I bought this just a few days ago and am very pleased with it. I use it for my headphones and my powered Bose Companion 2 speakers; the sound is superb.
Will these be able to power the HIFIMAN HE400SE. I just got the HE400SE, but at 100 volume on my i7 10th gen ROG Strix laptop they're just okayish loud. Will the K5 pro be able to power with enough headroom? Thanks!
Can it run the dt 770 250ohms? Also I use my pc for gaming not to mix or do audio things but I took the dt770 250 because I love high quality audio so is there a latency? U know as a gamer every ml second counts
unfortunately, I didn't test it with 250Ω Bayers, so I can't say for sure. Fosi calls K5 Pro "gaming DAC", so it's main purpose is gaming, so they took this aspect into account
unfortunately, I can't provide any valuable feedback, as I never had HD559. spec-wise it'll be ok, but it's not 100% guaranteed. and I don't play FPS, but based on other reviews Fosi K5 is decent as soundcard

I wish more of these DACs had digital output and not just input.
I mean DAC stands for digital-to-analog-converter
well, ADC costs extra price, and it's not a highly demanded item, as majority of people need only DAC
I think he means the connector on the back. Digital output such as optical, coax etc....

unfortunately, I can't say that, as I didn't test in practice. and without that I can be really wrong in my assumptions

Would u recommend this for me I run sennheiser hd 599 and play mostly fps like rainbow six and im on ps5

Does it have a microphone preamp?
Not a powerful one. It's created for a sensetive mics used in headsets
