Excellent explanation, sir ! I understood everything except the" eurocentrism in paradigm" . Would you please elaborate that point to make it more clear to me ? Thank you sir .

@@POLSCHELP sir, I couldn't understand paradigm clearly from the explanation you gave in this video but I think it is a very vast concept which includes not only a certain set of methods of theorizing , way of perceiving ideas and a particular vocabulary specific to a field but a lot many things . Which things ? IDK ! That's why I said it's not very clear. But I think I understood what eurocentrism in paradigm means . Let me give you an example: We try to fit the thought of indian political thinkers in the schools of political thought developed mostly in Europe . This is a kind of eurocentrism because while doing so we are basically ignoring the different cultural and socio-political settings in which indian thinkers were writing. Those schools of thought are a part of paradigm . I hope I am right . If not , please correct me. 🙂
@@IamParulSharma exactly, u r spot on...paradigm is the overarching framework within which study and research are done. It is kind of agreed upon set of terminologies, concepts, methods, and values which are sacrosanct for all within that paradigm. But new discovery, new innovations, series of falsified hypothesis within existing paradigm may bring about paradigm shift/change. For example, Einstein's discovery of quantum theory changed the paradigm of Newtonian classical mechanics.
