Absolute gibberish... the difference is you were high on drugs then, not in debt, no family, concerns or worries - real life has tainted your view of how things were compared to now Sir, this is an absolute smasher!
The production of the music sounds advanced, the sound design is really sharp and well crafted. But it's made for posers to take a selfie. There's WAY too many long breaks, snare rolls to dead ends, up/down sweeps and vocal filtering. This song you've uploaded is a prime example. 3mins 30secs and two minutes of no bounce, filtered vocals. The song itself is actually decent just ruined by pointless breaks and high/low pass filtering. it would be interesting to hear if John took the filtering and breaks away, I'd bet the track would sound much better.
