You know Tony Stark was a good character when you still tear up at his death even in 16 bit form
Fr
Facts
No, he was the best.
Same, wtf
Lol me too. I thought I got over it but seems like I didn't
This 16-bit cinematic masterpiece should deserve to get displayed at the museum of arts. This is the true beauty of nostalgia.
He missed dr strange
Calm the eff down..,,
I agree
Btw Jesus can save and science and history support it
How could you call it nostalgia ?... It's just got released less than 3 years ago.
@@Wangdoodle444 Ikr
I really feel bad for Wong tho. Tony invited him to his wedding, attended Tony's funeral instead.
His fate in Infinity War wasn't shown and his screen time is done after Ebony Maw kidnapped Strange and didn't show up in that movie again. But you're right, he shows up in the Endgame portals after the undusting so its fair to assume he got dusted and came back undusted and helped conjure the portals for everyone.
Wiki says that too but I mean, maybe he wasn't dusted and attended Stark's wedding but just wasn't part of the main time travel team lol. I think for his character its better if he was dusted and returned to life. Especially since all the non-snapped characters are 5 years older now than the undusted ones and if hes going to be in more movies all the dusted ones are the younger generation that will continue the brand.
@@TechInspected He was in the marketing for Endgame (such as Benedict Wong being credited on the official poster), so he wasn't snapped.
Wong wasn’t snapped away, it was shown in the character poster
@@TechInspected no that’s not true cause In no way home he gotten higher duties since strange blip
Wong wasn't snapped so he could've attended the wedding 😳😳
The man did it. Despite the fear going into it, he’s made one hell of a pixel animation.
It made me feel all the emotions just like first time seeing it in theaters. What an awesome job! Love it!
I second that
Indeed!
Btw Jesus can save and science and history supports it
I actually teared up a couple of times. Fantastic job.
Time Travel Destroy the entire story line.
I hate to even imagine how long this would have taken to make.
Imagine the real thing. Apparently "the oner" shot was one of the first things, if not the first things they worked on CG wise, and was one of the last things to finish, 2 years later.
Me too lol
@@wholelottastairway8 Just makes you appreciate the work put into these even more.
It took 1 year part 1 cam out a year ago
You actually put in the Spider-Man theme! This is officially better than the actual scene now
Gotta give the composer some extra points because not only did he recreate Silvestri's score very well, but also:
1:01 Threw in the Iron Man theme from Homecoming
2:11 And Spider-Man's theme from Homecoming
Yes! It was noticed!
He also added a little of the Cpt Marvel when she appeared. Difficult to notice due to her theme song being much more unknown than the others
I don't know why, but watching this gets me in that special same way the movie did when I first saw it
@tyler norton HA!
@tyler norton fly up to space and take the gauntlet where? lol
@Brian Cairns very true
Yeah but it was really necessary?
@tyler norton they had a van for her to take it straight to, though, it would've been a terrible idea to keep it in the same time as thanos and his army at all.
of course, that plan didn't work out...but her actions made sense
Honestly is so cool kinda wish there was a game like this.
I would love an Infinity War/Endgame game that captured the actual feeling of the films. That said, I kinda also want the X-Men involved in whatever game comes out. It's not a real Marvel game if I can't play as Storm.
Just imagine you controlling many characters at once. Like, while you control Black Panther as he is running with Gauntlet, you would also control Scarlet Witch occasionally.
I hope the avengers game is good
IKR, I would've even bought The Last Jedi game when you guys made that video #makethesereal

This is incredibly insane. HUGE props to John, what a legend, seriously what a FUCKING LEGEND.
It’s crazy. Even in 16 bit, Hulk still doesn’t get any justice.
Sadly
Instead of justice he gets shit on and underrated by everyone
And it hurts
Can't wait for this to be on another news article that wont mention Mr Sunday Movies
Or IGN will steal it.
They should site the artist that made it, really, but link his vid as well for more viewss
Considering how insane the "one-shot" is in Endgame, it's incredible that you managed to re-capture it in the 16-bit style.
Very impressive, I Love It 3000.
At 2:32 you can see iron fist, Luke cage, Jessica jones and daredevil
Saw it at 0.25 playback speed and it’s still fast lol
Ghost rider is there too!
How the hell did you notice that? It's going so fast.
@@draxthedestroyer3384 omg how is this possible... you're everywhere dude
@@draxthedestroyer3384 just that good
Interesting use of Tony's theme from the Spider-Man movies when they reunite. Nice incorporation of previous themes
Even if this was the official Endgame release it still would have been better than Justice League
At least this movie was rendered properly
Btw Jesus can save and science and history support it
Alex_Magna that's True.
The Random D ok but who asked
Yeah but we had fun with justice league right?
What i wanted
What we wanted
*THE WHOLE TIME!!*
Yup
Btw Jesus can save and science and history support it
The Random D how is that relevant?
Arsh Attar it’s not but I just tell people wherever they are.
I think you meant to say "thank you," and "I am humbled by the time and effort you put into creating this work of art."
The Random D I’d rather not turn this comment section into a church. You should actually appreciate the thing you watched.
