the time back in 2010-2012 or so. I just hooked up my ps3 to play some games with my sons. I tried to play this game (assuming it wouldn’t be playable) and every time I try to join a game, it tells me my account has been disabled. I searched and found your video- maybe the servers have officially gone down and I just missed the window? Any updates? Is this still playable or do you think it is something up with my account or the downloaded game? I’m not super savvy with this stuff so maybe someone has thoughts? Thanks!

I did no such thing lol, but don’t worry, games that get their servers shutdown typically get revived by the community, such as the PSONE ps3 community
