Generative Design: Comparison of Revit/Grasshopper!
Вставка

- Today we quickly review the generative design and grasshopper capabilities for a simple generative design study. I hope you find this useful for benchmarking two options to the same problem, solved in different ways!
I hope you enjoy the session and learn something new! Feel free to comment any feedback/questions below, or follow my channel if you enjoyed this.

Very concise and to the point. Thanks for another great video!
You're welcome Ben!
Glad to see it! The most surprising is for me the speed of your PC, since I am used to seeing results at much lower seeds :) Hope that you will dig into other solvers as well!
I run on a WT758SM by MSI, amazing machine so far (but expensive).
I'll definitely explore more in future!
Thanks for all the valuable content! I think a detailed comparison between Wallacei, Galapagos, Opossum in this Revit/Rhino/grasshopper hybrid approach would be pure gold if you consider doing it!
You're welcome! Hopefully I'll explore them here one day, but I need to learn more about them myself too first.
Nice comparison, love how quick Rhino + Grasshopper are - one question, would comparing the optimise solver in Revit GD possibly yield more similar results to Galapogas? Or am I misinterpreting what the optimise solver is do you think? Cheers.
Yes the optimize solver would yield more similar results, albeit with the possibility to evolve in different directions at once. I believe they use different algorithms (spea/ngsa) but the results can often be comparable in my experience.
