A new era of spaceships

Basically how this works is you place 5 rotating servos ontop of 2 quantum rudders and 5 below them. You set the engle to infinity (all the way to the right). Clone it to the other side and reverse the speed or the controls.
If you use above 10 servos on each side it statrs to bug out so it's no recommended and the fruther the individual quantum drives are apart, the faster it goes, although you need to really stabilize it, if it gets too wide.
Bruh i tried this with 5 servos and it kept buggin out
I used the helicopter motor and it worked with only two, one on each side, although I warn you that it does not stop or accelerate as much as with the servos.

To be fair it's a bit of a different approach, with the quantum rudders flat on the plane they spin along (instead of 'like a water wheel') and going much much faster

This is really cool! I'd actually built an Eta-2 Actis Jedi Starfighter with a hyperdrive ring and posted it to the Trailmakers Reddit. The ring was as close to the screen version as I could get it (so far, anyways, still working on it) and only boosted the fighter's speed by 100 km/h or so. After watching this video, I took this idea and modified it heavily to be more like what you've done here. It reached comparable speeds to yours, but mine wobbled insanely due to the way I had to place the detaching mechanism, so I've abandoned it for now. Definitely keeping this technique in mind for the future, though! :)
Maybe this could be used to send out player made misiles or something at relative close range if the acceleration is good.
Sadly the individual motors have to be distanced quite far away from each other to get any real speeds (no clue why) so it'd be impossible to fit into a missile profile

Maybe use the same concept, but you need to build a fighter to detach from the hyperdrive when arriving to battle. It is a REALLY good hyperspace concept.

i made a skeleton frame hyperdrive and tuned it for performance, this left me with the max performance coming to around 3000 mph with around 8 seconds acceleration time coming from 4 sets of 7 rotating servos with the same 4 rudder setup. this is very barebones however and it does not react well to excess weight. it ended up tearing itself apart after adding some 50 kg weights. I'm hypothesizing that sacrificing speed via less servos is the key to stabilizing it under load.

I used to play a game called “plane crazy” on roblox. It is very similar to Trailmakers. My friends and I used to use glitch based hyperdrives, and it makes me happy to see glitch engines in Trailmakers too

How do you make it
You could make a system with logic that disables the hyperdrive when you press the fire button,
You could even put the weapons on half a second delay so you come to normal speed you can fire accurately
Or just make a system that disables weapons when hyperdrive is active

Meanwhile im on my 3rd extremely overcomplicated 'inertia dampening' spaceship because im trying to avoid using quantum rudders because they slow me down... 🤦♂🤣 (all 3 of which only barely work due to the weight to power ratio being virtually the same for all thrusters...)

I made an x-wing style ship with these right after i saw kosmos video lol. Its not fast but its definetly very maneuverable
imma just buy the game for this rreal quick. i love this tech in its infancy... and i know for sure its only a matter of time before the hyper in quantum hyperdrive... actually kicks in.

Could you please make a zero powercore sailing battle with actual sailing tec wehre you can basically sail against the wind (you don’t actually sail against the wind just in a very steep angle)

How does this work in the normal maps? And how far can you go in the high seas map using the hyperdrive
(Quantum rudders DO work in the other maps btw)
It will eventually respawn you in high seas winds were going 400 plus
You guys should do capital ship battles, the larger space map supports large complexity creations. I have a few build already.
saw Kosmo do something simular. was gonna make my own quatum drive Cruiser with it now i see the better way.
imagine those in series to make a warp nacelles. its possible to build a galaxy class ship aka the USS Enterprise NCC1701D
Day 19 of asking for an Torpedo bombers vs Shark on high seas. The bombers can only use on Large prop and have 2 torpedos that they can only be dropped below an set altitude. The shark can only use melee attacks and armor plates don’t count to the block limit. The controls get split like one player has pitch and yaw control and the other player has roll and bite/etc. controls.(sry if my English is bad I’m german)

I wonder if one could make a reusable Hyperring with magnets for docking and a distance sensor that can be activated through a lever or piston on the ship.

now you should use this concept and stack them to create bigger ships (Star Wars Star Destroyer or Star Trek Enterprise)

IMPORTANT EDIT: i just tried it, and i couldnt get it to work with 5 servos, BUT I GOT IT TO WORK WITH ONE! im not sure how to add more yet, but ill post a tutorial maybe
A little, but you need a pair of quantum "screws" (or it will just spin you around in place) and they need to be quite a distance apart or the accelleration is really slow.
The closer the props are to the main body the slower the acceleration and top speed, so balance it (for fighters you don’t need as much top speed so you can make them a little closer)

It seems to be bugged on PS5. I made an exact replica of the base model and it only goes about 200 MPH
