- Winford Lindsey Stewart was born on June 7, 1934 in Morrisville, Missouri and sadly passed away on July 17, 1985 in Hendersonville, Tennessee✝️
Better known as Wynn Stewart he was an country music performer.🎶
He was one of the progenitors of the Bakersfield sound. Although not a huge chart success, he was an inspiration to such greats as Buck Owens, Merle Haggard and I’m sure many others.
The song “ANOTHER DAY, ANOTHER DOLLAR” is a song written and recorded by Wynn Stewart.❤️
Recorded February 8, 1962 and released in August 1962. 🎶 and became a top 40 single that same year.💪
Wynn Stewart is buried in Rose Hill cemetery in Willard Missouri.✝️
While I was at the cemetery filming and performing two of Wynn Stewart songs, I met some awesome people who were the caretakers of the cemetery.🙏
As me and my dad stopped what we were doing, we walked over to introduce ourselves. they told us some wonderful history of the cemetery, and some of the people who are laid to rest there.✝️
Like Kenneth Harlin Gables. He was a Major League Baseball pitcher for the Pittsburgh Pirates from 1945 to 1947.⚾️
They also set up a bulletin board in the cemetery telling about Mr. Stewart and Mr. Gables.❤️
I just wish I would’ve thought of getting a picture with them before I left the cemetery🥲
They’re trying to set something up at their church to remember Mr. Stewart and they’ve invited me back to perform.❤️
I’m certainly going to take them up on it.🎶

Outstanding! Wynn Stewart is one of of my favorite artists and is unappreciated. Right there with Buck and Merle with the Bakersfield Sound. You should visit the grave of the great Don Rich.