I just wanted to say thank you for all those smaller fun moments that were still rendered even though they didn't have to be. You got a lot of my favorites in:
Falcon stabbing that thing with his wings.
The way Shuri alternates her gauntlet shots.
Okoye killing Corvus Glaive.
The way Ebony Maw levitates.
The build up of energy in Black Panther's vibranium suit. The flow of the legs on Spider-Man's instant kill.
Valkyrie splitting open a Leviathan.
So many details that I missed, too.
Same chills as the actual movie. The creator of this video is an absolute genius artist.
An absolute masterpiece.
Genuinely, absolutely outstandingly!
We literally waited a year for this & it's AMAZING 😂😂😭
0:06 James and Mason in 16 bit ready for battle is the best thing I've seen all day.
wow, great eye
OH YES THATS AWESOME! NOW THEY CAN SAY THAT THEY WERE INVOLVED In THE FINAL BATTLE 🤣
Wait is that Howard the Duck?
@@RyokaDW Yes. He's in the actual scene too. Look to the right when The Wasp appears.
I think I appreciate the behind the scenes/making of part at the end more than the video itself (which was amazing)
Overwhelming tasks aren’t insurmountable, sometimes they take a second look later on to see that there is a path to success
I'm glad that you didn't give up on completing this. I know you must have felt a huge sense of accomplishment as well once it was finished. Kudos to you and the Mr. Sunday Crew. This is a masterpiece that should be acknowledged.
Thanks for your support, my brother does these animations by himself, he gets help with the music, but hes a one man team. He does run a lot of the ideas through me to get a second glance. But he does everything himself. He is excited it is getting a lot of comments and people are finding all the easter eggs. :) Again thanks for the support.
Damn, even in 16 bit this still managed to make me cry 😂😭
The spiderman homecoming iron man motif playing when stark hugged parker gave me the chills
Well done!!!! Always love the 16 bit stuff!
Waaait a second. Is that Deadpool in 0:37 ???
Edit: Deadpool CONFIRMED IN THE MCU, GUYS!! BY A MISTER MOVIES OF SUNDAY
He snuck in early.
Very good eye, I tweeted Jon and confirms there are 5 other hidden nuggets that could be only 1 frame long 0.0
Happy hunting ^^
Where?
Oh i see it. On 0:38
Yo MvFev, could be a stretch, but I think I see the Xmen Blackbird at 0:52
Just to the right of Mantis in the background!
I really love when James collaborates with other creators! I find it quite unique how he let's them use his channel and that is what makes it so cool. It shows, that this channel and James are kind of an institution at this point. It also helps keep the channel fresh.
Damn, this hit me right where I needed it.
This animation brought back every single feeling that original scene gave me, and it was made more poignant by the nostalgic feeling of the 16-bit animations. The SNES & Genesis eras were where I got my true start as a gamer, so this has an extra touch of those old-school feels for me.
I appreciate all the hard work that went into this, and I am super excited to see what you do next! :)
You are indeed a Master of 16 bit John. Well freaking done!
Such a beautiful sight to behold this video is. The sheet amount of hard work that was on display here is literally ground breaking. Please keep them coming and we will keep supporting them as best as we could. Love from India

Deadpool XD
You beautiful mad man. It was perfect, and well worth the wait.
Cap, Spidey and Thanos with their oldschool Marvel Super Heroes voices! Right from the 90's! Brillliant!
Now We’re Talkin, lets get this in IMAX ASAP!
I don't think you could stretch pixels to IMAX size... It's already blurry on my 50"4K TV
It’s already beautiful
Btw Jesus can save and science and history support it
Dude, I saw this and immediately liked it, before the video was actually done. Then I heard the epilogue where you explain the hard work it took. You deserve the praise, man. The hard work paid off. It hit all the emotional beats and legit made me tear up at the end. I immediately got nostalgic, and this movie isn't even that old (it's just that 2020 is SO LONG)! Anyway, great job, man. I wish I had more hands, so I could give this video 4 thumbs up. 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
Wow this is absolutely amazing work John and the confrontation with Scarlett Witch and Thanos is still everything to me!
You did an amazing job man! I live vicariously through this like it’s a real game. The Endgame.
It's always funny to think that I found the Sprite work before the podcast, and now I'm listening to the podcast every week waiting for the next animation. Amazing work!
This was truly impressive, I love it 3000!!! Awesome job!
This was incredibly awesome! I cannot even begin the imagine how difficult and time intensive this must have been for you but it was well worth it from a pure enjoyment perspective. Thank you for creating and publishing this!
I really really love when you explain everything afterwards. These were so amazing! Great job homie!
The hard work payed off man, incredible work that’s so underrated and can’t be more great full you made it
Wow! What a major coincidence, because I just found and watched part 1 yesterday for the first time. This is a really nice treat to be able to see part 2 so soon :) Great work on it
All of your 16 bit videos are great. I am glad you finished this, an excellent job, honestly, I remember the emotions I felt while watching Endgame in the theater for the first time, and you nailed it. You got all the emotional peaks and story points and you NAILED IT. I could remember and align the same emotions because of how well you recreated the scene. So again great job on all your videos and thank you for another outstanding piece of animation. Cheers.
