You can use your improved focus skill, then hit it again to cut the channel short. This lets you get the buff without waiting the fill duration and without having to move.
I have started to experiment with exsanguinate and not using it. I kinda realize I do like 500k dps in the same time as a I hit blood arrow and exsan, plus you need to change to the dot bow and switch back when using it.
Hello, I am able tu sustain 90k+ over 3 minutes. Naturally the parse goes down a bit once I stop and wait to get out of combat so it ends in the low 80s.
@@elbutanero8 Yes if you do the same hit youll notice there is no increase in critical damage vs when you just crit from camo. Only the bonus crit chance works
your concept is blue red with red only being slightly used. your dependent on the feast or famine of blue line instead of using the "pound into dust" red line skills. red hunters are mainly by a vast lot a strong constant dmg dealer with the occasional crit hit. and yes their close combat skills are meant to be last resort for victory when the target has high enough morale that the constant pounding and the often bard arrow flee to then take dmg and recharge the red hunter, does not defeat the target. and yes they are not very good but hunters are not close combat. i have tried using them but instead now i just use more red line distance shooting skills and add more constant red shooty pain. the only blue i use is the morale and power rebuilds because nothing is more satisfying then to beat down some mob with 10 times or 20 times more morale then me to where they only got 20% of their original left when they finally get into close combat and they get their shot and do quite abit of dmg, medium armor does not give much dmg defense. to which when im at 30 to 40% left in morale i click the morale rebuild and im back to nearly full morale and that mob then takes three shots to the mug and keels over

Also as was pointed out by crookedmouf, you can cancel the focus by using the skill as well. This allows you to do this when in stealth.

Interesting, I haven't really tried playing around with this, but it does sound logical.
What is your average DPS on an on a training dummy? I'm having a hard time getting over 40k-45k, but I'm going to try your trait build and other tips.

I know hunters who think that swapping is too much work. I wonder if the raids they're in is lacking some DPS...
The crit multiplier is bugged btw, done plenty test only the 25% crit chance works proper
