Good idea. I have a digital meat thermometer that I'd never use for cooking, but it's perfect for testing soil temperature on my indoor garden eggplants. Evaporation lowers soil temperature to below room temperature, so I'm using seedling mats to see if that improves the growth rate. Thanks for sharing!
Thank You so much ! 😊
Very well summaried, helpful and quick

Gracias ❤
Thanks for the tip about the position of the thermometer ;)
Nice tip - how would you keep indoor containers warm ? Would the best method be to lay some mulch on top of the soil - pls advise thanks
Thank you for watching the video if it is a large container and you're able to set it by a outdoor window the warmth of the room should be ample to keep the mass of soil warm you certainly can add mulch to hold temperature in the soil if you are in a very cold room you could wrap the base of the container with bubble wrap or you could go to the investment of purchasing a heat mat to set under the containers to keep them warm