These 16 bit scenes are the best! It's amazing to see the limits of the medium being pushed to the absolute max! Great Job!
These always make me think of the MCU as a series of games that came out in the 80s with an incredible story but were limited by the technology of its time and I love it
I really like your design(?) choices like the way the gems circled in mid-air for tony. Really cool!
This was outstanding. Worth the wait. Thank you.
Love the honesty at the end of this video. Amazing job bro! You nailed it!!!
Good job, John - you nailed it.
You've just made 2020 a little less bad. Thanks.
Never been here so early but this is some of the dopest content on the internet 🔥🔥your hard works is definitely appreciated!!
Incredible job dude!!! Much respect for getting this accomplished AND making it so EPIC!!!
Beautiful work, your hard work brought a lot of joy to me and my son. Thank you!
So Epic! Just like the Russo Brothers, you managed to keep focus through color, action, camera movement, all while making it feel like a Sega Genesis side scroller. NICE JOB!
:O been waiting for this for so long :D
John, this is amazing. Truly a masterpiece. Unfortunately, you have now found yourself in the same position as the MCU, asking "Where do we go from here?"
Man it’s just amazing that you did this I love it
I love how Spider-Man activating insta-kill is posed in his Marvel Vs Capcom pose.

Nailed it! An Impossible task completed during quarantine. What a vast number of people wanted and hoped to do. But you are now a member of a very exclusive group that have done the personally impossible! Well done!
Damn this was great, love the detail

*Hey Queens, heads up!*
Suckerman7 GM **yeet**
You are truly amazing! Outstanding work, brilliant, awesome! Thank you so much for giving us the GIFT to all fans of Marvel and videogames
I usually take to these for granted but that explaination at the end enhanced my experience, keep up the good work
"impressive, your parents must be proud."
Anyone who knows that line is a legend.
Pretty sure that’s from the first Spider Man film , Norman Osborn said that when Peter said he understood Norman’s science research
@@jahsmoove8647 good job sir
This is a very good content. Give this man an award, no, he deserves "best Oscar in history" award
Great job animator!! Good explanation of how you went through it. invaluable.
A beautiful masterpiece thanks so much for this I love it so much
This is true art. The visuals are amazing but the music truly makes this scene. Absolutle adore the 8 bit spiderman and captain marvel themes
6:43 MOBIUS?!!! So that's where he came from in the Sacred Timeline!
Great job, man! Many layers of information(even
the way Mantis moves), and it takes two or three times to see what's happening in second and third plan.
Absolutely love your animations man, please keep it up! I'm game for any of your content
0:28 That punch of Giant Man is totally epic in all forms. It would be even amazing as a cave painting.
This is amazing overload. That editing is something else and they included the funeral. Endgame over was perfect.
How am I getting chills from 16bits!! Great great great work!
Well made! Thank you for your time finishing this!
This video is amazing at everything really, but I wanna talk about the music for a second.
You guys have done a fantastic job at recreating the film’s score: _Portals, Captain Marvel’s theme, The Real Hero_ (aka Tony’s funeral score) and all the rest already in the film. But I also noticed at 2:12 you play a little bit of the MCU Spider-Man theme and I don’t think that was in the original film. Very nice work!
- Theme can be heard here: ua-cam.com/video/UjFSbQfcouA/v-deo.html
- Here’s example when it’s in use: ua-cam.com/video/zErzJxN84iw/v-deo.html
There were probably reasons why it wasn’t used in-film - maybe they thought using the theme for Spidey when he’s stabbing aliens might’ve been a little off-putting - but it was a real nice touch here. Loved it.
Simply mesmerizing, fabulous work. I am speechless.
Awesome Maaaan! Thanks for making this!! Love your work!
We all know an actual NES game would end with "Conglaruation! This story is happy end! Play again?"
If this was an actual NES game, the system would have exploded
An actual NES game would have been made by the craptacular LJN, since they had the Marvel license. It would have looked beyond terrible, and played even worse.
NES is 8 hit this is 16 bit so SNES
Nah this is SNES, the engrish wans't as bad.
It's awesome
What a wonderful job you did! Thanks!
This was badass! Thanks so much for making this!
Even though it's in whatever bit it really felt like watching endgame all over again 😢
2:03 I like Ebony Maw is posing like the 'you know I have to do it to 'em' guy.
you gave it your all, you put your heart and soul into it, taking blood, sweat, and maybe tears to get it done, and dude, and we all love you for it, thank you for making this, and your welcome for us loving it
Way to go man! So well done.
Perfectly balanced as all 16 bit animations should be.
Oh my Stars and Garters, even in 16-bit it’s still epic.
Great job! I always look forward to these.
Amazing work, thanks for sticking with it 👍
Remember 2019
When there still where Moments of Awesome
This guy does some sick work.
Incredible 16 bit animation! Had to re watch twice to catch all the little details. Job well done!
Finally! Part 2 has arrived!
Parts 1 & 2 need to be paired up into one video.
Exactly what I was thinking
