It would be cool if we could water the crops with it. All the drainage ditches on Edgewater would work perfect for it. Add a drought function that makes you water to increase the yield.

Water would be a cool addition to the game. Obviously optional and dependent on area. Here in Oregon We have to water all of our fields. Everything is ran off of our local dam. A lot of the fields have mini ditches that run along the edge of the field and the fields are sloped. We then run siphon tubes for each row every morning. Guys just walk every field and run siphons for every single row. If you don’t have water access then it’s usually piped to the nearest ditch and then we run irrigation lines. Pivots and hand lines are the most common in our area. There is so much to water with farming in our area it’s crazy. We have to pay for water rights. 50 acre field about $2500 a year.
We also run two types of pivots. We will run these circular pivots in square fields sometimes and just pipe in sprinklers in the corners that you can’t reach. We also have something called linear irrigation system that is just straight. It’s set up on gps across the whole width of the fields starts at one end and slowly works it’s way to their.

There is a mod called Liquid Lime which allows you to spray lime the same way as fertilizer. It is PC only, and you might have to edit the pivots to work, but you could probably get it working.

this mod is for roundfields....you need mod for squarefields from left to right and then in full lenght....this is water througing away for nothing...in reality there is much better watersprayers....no need for fertiliser different times to do that in your field....
How do ai workers handle this, they have a habit of not working the entire field, and stopping at one of the joins, so I'm worried this will make the problem even worse

This is a pretty common problem, however, there’s no real way to definitively fix it. This happens with updates every time I try to do something on my Xbox. Unfortunately, I don’t know much about how this could be fixed :/
I have the same bug on PS4 and all I do is tell the mod to update and once it's updated to 100% and I make sure that I don't have any other mods updating an I then force close my game and then I reopen my game immediately and that particular mod is installed and updated. This is something that Giants needs to fix and if it can't be fixed then you still can do what I've been doing and force closing the game. Last resort you can do is completely uninstall the game and data and then reinstall the game and start from beginning reinstalling mods and restart career mode.

I have Hispano's original pivots and use them to make round sugarcane fields, but looking forward to using the new version as well.

no, you must drive a tanker trailer to it to load the pivot with liquid fertilizer or herbicide, as far i understood. no dlc needed.

And then it should be installed fully.
I found that as a workaround.
