Prayer has become so important to me and I love talking to God and praying for friends and family! You are able to grow closer to God, but also praying for others allows you to grow closer to your community!
Ohh my gosh madi, i can't believe you did that, the part where you said you went into a local church in college and was like hey "am madi, i don't have friends and i need Godly friends can we be friends" it got me crying😭 and laughing at the same time cause i have also tried that both directly and indirectly and it felt weird and embarrassing and it didn't actually go so well but i am still trusting God to find my local church and a Godly friend and i know he will answer me at his appointed time.

I honestly love that you are a prayer warrior, can I just ENCOURAGE you, and I pray that you see this in the name of Jesus, to KEEP praying and being loud and bold about it. Prayer is EVERYTHING. Don’t stop, keep going. Thank you for your boldness in making this channel I think it’s awesome. I remember watching you on the bachelor and I wasn’t even a believer at that time but the Lord brought it back to my memory that you were waiting for marriage which at the time I didn’t understand because I was still living in sin and now I’m on the other side walking with Jesus, reading the Bible for the first time in my life, understanding that you were staying true to the word of God! Loved this episode :) Permit me to testify that a couple of years ago I was told that a person I loved dearly was dying and fell into a coma in the hospital so I got in my knees and I began to pray in my room so I said I must go to the hospital and pray for the person so I took a little plastic bottle that was given to me and I added some olive oil inside and I knelt and I said Lord anoint this oil. I took the oil and I splashed it own my hands and took the bus to the hospital. When I got there I saw the person in the bed motionless so I took my hands and put it on the persons head and I whispered in the ear and I said, Wake up! than I felt this bad presence in the room and I began to rebuke the foul spirit and than the person began to have like a seizure episode and I said leave now and when the person family got to the room the person was awake and speaking to the nurse attending her.
Prayer is your communication with God, You get into a spiritual atmosphere when you pray and you can talk to God directly and hear his voice and actually feel his presence. I have many testimonies about prayer but I want people to know how much prayer is important for a christian walk with Christ. Faith begins with prayer and manifests itself when you take actions when you say it is done and belief. I agree with Madi that you should make your room or closet your portal if I may use that term to reach out to God. Learn to have a close relationship with God because just believing isn't sufficient to feel his presence or hear his voice in your life. People die and suffer because they are taught that its in God's will if you will recover and half true but when its not God's will he will tell you and not leave you hanging without a answer. Daniel prayed to God and didn't receive his answer immediately but yet from the first day he reached out God had sent his messenger with the answer. Daniel 10:12
Pray, Fast and Stay true to your faith in God and he will have that relationship that is incomparable to relationships of the world.

@@donnaellis9721 I'm a strong advocate of prayer, Its just your communication with God just like we have communication with people over a airwaves that we can't see but can hear. I thought this episode was really good and Madi expressed herself openly on the reason of praying and why it's important. I'm one of those guys that has had many experiences with God and the spiritual realm. Glad you liked the testimony because it was something that is one of the big miracles God has shown me.
For me: prayer, worship, community (online as of the past few years ) , and reading the Bible (new for me) have been really helpful for me!
Prayer helps us grow in our personal relationships with God. I pray out loud all the time!
Be still , and know that I am God - Psalm 46, verse 10 (one of my favorite verses).
If you’re looking for a sign, Do it! Absolutely true! One of the best things that ever done is surrounded by community in the church. I’ve met some of the best people in my life, and if I never decided to join the church community… I would have never would’ve known those people. IT’S WORTH THE RISK!
