Another eye opening moment, this one concerning time.
I am definitely not an ageist in fact for as long as l can remember l have always gravitated to those older than me, sometimes even by many decades, because way back when sometime l was shown where wisdom lies.
So for years now l've been out seeking, trying to figure out the answers to questions that had yet to be asked. And in that order it's not the usual set-up as you know and so it goes because it did unfold that way, you know or maybe you don't but now l do..
I ain't the script writer but a writer of another sort, one that will not be celebrated or elevated in my natural life but criticized harshly, smothered out, dealt with unfairly, it's been pricey in terms of lost tears, but each one will be justified, never the less l struggle on unable to surrender to time whom is not my friend, 'least not til all my work is done, til then you'll find me just living out this part that l was given.
I said to myself when this video popped up, " Oh Yay, let's watch this beautiful old lady put together an evening ensemble with flare" because l could just tell and knew she would. Towards the end point of her video, as l sat outside in my car the blackness of nite rolling in behind the bay fog, l pressed pause for just a sec to reconfigure my seating position when l happen to glance up to the window and catch a visage of my reflection, still l am turning , my glance returning my reflection now fleeting in some headlights, it fades.
I am old now.
